We went to world 6 CW for two games - we slaughtered Sara for the first game but the second game was a tie. In the second game, it was basically Zombs and I vs. a dozen lvl-120+'s in Ahrims barraging. Unsurprisingly, the high lvls were twits and never thought to come get our flag. Instead they all just camped around their own flag - and surprisingly let it slip a few times. After eating breakfast, a person from the PK'ing team I recently joined (Tainted Arrows) logged on. I had previously entered an elimination tournament and he was my first opponent. http://www.rs-wildy.com//files/813/Deathmatch.wmv My next opponent will either be Snap--Shot or Exile 35, depending on who wins. Saber asked me to go to DK with him. I didn't have any death runes left after CW'ing with Zombs and I only had like 150k in the bank (paid 200k to enter the tournament). I bought as many death runes as I could and ended up needing 400 more to go to DK. I gave Saber 200 blood runes for 400 death runes and we were off =D Our trip was probably one of the most successful trips I had ever been on. Saber went and killed Supreme as I killed Rex. We both met in the middle and killed Prime for a seers ring =) We split up again and he killed Supreme - archers ring. I killed Rex - clue scroll. We met up and killed Prime again - nothing special. We did a few more rounds and raked in a seercull, warrior ring, and a dragon spear. About halfway through our trip, Saber's bow died and turned into a seed. We later found out that was because he withdrew the wrong bow (German world - all items look alike >_>). Not long after, the system update message popped up and we were forced to leave. D'oh! We split all the drops and both made about 1M each. Hyne logged on and made me an onyx amulet so I enchanted it and sold the fury for 4.8M - hooray I'm not poor anymore! I wanted to go back to DK's so I got Hyne, Cloud, and Priest to go. Hyne and I killed Rex and Prime while Cloud and Priest killed Supreme and Prime. It was a bad day to be a dagannoth. We were able to stay for a very long time, though we didn't get very many drops. Notable drops were two mud staffs and a warrior ring. We got the second mud staff a while after Priest left so we split it three ways. We split everything else four ways. I bought one of the mud staffs.[/hide] [hide=Mar. 28, 2007]Uh oh. World 22 is gone. Time to go back to skilling. A long-term goal I started a while ago was to have every skill above level 70. Only had slayer, thieving, hunter, and prayer left to go. I was close to 70 slayer so I started off by doing tasks. First task was dust devils - hooray maybe a much-needed dragon chain. I finished the task and didn't get a chain =\ Next task was steel dragons - burthorped for bats. After killing the bats I got bloodvelds. Huzzah! Hyne came with me to kill bloodvelds. In the middle of slaying, my friend PM'd me from a German world telling me that the glitchy prayers seemed better in the German world. So, Hyne and I went to the German world but the prayers were still as glitchy. In the middle of my task, I finally achieved my goal =) I'll probably keep slaying soon. I'm almost 99 hp but I want to get that via PC since it'd be so much faster. If I ever decide I want to be a maxed tank (excluding 99 prayer) I'll probably get 99 defence via slayer like Cloud is doing. But until then, no slayer for me for a while =p Hyne and I did the new quest afterwards - the ring will help me for PK'ing since recoils aren't very useful for my PK'ing style. Went thieving for pretty much the rest of the night with Hyne to get 70. Only had two levels to go and Pyramid Plunder isn't as repetitive or boring as pickpocketing. Hyne went to bed afterwards and I went to do Tears now that I've got the max number of QP again. "Your time in the cave is up." - my as s! Look at the time left I had! I got hunter XP from Tears. Gonna get 70 hunter soon and sell the red chinchompas before everybody realizes that the red chinchompas only hit nine targets max instead of unlimited >_> After 70 hunter I won't get 70 prayer until I get the zombie dance emote. I don't want my prayer higher than 70 for a while - but if I started trying to get the zombie dance again after 70 prayer I'd probably end up with 71+ prayer =\[/hide] [hide=Mar. 27, 2007]Started the day by staking a little. Made a profit finally =) Nothing considerable, though. Went PK'ing for a while - my bad luck plaguing me this week struck me again. A mute maxed hybrid asked me to fight (via emotes =p). I accepted, but he managed to kill me before I could prepare. My Ahrims gear has almost zero range defence so I died pretty fast - didn't bother eating cuz I was focused on luring him to the safespot. At least he sold me my hood back. Seemed like a nice guy. I went staking afterwards and did well. Total profit: 770k gp, 10k pure essence, 10 amulets of glory I've won more glories and pure essence staking this week than ever before - maybe it's a sign I should train to 91 runecrafting. Nah. I went to Trojann's 99 hp party afterwards, got