its great, dont get me wrong, but i dont like the 'S' type river it doesnt look realistic at all. Also the land just seems to dissapear into water, maybe making all the water around the edge of the land lighter representing the transition from shallow to deep would have looked better. Maybe you did this I am on a laptop with a [cabbage]e display

I dunno where you live, but where i do rivers have big Ss in the last part of their "life" . Expecialy big ones as that's supposed to be. About the water i did ...still doesn't show up much. I'll probably work on that even i'm not so sure u can see the difference from such a high position, unless we talk about continental platforms that should be further deeper in the see than you can see in the image...i think...However thinking about it myself...*scratches head*

the river stays the same width for to long... and the colour isn't matching with the rest of that area..

Very nice indeed. Only problem is that the fist closest to us looks a bit squarish. That bg must've taken a looong time.

Wowa, really that sig is nice, one of the best ive seen so far :)

it looks great! especially the text isa funny your best so far i really like the shoulder and the teeth!, and judging by the height thats one big turtle to the right , nice cape 8) , best sets of hands ive seen in a sig so far, but you forgot a black outline at here tummy ..

the 2nd version looks way better, although the rounding in the plannet looks a bit weird, like it is an oval, instead of a circle..didn't realy like the BG in the first one, 2nd one looks way better, but still I'm not too fond of the combination of the kind of realistic background and the cartooney character. BG looks good, character look awesome, but combined I don't know. I hope you don't get me wrong or something, sig looks good, but I think you can make them better. :oops:

A view from the sky can't get that cartoony unless you remove details...you can't realy change the result if u want a SKY view...and imo low detail = bad. I'm not that great fun of such solutions...

 

 

 

About the shape of the horizon is mainly a matter of sig designing...2 bad they'r 2:1 . Didn't realy like the spheric result. Your sig, for example, has a totaly unrealistic sky (if you consider how light/colors should be noticable in space and how that sudden transition is impossible) still it's been done like that for a design reason, stressing the contrast between destruction and normality.That "error" actualy helps the design/comunication... About the 2 dots you pointed out...come on :P

Yea the one next to the arm, might be a bit overreacting but the first one, serrious that doesn't look good, you should change it IMO.

Just another chance to show us we all stink again at pixel sigs Jeepoz? lol just kidding. Awesome idea, and I love the little turtle island. Very cool concept and the land and water must've been killer to do. That'd be a pain in the down right butt to do. Anyways I like it very much. Nice use of colors, good perspective, and I really can't find anything to critique. Just a very good job done overall.

generally rivers develop meanders like that
