February 21, 200719 yr Ok, I played this game for on and off(mostly off :wink: ), for 2 years. And I have noticed all the problems with it, and why runescape is better. 1#. Neopoints. They are the currency. They aren't easy to make, and everything costs a butt load of them. With Runescape and the gold coin, they are easy to make, and most needed items only cost about 1000 of them each(ie, food). 2#. Stupid Idiot spammers on forums. There are a lot of these on the neo boards. So, what does TNT(The Neopets Team) do? Make a player-to-player monitoring system. Real smart. It failed. Jagex made something like that, but they also made FORUM MODS. 3#. Wars. Yes, they have made a lot of them. Wow, for wars, there sure is a small number of casualties. With the God Wars in Runescape, there were many casualties. 4#. Paintbrushes. Yes, nearly everyone wants them. But, the CHEAPEST one is 50,000 neopoints. That takes A LOT of time to earn. It is a lot harder to earn cash than it is on Runescape. To change your appearance on Runescape, voila. Put on different clothes. 5#. Freaking' inflation! The inflation in Neopets is even worse than it is in Runescape. Lets see, an apple on neopets costs about 500 neopoints. On runescape, apples are about 10 gold coins. Jagex tried to stop inflation, and it is working. The Neopets Team has so far, in 8 years of business, done NOTHING to stop inflation. That is my 2 cents on why Runescape>Neopets. Enjoy. February 21, 200719 yr OK, you can't really relate the two games together. :? Haha, when I played I just used cheats to make money. Set up 20 accounts, get a Money Tree grabber and some Game players, make 500,000NP a day whilst doing nothing. :lol:

February 23, 200719 yr You basically had no valid points other than the fact that it's hard to make neopoints and it costs a lot of neopoints to buy certain things. I think you have the wrong idea about inflation and other things like that. Also something that I didn't like about it when I used to play a few years ago is training your neopet was dumb. You pay a large price for a certain item then you have to wait a few to many many hours for the training to be complete. All you get from it is one measly level (in most cases) which is barely even noticable. It's pretty much a pointless game unless you're a little kid or a girl and you want to play a cutsie game. February 23, 200719 yr i played neopets like 6 or 7 years ago and loved it... then my account was banned because of forgetting some $s in my shop and trying to fix it quick [argh.... people try to scam like that] so i fell apart and saw that alombar67 [ but the big thing here... a virtual pet game is virtually uncomparable to a 3d stat building MMORPG... :?
February 27, 200719 yr first, there should be a poll second, the two can't be compared, when I played neopets( that was before I heard about RuneScape of course) I found 10 paintbrushes (like random events) in my first week, so now I have several houndred thousand neopoints but its just too boring to eep playing

March 10, 200719 yr Yes i agree with the first point. There really isn't much good ways to earn np except playing the games. Worse is 1 shot at the game will only give 1k np max and playing the games repeatively and intensively bores me out really fast Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

Just like WoW players are completely set against RS. nNSo i just settle for sayinng they are all games of different genres and purposes, imcomparible: I wish everyone might say that. NO point flamin different games for being different ayway. Yeah...Some people just go out of their way to ruin other peoples fun.Sounds like Jagex to me...
March 19, 200719 yr Well neopets seems more like a little kids game and i tried it when i was like 9, and it is still the worst game i have ever seen. I mean, if you don't feed your neopet, it runs away. And it costs way to much to do anything, you like need to get a higher score every time in the games to actually make the neopoints.