a few good drops. Afterwards Priest escorted me to the DKs to solo. I arrived at the DKs and the world was occupied - by Choppermad. I was amazed at how bad Choppermad was at DK'ing >_> He was killing Prime and Rex only - using Karils crossbow on Prime and using ice barrage/ice blitz on Rex. I imagine he'd actually lose money with that method, regardless of the drops he gets. I managed to get a kill via slayer dart against Choppermad's ice blitz somehow - warrior ring =) Supreme inevitably found Choppermad and he/she went up the ladder and never returned. The only decent drop I got afterwards was a half of a key. I went to world 2 to sell my junk and made around 1M from selling things, which I spent on 10k chaos runes to get me 90k tokkul to buy an onyx. Decided to go staking again, lost every stake - again to people with shi tty stats. Only lost 1.5M, though. Doesn't bother me cuz I've got 7M now from the onyx and from the 2M I gave to Hyne to hold for me in case of an emergency. I started contemplating selling some of my "collections." I collect super-poisoned dragon daggers and amulets of glory. I didn't realize till now that glories are only like 50k each =\ I thought they were 80k. Oh well, I've got 135 glories and like 50 daggers. I might sell the daggers eventually but I like my glories. Plus the daggers symbolize the meleer's I've PK'd =p[/hide] [hide=Mar. 26, 2007]I have an upcoming fight in the tournament of my PK'ing team. Water Shadow and I went to the wilderness so I could practice my tactics in death-matches. He wanted to go to the barrows afterwards so I did one run with him - we both got junk. I came back a bit later and went KQ'ing with Hyne and Priest - no luck there either. Went to world 2 afterwards to buy snapdragon and ranarr seeds - took forever as people would only sell me like 1 seed per trade. I hung out with Hyne afterwards until she went to bed. I was bored so I went crocodile hunting =) Bought some runes afterwards and went staking. I won pretty much every stake and ended up at 4M, almost cleaning this one guy. But then suddenly, I experience some more of this cursed bad luck which has been plaguing me all week. I lose every stake from here on. Maybe I need my combat warm-up. I don't know. Maybe he is one of the very few people who know the superhuman bug. Doubt it, but it'd explain how he managed to kill me from 20hp when I had 70hp almost every stake. Total loss: ~10M gp. Again. Getting cleaned wouldn't bother me as much if the cleaner wasn't such an as shole. When I offered to stake him again he just said "ty muggie" and logged - the guy who cleaned me the other night said the same thing. Would it kill them to say, "no thanks I'm done?" My faith and interest continues to wane. The wilderness, the KQ, the duel arena, and the DKs are full of disrespectful, illegitimate players. The dishonest players are the ones who make all the money. Moreover, reporting them does nothing. Hmph. Makes me wonder what would have happened if I had abused the D-Spear bug to win billions like so many others instead of just warning others about it. Oh well. Maybe I should take up luring or establish an illegal fire cape business. Nah.[/hide] [hide=Mar. 25, 2007]Busy in rl most of the day today, but I got on for a while to hang out with Hyne. We farmed and collected white berries and stuff, then she went to bed. I went back to work in rl and came back on a while later before I went to bed to go PK'ing. I PK'd with my "survivor" tactics, but most servers were dead at this hour so I went to world 22 and found someone to fight. Typical melee noob - unable to multi-task in combat but able to flame. Went to world 18 next - the usual happened. Ended up getting piled 1v4 when I used my Ahrims and PJ'd when I used range. This trip served as a reminder as to why I quit visiting worlds 18 & 22 and why I tried to quit being a killer. The DDS is rigged too. It was cool hitting my max ice blitz-shadow barrage combo for the first time - on vid too (26-28) before the guy tele'd. It was f2p but it was still fun. I didn't get any kills but Cloud got a rune scimitar =p I went to BA with Hyne, Sage, Soultar, and Ecliptic for one set of games. I got enough points for a second pair of penance gloves for a placeholder only to realize that I can only have one pair of gloves at a time =\ Oh well, now I'm lvl 2 in each role at least. Today was my friend's birthday so he asked Hyne and I to go to CW with him. Hyne left after the game. http://www.rs-wildy.com//files/813/blog%20cw.wmv My old friend signed on and told me to meet him. In the past, he had scammed me 17M (I gave him my fight caves equipment but he kept it) and he still hadn't paid me back. He said he was quitting RS so he gave me all that he had to pay me back until he makes more money. I wasn't very tired so I thought I'd DK solo to make some money hopefully. Cloud was kind enough to accompany me into their lair. A while after he left, two lurers showed up. I went up the ladder - they followed me. One of them claimed they were just