January 19, 200719 yr on topic: yea...MEP2 was a run through hell. i can only hope that jagex make MEP3 even harder. with tons of high lvl monsters hitting u with melee, range or mage, a maze in wildy with traps and a lot of random puzzles. a quest that'll take hours to complete!!! :ohnoes: ah well...its all wishful thinking -.- off topic: yup, the 3 -iles bros were the boon and bane of traders and skillers. Certs allowed for huge trades of certain items but at the same time converting every 5 item into 1 cert and vice versa can be a pain. enough about the 3 -iles bros...dont want a mod to lock this thread bcoz of off-topic.
January 19, 200719 yr personally, I LOVE it when lower leveled players have the Quest Cape, because many of the combat quests are harder at lower levels. My definition of low is like 70ish lol :) *I did monkey madness below 70 combat* Maxed since Sunday, January 9th, 2014Completionist since Wednesday, June 4th, 2014
January 19, 200719 yr There's less than 2000 people with 90 slayer and I doubt anyone with a quest cape would want to spend a year trying to get that requirement. That's basically the concern of some high levels: because the quest cape requires for all quests to be done, it would make Jagex think twice about releasing a really really really hard quest (with high skill requirements). Alot of people would start complaining, specially on the official forums about it being too hard, not being able to get the quest cape anymore. Jagex has to cater to the majority of the playerbase, the majority has average stats. That's why some 'high-levels' are concerned a really challenging quest will not be released again. Personally, I think the quest-cape requirement should be changed to a set amount of Quest points to be achieved rather than a floating requirement. The requirement changes each time a new quest is released, I don't find that particularly logical considering how the achievement capes are set at a fixed level. I'm perfectly fine if it stays the way it is however, because I'm not an avid quester anymore. And all the props to everyone getting the cape, whatever level you are, it's a great achievement no matter what people will tell you. The quest cape has also been discussed in this topic (rants forum) and another topic found here (debate club)
January 19, 200719 yr its an expression on how easy quest cape is to get, walking to the legends guild is alot harder than doing all the quests and getting the quest cape, simple? If it's so easy, then go get one.its not hard to obtain since none of the quests are really that challenging... If some of the quests didn't give prayer exp i'd have that stupid cape.. But since i can name a few that will give me prayer i refuse to do the quests.. You're just angry cause you have the quest cape and some of us are bashing it lol you said everything i wanted to say lol. but i do agree that quest cape is harder than 99 cooking and fletching. 4000000657th to 99 cookin555555406th to 99 flethcin
January 19, 200719 yr To be honest getting the quest cape at a lower level is a bigger accomplishment than getting it at a higher level... every quest is possible given you have the minimum skill requirements, no quest can only be done by a higher level. But at a lower level it is actually much harder.
January 19, 200719 yr As a higher level I dont really care. Quest cape is easy enough to get at any level as long as you love quests. If you are able to get it at level 54, grats. If you are able to get it at level 126, grats.
January 20, 200719 yr It doesn't matter what level they are...only matters that they have it =p I think it's because they're jealous of the lower levels getting them while they're higher levels...not sure, but a thought? 99 Fletch~~99 WC~~79/81 Fishing87/94 Magic~~84 RangeEtha!
