Anybody still play them? It's a pretty legit question, considering we live in a world where graphics dominate the gaming world; there are some great PS1 games however.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I still own my ps1 that I got dec of '95, and still play it from time to time. Last night I plugged in Metal Gear Solid, and was addicted to it for hours.

Yep. Occasionally, me and my friends will play Crash Bandicoot. I still play Harvest Moon on the PS1, along with some of the Suikoden and Final Fantasy games. :D

nope... I bought a ps2 because of backwards compatibily and I still didn't play any ps1 games.

The only ps1 games i have are all the FF games made for ps1 (Maybe missing 1 or 2 of them, dunno). I was more into N64 when the ps1 was popular, so i didnt bother ever getting one. I just got a ps2 later for the games i wanted, and then figured out i could play FF games from ps1 on it, and bought some used.

Me and my mates play the original Need for Speed and Crash Bandicoot from time to time. :thumbsup:

I played the ps1 original spyro a few days ago. best game ever. :P. I was mad that he couldnt fly permanently though.

 

 

 

And i was playing a remake of valkyrie profile lenneth on my psp, just beat it today.

I play King's Field 2 every now and then.

I would play a PS1 game if I still had one. Dave Mirra preferably. I used to play that at my friends house all day.

Parasite Eve 2 & sometimes Metal Gear Solid. Don't really play PS1 too much anymore though.

o actually i still play team buddy sometimes. Very fun game.

Crash bandicoot was the first game I ever owned. I got my ps1 in a pack-set.. 2 games 2 controllers, 1 memory card..

anyway i have.... Crash Bandicot 1 to 5, Tomb Raider 1 and 4 (although 4 doesn't really work now) Devil Dice thats about it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I got Crash Bandicoot in 1996 when i was 4 i remember playing it back then too its not the same copy though that one broke and i got Tomb Raider 1 awhile after with this other game wich i cant remember so does anyone remember a 2D side scroller with a little Arabian guy on it?

Legend of Mana, FFVII, and FF Tactics are my absolute favorite games on there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I had a PS1 a long time ago, but sold it after I got a PS2.

Olympic Soccer. 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Players without any faces. Alan Green commentating. Classic.

i got thunder tanks and spryo year of the dragon i still play those on my old school ps1 that outlasted my ps2 =/

I used to play Syphon Filter, Metal Gear Solid, Blitz, Vigilante 8...Stuff like that, up until a couple years ago. Borrowed it to some kid and he dropped it out his window on purpose because he thought the thing was worth like $10 and I wouldn't care. :roll:

Yeah, I still have Final Fantasy IX, which I haven't actually finished. As soon as X came out, I started playing that instead, but anywhoo.

I only have a playstation 1, lol my ps2 is at my family's house. Favourite games have to be Final Fantasy 7, Crash Bash, Dave Mirra Freestyle (I've yet to lose a game of horse!), Micro Maniacs!

I don't have a ps1 now because the ps2 backwards compatibily but I had the 1st tony hawk game and all 3 resident evil games and I still play them to this day

I just got FFVIII today. Now to hunt for a dang PS1 memory card. Won't read my PS2 memory cards. Worked before with another PS1 game.

Man I used to play Crash and Spyro alll the time in the day. PS1 busted a long time ago but i've got ported xbox versions of the later sequels of the game (Wrath of Cortex, etc.). Last Bandicoot game suuucked though :(

Thats where I got the game. Anyway I'll raid my house for one first, then buy if I can't find.

Metal Gear Solid 1 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy are all you need.