suiciding for a friend. Bull. I hopped to another crowded world. I was finally able to get out of Sup's vision (Sup kept finding me whenever I went down the ladder). I had to kill Prime before I could go kill Rex because Prime spotted me. I finally kill Prime and make my way to rex - but what's this? This world's already occupied! About five minutes after sharing the world with these two people, the same lurers from before show up again - and they kill the two mages! I didn't notice any of them died until I saw a huge pile across from me. So much for a free spear and helm. A little while later, another guy shows up. Though, he is kind enough to hop after realize I'm occupying the world. But before he hops... Hooray! A profit! A short while after I got the axe, another team of lurers come in. I'm not in the mood to deal with them or find another world so I just tele out so I can sell my axe. I get into world 2 very easily and sell my axe. I decided to sell my other dragon axe too because I figured I wouldn't be using it anymore. I reached my goal of 70 woodcutting (trying to get 70+ in all skills) and won't be woodcutting for a while. Besides, it's not much better than the rune axe. Also sold the extra set of Ahrims I won staking. I realized I didn't really need a placeholder for barrows, especially when I needed the money. [/hide] [hide=Mar. 23, 2007]Karma got membership back today. I was really excited to play on Karma as a member, but today once I had membership - I realized there was nothing I wanted to do. My dream was to have him as a PK'er to kill all of the RC PK'ers who crossed paths with me. My other achievements on Karma like the fire cape record were unplanned until I realized I had the stats to do it. I don't know what to do with Karma now. I feel like any training I do on it will be in vain because of the current state of the wilderness, which I will elaborate more on later. I will try to record the completion of the Fight Caves w/o defence on Karma before membership expires. Though, I'm still a little discouraged after getting killed by Jad three times in a row ever since that ugly prayer glitch reared its filthy head. As for mugg, it was a rough day today. Went PK'ing for a while, I think I'm done with PK'ing temporarily. The first few people I attacked just range prayed and ran away - either permanently or to inanely pot. Those who stayed kept shouting "no smite or I run!" Fine with me, less wasted supplies. The wilderness is sh it as it stands now. My favorite place to PK is Edge - however 90% of the people in Edge are NH (No-Honor) PK'ers. If you try fighting to give yourself the maximum advantage, they throw a tantrum and run away, tele, call friends, etc. I have PK'd two whips in my PK'ing career (both mentioned in this blog). It is sad how both of my victims dropped their whips before they died. If they were unprepared to lose their whip, they shouldn't have brought it into the wilderness in the first place. Back in the day, I saw a PK video of a guy who killed green drag trainers and I idolized him. His name was Howatt3431 and he inspired me to start training magic. I was only 58 magic at the time, but I slowly made my way to 82, then to 85, then to 90, then to 94, and finally 99. It feels like such wasted talent of mine since now if I use my magic to my advantage, I get called a "farcaster." I'm not going to elaborate on the many faults in that term - it's pretty self-explanatory. Anyways. If you go above Edge to PK, you'll only find NH teams (Pixel Pirates, Tha Inforcerz, etc). I wouldn't mind that at all if they actually PK'd fairly. I shouldn't have to have a team of 30 people accompanying me if I want to PK north of Edge. Same goes for MB pretty much. I PK'd there for a little bit for fun - and it was fun until the lvl 120 I was beating up called a team of 10 people in Ahrims to come get me. Seemed unnecessary, but I guess he needed my dhides. I'm done with PK'ing as a "killer" for now. When you enter the wild, you're either a killer or a survivor. My stats are made for surviving, so I will go back to being a survivor. If I feel the need to PK, I'll go back to using my classic Ahrims style of PK'ing and toy around with the PK'ers like I used to. Thanks Neo for teaching me almost secret tactic and survival/killing technique I know today. I gave Priest my Torags helm to hold onto until I'm ready to go kill again. Until then, I'll have to think of something else to do for fun. I only play RS nowadays to be with Hyne, since the game keeps getting more and more boring as well as more and more disappointing. My favorite thing to do is take advantage of my high magic and use it whenever I can. Though, the runes needed to fuel my magic cost a ton. Hence, the staking. I went staking today to pay for supplies which I needed badly (potions, arrows, sets of dhide, etc). I started out doing very well. I was up like 2.7M at one point. The person I was winning my money off of was someone whom Dc and I had previously fought. He is a bug abuser and X-logs whenever he is