How many tokens does it take to get a defender on average? and whats the best way to get tokens without killing the addy and rune amination guys. And how long does it take in hours.

It all varies, some ppl get it in 1 k tokens, others 10 k. Its luck :-s

It's all chance. It's the timing because someone could kill like 5,000 guys and not get anything. You could go up and kill the exact Ogre he was killing and get it in one try.

The best way of getting tokens without killing the animations is by throwing the balls upstairs, just use energy pots.

theres a hally spot 4 animated armor

It took me 1,500 from none to rune.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It took me 600 tokens (1 hour) to go from black to mith, and then 50 to get addy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's quite fickle...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Got rune on, literally, my last 10 tokens.

It took me about 1500tokens the bronze one was a real pain lol

Like me, you may be discouraged by how frustrating it is to get one, but please keep in mind that that shiney rune defender is well worth the wait.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Keep at it, and kill the cyclopses near the door, that got me the defenders quicker. :thumbsup:

Im currently struggling with getting my rune one. I think I have used 5K+ tokens and still nothing. :evil:

 

 

 

By the way, what is the best technique with the shot put? I personally use jimmys barrels.

Takes like 1-2 hours to get to black/mith, and then only another 1 hour to get the rune.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I would just suggest killing the addy armors because they're not quite as hard as rune, but they still give you decent tokens.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, make sure you "use" your previous defender on the woman outside of the room. I do it JUST to make sure she knows to set me up with my next defender... Kind of OCD in that respect.

I would get maybe 200 - 300 tokens at a time, kill Cyclops and if you haven't got your defender in that time then return and get more tokens. there isn't much point getting 2k tokens and getting your defender in the first few hundred.

I'd actually go for about 500 tokens before you start. It takes very little time to get them and you'll go longer per trip. Buy up about 4 attack, defense and strength potions, bring some food, and start training! Keep your potted stats up. You don't have to worry about wasting them seeing as they're pretty cheap.

I used 2100 tokens to get the rune defender. I had 70 att, str & def at the time and used ring of wealth and whip.

Took me 1.5k tokens to get from bronze to 2 rune defenders. I killed mith animated armor, very easy and quick. If you wanted to stay away from animated armor, you should go with the defense game upstairs and do the shot put when you get enough energy.

it took me about 2500 tokens, i just killed the animated mith bodies, and did the defence minigame.
