Santas were not 22M 3 days ago either. This drop happened much more steadily, Santas have slowly dropped from 22M around 2 weeks ago to approximately 20M today.

 

 

 

Blues are selling for as low as 370m, thats an 80m drop, if you didnt spend all your time illigally selling mils on [Censored] you would be able to pay more attention to the market.

 

 

 

Santas were 26m in december, now they are 20m, couseing me a net loss of about 120m.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you actually kept track of the prices, then you would be able to know what you are talking about. Prices of santa's during december were around 23-24mil. And I see enough offers for blue phats on the official forums to say that their price is not 370mil and probably more towards 385-390mil at the moment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rares did loose some ground over the past 6 months though. Their prices have probably mainly been unstable due to updates in the game.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rares most recently peaked in late September/early October (Santas were 29 million, Christmas crackers hit 1 billion, etc.).

Like i said when i was asked this earlier i had 2 reds traded for blue and 5m. It was after that trade that i found out the real value of blues.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To a player such as yourself who has alot of money that might not be a big deal, but to me it was alot. I don't merchant, i hogged the hats way back and just never sold.

Jagex have been screwing us all around with rares, and thats not our fault but theirs. They allowed them to be exploited and did nothing to prevent it early on. Now they are making it out to be our fault by punishing those who have rares by halting their investibility on a smaller scale. They should either deal with the situation (like make all rares untradable - i don't support that in anyway) which they won't do because of the amount of annoyed players. Or they should allow rares to do whatever they wish.

I reckon that because of the crash a lot of people will go out and buy rares and take advatnage of the market therefore eventually prices will go back up, seems to happen a lot in the rare market :

Duke never said that i did, and yes crackers were 1 billion for a month or so, i sold 2 myself for 975m and 968m respectivly.
