in the Knowledge base it clearly said "these are triggered to do more damage than usual when around another range ammo" (meaning...put a rune arrow or bolt in your quiver)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

then they go and say later "oh it was just a bug"...

PHEW good... now the PKers can stop complaining about how bad of an update this was, when in reality, it was a top notch quest, a great reward, and a useful area for training, for both pures and mains. (the trolls drop a lot of useful things; I got a few rune warhammers from them along with many sharks, laws, balls of wool, seaweed, and a few other alchables like addy fulls... and they also drop granite shields I believe).

I agree with all of that besides barrows gloves. They are the reward from a VERY long quest, and should remain non-tradable. Besides, there was never anything of any value worn in that slot. Before people wore steel/klanks gauntlets, which are both non-tradable.

But the defender tradeable would mean rocket-boost on defender prices, and torso tradeable would make more purpose-less the barbarian assault

Fighter Torso's also take a long time to earn, getting 375 pts in each role is no easy feat.

some people like solo pking and can only do so at dragons, lvl 22 dragons, and edge...so others would use that item and all you get is legs and dagger in drop

I understand they changed it so you get it in a drop, but it's like 50K? People can buy it in a shop...wake me up when they change something important.

again it's crappy not in the sense of the item, but in the sense that it's not a big deal to change it...The item is store bought for 50k after the quest. It's not like its something important they changed....Which is probably the only reason they changed it. In that sense it matters nothing.

when you get 10-20 kills a day 50k makes a huge difference...

no b/c there was still decent profit to be had...rune plate, legs, helm, dds, possible whip...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

then...i thought about quitting with torso...but i was still profiting...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

then with this helm...with cost of pots and sharks there's no way i'd profit...it was the last straw
