All the worlds offline

Today while playing runescape i lost connection, so i refreshed the page and tryed to click the world, but it wouldn't load. Thought something was wrong with my broswer so i opened a new IE window and to my surprise all the worlds are offline!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Whats going on? Can't be an update... i don't remember sein the update timer when i was playing...

It's a penguin quest!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Many have pondered the big questions in life: Who am I? Why am I here? What are those shifty penguins really up to? But none had taken the last one more seriously than Larry, a rather discombobulated* Ardougne Zookeeper. He's long suspected those penguins were up to no good, and now he's going to prove it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Larry is preparing to set off on an observational research trip to an iceberg in the Lunar Sea. He needs your help to get supplies and build a bird hide, where he will put your skills and your patience to the test. Be careful, though: a relaxing trip of penguin-watching is bound to reveal far more sinister things afoot... or aflipper.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For those of you eager to take on this challenge, youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll get to explore a brand new iceberg where you're likely to meet some interesting - and strangely musical - creatures who can even teach you a few new emotes. You'll also be rewarded with access to a brand new Agility course involving swimming through dangerous waters, avoiding falling icicles, slipping on ice and sliding on your belly!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But not all is fun and games with these penguins. Be prepared to step into someone else's shoes, er, claws and discover what the penguins are planning in their Cold War.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To start this quest, go and visit Larry by the penguin enclosure at the Ardougne Zoo.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

*Is nothing to do with disco, or Bob.

In Barbarian Assault, defenders will find that their barricades now last for longer when they try to block the Penance caves.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Icons have been added to the minimap to indicate places where sandpits may be found.

This week the update's going to take a little longer than normal. We're updating a number of our systems, doing useful things like synchronising the time on the login servers. So you may need to wait a few minutes before the game comes back online. And even then it might be a little laggy for a while as everyone rushes to download the update. So please train your Patience skill for a few minutes.

Do you like work for jagex or something? lol. Yea it is really laggy...i can''t stand it really lol.(can't do pc when it lags ) But i hope this lag doesn't last much longer.

Haha great! When worlds came online there was liek 2-5 players in some servers (I didn't took pic), so i thought buying arrows would be cheap. So it was.. There was 2k bronze arrows every server, so I bought around 500 from everywhere and got like 4k bronzes with 18k :XD: I could sell these easily 15 ea, and make heck of a profit, but I think id rather range them ;)

This is not the first time in history that all the servers have been OFFLINE at the same time. I recall it happening before in RSC and a couple of times in RS2 as well

this has happened on more then 1 occastion, there really is no need for this since the awnser was stated, and if the sec you went off line checked the updates it was listed...your own fault for not checking

Yea I was wondering why I got logged off suddenly and then I refreshed to main page to find 74,000 still playing and then saw all worlds OFFLINE

The same thing have happened to me sometimes just at the same time as Jagex updates the servers. They should try to fix it :).

 

 

 

I think the pinguin quests sounds very funny, It's just sad I'm just F2P :(.

Guys, it's normal....Happens like 99% of the time there's a system update.

 

 

 

Maybe ALL the worlds went offline because their was a minor bug or something.

 

 

 

I'm sure Jagex fixed it right away after Andrew was finished with his morning "random people banning"

Same with me, just tried logging into a few different worlds without any luck.
