February 16, 200719 yr Many people have done it. In a minute or less you will find their character fall to the ground. It's a simple death wish. Exactly. Like all dragons, Elvrag has the ability to breath fire. The only thing that can save you from it is the shield, or LOTS of anti-dragon potions.

February 16, 200719 yr Also, it's possible to do it with Ice Barrage or binding spells (if he can be frozen/bound). Just freeze/bind him, and mage/range him from a distance. Either that, or melee him with antifire pots and DDS. This is all for members, of course.. February 16, 200719 yr Y would u try, ... I suppose it's in the same train of thought as, "What's the lowest level to ever defeat Elvarg?" When you're bored of RS, figuring out these sorts of "impossible" things can be more fun then grinding out another 5000 steel bars...

February 16, 200719 yr It can be done easily, just use protect from magic and antifire potion, it's incredible easy. It's even easy with just protect from magic.

IIRC, your prayer points are drained when you enter Elvarg's room. Hence, the protect prayer won't work... Also, free players can't use antifire potions. So, for them, it's not quite so easy...
February 16, 200719 yr they can mage him wearing full green dhide. Tried that with full black d hide... With no anti shield, you're toast no matter what you wear.

Currently subsisting off of God Wars: 3 shards, 1 bandos hilt, 2 sara swords, 1 steam staff, and 2 zamorak spears.

I'm assuming Greens and Reds are the same. Elvarg may be different, but I'm not sure. Can anyone confirm if Elvarg "spits" fire? Actually, it's kinda fun to watch ppl freak out when he hits an 11 on them (fyi, that's the highest npc damage in f2p). perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is anotherAMEN!
February 16, 200719 yr For God's sake, Elvarg is a SHE I'm not sure if it's possible to kill her without the shield... I've seen a lv 4 complete it with a crossbow+shield; don't know if it would work without the shield... You could mage pray too(at least that works against the KBD), or drink anti pots... And probably with lots of food and a high def level it could work.. but why bother trying. Just try, go there; find a safe spot and range without a shield... The dragon uses long range fire breaths, so ranging or maging it isn't recommended, at least without wearing the anti dragon firebreath shield. February 16, 200719 yr For God's sake, Elvarg is a SHE And hot... :P Sorry, had to make the obvious joke. Anyway, I'm 100% certain it is possible without the anti-dragon shield. You just need 99 hitpoints, and lots of food. But relatively speaking, you'd have to be either an idiot or extremely brave to fight her without the shield. I did Dragon Slayer recently, and she's hard enough with the shield (I know I said that 'it was easier than I thought,' but really I overestimated her strength. Nonetheless, she'll easily kill you if you don't watch your health). As for the lowest level to ever face Elvarg, I'm sure a Level 3 has probably done it. If that's true, they must have been one very good player. Nope. I've tried. Actually, it's kinda fun to watch ppl freak out when he hits an 11 on them (fyi, that's the highest npc damage in f2p). Erm, I thought she hit a maximum of 43 without the shield (or does that not really count?).

I tried ranging him from behind one of the ruins. died in 10 seconds. :cry:

Unless they changed it within the last few months, your prayer doesn't get drained.
