Is it just me but iv just got a lot of updates that i spent nearly all day downloading them and not playing it.

 

 

 

Thats the problem coming in at the end of the exp pack, all the patches you have to download since it was released, worth it though.

I hope so im going to start downloading the final patch 3.02. at 4am as its just taking forever to download its 3.2gb download.. :wall:

Today i get my hunter to 10.I need to see what the pets are like :D

At the moment I have The Rake (He's a level 10 or 11, i forget, cat that patrols around mulgore) and he's pretty awesome, hardly ever looses aggro (unless cower magically gets set to autocast like it usually does -.-). Although I've heard good things about gorillas for pets so as soon as i hit STV I'm off gorilla hunting :D Aparently they can tank 4-5 mobs and they have an awesome AoE aggro spell or something ^^

I'm getting pretty excited about the expansion now. I was unsure whether I would start playing WoW again, but after checking the website just now I'm really looking forward to it. This will also keep me entertained during the time I don't have any school.

Weird dungeon story.In my quest to get all the dungeon acheivements, im doing all the dungeons in order of level whilst i level up.So next up was sethekk hall.Had a prot pally. ret pally, rogue, resto shaman and me.Ok so it was E-Z mode up until the final boss.If you havent done the encounter its pretty much a dps race with a gimmick in which he channels energy and you have to all run behind on of the pillars to not wipe.He also has a polymorph he casts on people so you have to be wary of that aswell.

 

 

 

First 2 attempts we wiped, first at 40% second at 15%.The resto shaman gives and leaves.So where there with 4 men (we dont know if the rogue was actually a girl, the character was female but they werent talking)and i step up to heal.3rd attempt as 4 men we wipe again this time at 11%.

 

 

 

So for the 4th attempt, as our tank said on vent"just [bleep]ing blow everything you have", we wipe at 30%.So we give it one last try and so for the 5th attempt its all going well upto 50%, im running low so i pop inervate not looking at the "starts to channel arcane energy", i die one shot and so the prot pally quickly dies because they werent looking at there unit frames.so theres a ret paladin and a rogue trying to kill the talon king with 30% hp, rogue pulls aggro at 20% dies, we yell over vent that this boss can be a freaking joke (bearing in mind weve all killed things much tougher than this guy) and then we see the ret pally take down the talon king with 17% health left.The 3 of us talking on vent were just in utter astonishment, pally's are incredible.

Yeah we were, and all about level 66 leveling alts.The main problem was the polymorph straight into arcane energy channeling where you run behind a pillar, it seemed like if you dpsed too much while you had a party member sheeped you could trigger the bomb thing which sucked.

There are two new servers on the EU realms, they are both PvE and are both great as you are a new player. There are currently no level 70s on the server and everyone is levelling. It's great because there are loads of low levels for dungeons and group quests too!
