Ok...idc wats going on...i dont own any rares..but i can infer this....if this is all just a rumor(and it most likely is..)supply is higher than demand bcuz of the panic...sooo once demand becomes higher than supply no matter how many there is...prices will jump back up..and if not at least lock..soo wat i recomend is that not only to help yourself and not lose cash..but to insure the

Party hat prices are stagnating, this is because the p hats can only sustain a price rise as long as there is new money and buyers coming in from the bottom, from the lower price rares.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At the moment there is a 100mil gap between a red mask and a purple p hat, this gap is too big and people arn't making new money once they reach a red mask.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This has caused p hat prices to stall and more recently a price drop has occured. This price drop has created a feel of pecimism around rare owners, which will inturn intail a price drop - sort of a self fulfilling prophecy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What will likely happen is prices will drop until they reach a comfortable level, then we will see the prices rise but with masks rising quicker closing the gap between them and p hats.

Wow this is a stupid post. First of all, no one traded you a Blue Party Hat + 5M for your Red. If they did, they were the biggest IDIOT in the world. You then claim that you're so upset about Blues falling in price, even though this fake value you give (335M) is still 135M higher than you'd ever get for a Red. All up i lost close to a billion off the prices lowering, thats a crash to me.

The trend changed with the October 18th release of skill capes. Since then, prices have been steadily dropping as folks have been selling rares to get resources for 99 in as many skills as they can afford.

There is a certain amount of logic that says: as more people play runescape, and the number of rares stays constant/decreases (as cheaters are caught with rares still in inventory), the price of rares will rise. Runescapers, after all, add wealth to the Runescape economy. The more players, the longer they play, the more wealth those players add.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, one never knows what update Jagex will release that may impact the price of rares.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Skillcapes and more treasure trail items, for instance, have decreased the desirability of rares. Now chinchompas have been found to get a person uber fast and easy range XP, causing many to sell a Santa Hat or Mask to get them to 99 quickly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Who knows if a bunch of third age weaponry will be released three months down the road.

Guess what else? I just bought 200m coal at 200gp each, the price of coal dropped by 3 gp, so I just lost 600m, OMFG ITS LI3K T3H CR@SH!!!!!!!!
