ValaraZ Posted February 18, 2007 Share Posted February 18, 2007 Earlier today i was happily doing treasure trails and such, you know, spending time with friends online when i got this idea to sell a party hat, trade it to a lower one and get some money to use on skills. So i go looking for a buyer for a red party hat, got a few offers through a friend, the offer was green party hat (which i like alot) and 25m-27m cash. So i thought about it too long and the deal went by, this happens alot to me. :D I know i'm too carefull about deals in fear of being scammed plus i don't know the party hat market well enough. So the search continues and i get an offer of blue hat plus 5m coins, well 4999k :P so i accept it and leave the blue hat to a trusted friend to resell it and buy me a green hat and red hat. EDIT: This trade was done in 2 reds for blue and 5m. But what happens when i get back in? The rare market has crashed. Blue party hats are now on 335m and i hear santas are being sold at roughly 15m with green masks at 17m. I know what you're thinking, i am thinking about it too, has someone discovered how to dupe again? So todays loss was in total of grand sum: alot. 100m if you include the smaller rares. Yay. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. Yes earlier today the party hats were as follows: Blue 415-430 red 205m or so Now, reds go for 180m and blues go for less than 350m. If I were you, I'd sell all armor and raw materials in w2, then quickly buy 2 or 3 santas. You should calculate it out (santas are like 12mil now?) so you don't have any left over money. Since I think it just started, try to keep some raw materials and guthan, dharok, or verac parts (rune might also work) and sell for more than they'd usually be (panicked phat owners will try to get raw materials and barrows). jonno53 Posted February 18, 2007 Share Posted February 18, 2007 i was curios bout this too. few weeks ago i traded my 2nd santa for a green and some cash, fair enough... but now i wanna sell greenie for guthans and 11m and it seems that rares have dropped considerably, so dang goes my barrows plan -.- also seems that normal items have gone up which is odd... guthans is going over 10m at times ppots are going at 7.5k min (used to be 6.5kmin) deaths are peaking 350ea, and other barrows supplies (that what i been mainly buyin) have gone up. whats going on!? this is all fake no one is selling a green below 20m ive seen greens go as low as 17m buyers and 18m sellers, santas about 19m sellers (w2) killing off the TET, one newb at a time :^_^:im cutting back on rs now due to rl issues (college), my sig stats havent been updated in a while...
