Crimsonking, you're totally missing the point. They are pointing out things most parents don't get. If I was six, I'd probably have been scared by that Children of Mana game, and if you actually bothered to read the Xenosaga quote you posted, you'll notice they are saying that you need proper reverence to OTHER religions, too. And the Matrix thing is spot on.

You are all being idiotic. You're nitpicking things, and missing the point entirely. Would you want your six year old playing Dirge of Cerberus? Fable? I sure as hell wouldn't. In that aspect, the site is useful.

And if you guys say, "lolz they gave the bible game a A+", it's because they don't rank the games by gameplay, graphics and replayability. It's really obvious this isn't meant for gamers, it's meant for people who give games as presents and parents who let their kids play games.

Pokemon promotes the disproved theory of evolution.

[if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or

by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.]

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

If I see it consuming them, they start wanting more RPG games, or want to make cyber-friends, it will be disallowed.

No friends for Christian kids.

From the Halo review:

Nudity/Sexual Content: 17 out of 20

Your computer can talk to you and take the form of a hologram of a sexy woman.

HAHAHAHAHA.

I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

Just out of curiosity, why is that funny, at all?

Just the wording, mainly. 'Sexy woman' really got me. I guess us Christians aren't supposed to like anything that doesn't involve God.

We don't believe in fun :shame:

But I can understand why, I mean, again, seven year olds.

Umm, do they ever show anything but Cortanna's face? I haven't beat either Halo, but all I ever saw was her face. Even then, it's not like he's dressed like a hooker, is she? I doubt it.

The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past.

No.

I think it's a little obvious they were having a hard time looking for something to criticize.

If it only shows the face of a beautiful woman (computerised makes it even wierder) and they rate it down for sexual content, then that is beyond ludicrous, seriously.

Edit: In the game "Heavan Bound" -

Violence Score: 15 out of 20

Killing non-human realistic creatures (Ex. Deer Hunting) (-5 pts)

The enemies are hellhounds and demons.

Occult/Supernatural: 20 out of 20

There is no Occult/Supernatural.

:wall: Biased much?

7 year olds wont really be interested in shooting games. or at least i wasn't, i was terrified of shooting games. im fairly sure 7 year olds would be more interested in games such as mario party or pokemon.

parents shouldn't need this stuff to know what to decide for their kids.

lighviolet1lk4.jpg

At 7, I played a lot of shooters and stuff like that. They had a more scary feeling at night though, so I didn't play at night.

gr454rc.gif

I'm 20, and when I was 7, it was pretty much all about Mario and Duckhunt.

I think I was 11 or 12 when I started playing GTA...That was fine. *Shrug*

Still don't remember how I got that game, though...I never bought it, I just all of a sudden...had it. :o IT'S A SIGN!

You stole it. It had a bad influence on you before you even had it.