losing, resulting in a draw. Though, he never X-logged tonight. I was about to clean him, when he put up 12k nats. I put up 3.6M and lost. Next stake was for 1M. I lost. Next stake was for 2M. I lost. Sh it. I'm down 4M or so again. I leave the arena for a while to cool off and hang out with Hyne. I return a while later to win my money back hopefully. I start fighting the bug abuser again. He beats me up again. I set the rules to no movement to give me a bigger advantage. I clean him up to the point where he's down to staking his 12k nats again. I accept and lose. I win the next one and we stake for the nats yet again, and I lose. Then I lose, and lose, and lose. After that, I lose. Followed by more losing. I gave up on that guy, he had enough of my money. I staked some guy and won full Ahrims w/o staff off of him. It was nice, but I was still way down. I was careless and misread the second duel screen and it resulted in me melee boxing him. He had 10 combat levels on me too. I asked him if he would refund me after the match, he said he would. Good to see that someone here has a conscience. He wins the duel and so I go to find him to collect my "refund." He is nowhere to be found. Go figure. I see him a while later and he ignores me and runs away again. If he had simply said "no, you should have read the second duel screen" when I asked him for a refund, I would have been fine. But the fact that he told me he would refund me and then blew me off pis ses me off. Still at rock bottom, with the "clean or get cleaned" motto in the back of my head, I find a guy willing to do a small 500k stake with me. He only has 92 mage - easy win. I wish. He lit me up and that threw me over the edge. Enough is enough, I'm tired of dealing with these people and my terrible luck... for now. Total loss: ~10M gp[/hide] [hide=Mar. 22, 2007]I had the urge to go play in CW so I tried playing a game of CW - took forever finding a decent world. The game wasn't very fun or interesting so I deleted the recording I had of it. I had plans in RL so I signed off for a while. I came back on later and Water Shadow asked me if I wanted to go to CW or barrows with him. CW sounded like fun again, but I needed more runes so I went to go hop for some more. It was 2v1, and I still managed to kick their as ses without my PK'ing gear (even though my rune-purchasing gear prepares me for tough fights). I had some of my best snapshots I've ever had during the fight. One of the guys was wearing mystic and he would tag in occasionally to fail to tangle/tb me. Of the many times he tagged me, I was able to unload two powerful snapshots (40+ damage) on him. Though, lucky for him, his buddy would thaw out before I could finish the job. I had most of the runes that I needed. I came back with my PK'ing gear to fight them. One of them was still there so I beat him up =p At one point he was down to 10% HP so I shot a snapshot off at him - it hit 0-0. He nearly choked on his food as he ran away with arrows in his back. I went to CW with Water Shadow and we won pretty easily. I left after the game and came back a while later. I had enough runes to go staking, fortunately. I didn't feel like doing my warm-up again so I went straight to the arena. Nobody offered to stake me. I realized after I was done staking that my trade/challenge preferences had been set to Friends because some noob in CW was trying to buy my whip (he didn't even have 70 attack). I find a guy asking me if I'll stake mage vs. range. I accept but he won't allow shields-on. While he runs to the bank to get his prayer book, I see someone saying, "Clean me! 200k!" I challenge him and fulfill his order =) By now the ranger is prepared to stake me so we fight. Apparently I cleaned him too >_> After standing in the arena for what seemed like an hour, I finally find someone willing to stake me - Runemage271. I was anxious to implement my new technique Fancy taught me. Oddly enough, throughout our fights I never needed to use the technique. We went back and forth, only doing 500k stakes (I only brought 1M to stake with - I didn't feel like losing any more). I had to go soon so I told him I'd do one more. He puts all he's got into the stake and I relinquish it =p Total profit: 1.55M gp, 2 Amulets of glory, 1k pure essence, 2k water runes, 200 death runes, 1k blood runes I came back on with the urge to go PK'ing on vid, so I did with my last remaining supplies. I couldn't believe the PK'ers I fought. The first guy I attacked prayed range and ran outside of the wild to pot. When he was trying to escape, another PK'er attacked me and then ran away when I attacked back. The tagger came back to fight me and I beat him up. He tele'd as soon as he was in hot water. Now I need to go farm. Hyne signed on so we explored the new city. We'll have to start making orbs to try KQ'ing from that alternate entrance. The agility course was decent but I didn't have a grapple with me. Seems sort of complicated compared to all of the other courses. Either way, Ape Atoll's agility course is more fun and the scenery is cooler. I got on late and Hyne was on so we played a game of CW before she had to go. I recorded the entire match but the video didn't save =([/hide] [hide=Mar. 20, 2007]I started out by going to world 2 to sell some of my junk as well as buy some things I need. I managed to buy and sell almost everything pretty fast =) Water Shadow was asking me about ranging in the barrows. I told him I'd go range with him in the barrows, despite the fact that he had never gotten a barrows drop in all of his previous trips. Well, apparently I'm good luck cuz he got his first item, Verac's helm, on like the third or fourth run =) Two runs later, he got Karil's crossbow =) Hyne logged on in the middle of one of our trips. Hyne, Shadow, and I went to the KQ and did a few runs. We didn't get anything good - we all ranged her and killed her very easily =) I got on a while later and went to the Fight Pits - as a pure for challenge =p That's fine and all, but after you win one round, it becomes everybody working as a team to kill you =\ I went to the pyramid, activated ancients, strapped on my barrows, and returned to the Pits. I did well beating everybody up until the next round it became everybody against me again. I pretty much spent two minutes running laps around the arena, freezing people. After a while I quit running around to blood barrage them. I survived for a while until everybody thawed out. I called Ecliptic over to help me out, we won every round after he showed up and made everybody quit playing. I went to bed afterwards.[/hide] [hide=Mar. 19, 2007]Had the urge to go staking. I was low on death runes and was too lazy to go buy any more or do my warm-up. He taught me another staking technique which I'll have to practice in the future before I stake again. My friend, Sanderson, told me he had a ton of herbs and asked if I was interested. I bought a ton of herbs from him - I really needed them. After that, another friend, Ecliptic, told me he was messing around at MB so I decided to tag along because I was bored. Didn't get to stay there very long cuz I went to dinner not long after. Hyne was supposed to come back tonight I think, but I haven't seen her yet. Hopefully I'll get to see her tomorrow =\[/hide] [hide=Mar. 18, 2007]Started the day doing Pyramid Plunder. Got 68 thieving from it. After hopping for runes, I went to the Fight Pits in world 22 with Cloud to prepare to go staking. The warm-up went very well. We had no luck finding anybody (other than a massive PK'ing team). I taught him two of my secret PK'ing tactics before he left. I went to PC for a while then quit playing. Came back a while later to go PK. I came across someone whom I hate - darkoxs333. We had fought in the past, I killed him once, he killed me once, I made him tele every time thereafter. I attacked him to settle the score. He ran as I was out of food so I intercepted him with barrage. Bang. My second whip PK ... I wish. He dropped his whip, as well as his rune legs, dds, and berserker helm. He ran back in Karils and grabbed it before I could pick it up (I stood no chance, there were five wannabe pures standing on his pile). As if that weren't enough, he went out of his way to flame me at the bank. I went back out and fought his friend. I ran when I ran out of food and my prayer ran out one second before I died. I asked him if he would sell me my helm back, he wouldn't sell my helm back and told me to never mess with him again. I reminded him that I never messed with him in the first place and that he simply had a chip on his shoulder. He sold me my helm back. I went back out and he asked me to fight again, I accepted. He managed to KO me just as my prayer ran out - again. Though, this time I decided to try wearing my other helm. At the bank, he asked me to fight him again, I accepted. I went into the wild and I never saw him again.[/hide] [hide=Mar. 16, 2007]Didn't do too much today. Went PK'ing for a little bit when I got home before dinner. I found one of the NH PK'ers whom prevented me from getting a kill (see Mar. 7, 2007). She (now a girl, was a guy) prayed against me the entire fight while shouting "no smite!" Wuss. Anyways, they ran off and didn't return. Went to the KQ with Cloud and Priest for a while, no luck. We left after Priest got bored. I went to PC for a while after to get 100 points to cash in on HP. Quit PC'ing at around 40 points to go PK'ing with vengeance. Cloud asked to DM me, I had a good special to KO him with =p Priest asked to DM me next, he killed me with 0 food left =p Won a fight a little while later. I respect the guy for not running or tele'ing. I had a nice combo to kill him with, even though he was out of food. He had four damage splotches on him =p Went to bed afterwards.[/hide] [hide=Mar. 15, 2007]Didn't do anything on RS today. I will send in a check tomorrow to renew Karma's membership =)[/hide] [hide=Mar. 14, 2007]Didn't play much today since Hyne was gone. I saw a staking video which made me feel like staking, so I did. I hopped over to world 22 and did my usual warm-up in Fight Pits and CW. I brought 4M to go staking with. After a few stakes, I broke even. Then I won 1.3M and an obsidian shield. The guy wanted me to clean him for ~5M gp so I went and withdrew 800k from the bank for the clean. He rule-switched on me, so I declined and he wouldn't offer to stake me anymore after that =\ Another guy was willing to stake me but I had really bad luck against him. Despite his low magic level, I splashed incredibly often. Lost all the money I brought to stake with =\ Oh well, I'll win it back this weekend. Total loss: 4.5M gp[/hide] [hide=Mar. 13, 2007]Started playing that Trekking mini-game, it was fun for a while but then I got sick of it because the stupid NPCs I had to escort would wander off into danger instead of staying put. I wanted the lumberjack clothes but after reading a topic on Tip.It today I've found that they are not worth it. Oh well, I'll come back and get them for my costume room eventually. I found out Hyne had to leave for about a week, so I won't be on much this week. RS is boring w/o her to be honest.[/hide] [hide=Mar. 12, 2007]Started the day low on all kinds of consumable supplies (potions, runes, etc) so I went staking to make some quick money. Went to the Fight Pits in world 22 to start my warm-up. There was lots of tough competition. I won the match but went to CW afterwards since I knew I'd get killed instantly next round for winning. After finishing my warm-up, I headed out to the Duel Arena. Things started out well. Next stake was for 3k raw sharks - the guy was almost dead but he managed to X-log and the duel was a draw. I got to fight him again - this time he didn't get the opportunity to X-log =) Total profit: 1.143M gp, 3k raw sharks I figured that was enough for the day so I left. I had heard about people selling their Pyramid Plunder junk to the nearby store, so I went to check it out. Lucky for me, I hit the jackpot and got a lifetime supply of scepter charges =) Hyne and I went to DK with Trojann and Cloud afterwards. Cloud and Trojann did well, but Hyne and I only got a seers ring. It was our first time ranging in a long time - I remembered why I quit ranging. I went to Barbarian Assault again afterwards with the same people as last time. I just saved up so I could buy another pair of penance gloves for the bank - still don't have enough points, need a few more defender points. Everybody left afterwards.[/hide] [hide=Mar. 11, 2007]Started today by buying runes for Fight Caves =) Decided to try the w/o defence method in the caves for the first time on muggi - in German =O After getting all the runes I needed, I hopped to the German worlds and went in =) Before: After: Video: http://www.rs-wildy.com//files/813/German%20Jad.wmv When I came back on RS, I was still in TzHaar and a guy in the bank asked me if I would help him in the pits. I told him I would. Pretty much it turned into everybody against me, including the guy who asked for my help in the first place. I lost that round, but won every round afterwards cuz I went and grabbed my barrows gear =) Hyne came and played with me and we continued to win. Afterwards, we got a team together and went to Barbarian Assault. Trojann and Sage played with us for a while but then they left and after a short break, Hyne and I played with Cdub, Cloud, and Soultar. They kept cracking me up the entire time - funnest games of BA ever =D Then I could finally afford gloves I wanted =) And after those waves, I could finally afford my torso =) Everybody went to bed but me after that. I didn't have school the next day and I wasn't tired because of Daylight Savings Time. So, I decided to go Howatt-Style and PK the autoers =) I still ran into a few teams - had to teleport away like a baby =p Oh well, I don't feel bad. It's not like I was there with the intent of actually "PK'ing." I think one of the autoers became friends with me... He was following me around watching me kill the other autoers and kept giving me his bones >_> And now for the kill that began the war: First "good" kill off an autoer haha. I tried attacking someone else after that one - but instead of running the autoer started killing me >_> by the time the autoer was almost dead, the autoer I just killed for the berserker helm had returned. And they were both teaming me 2v1. They weren't autoers - they were gold farmers! On my way back up, I met a nice guy around my level. We added each other and agreed to help each other kill these gold farmers. He killed the one who had the berserker helm and I made the other one teleport away (I guess teleblock wore off). When they came back yet again and started talking trash, it was further proof that they might be gold farmers >_> I called up my friend to come with us to go kill these guys - we got into our pure clothes again (recurring theme this week, apparently) They grew "hate" for us. Gold farmers have emotions too. It was me and my two buddies against their crew of flunkies. After that last fight, I was at 21hp and I got PJ'd by a high level gold farmer - he hit a 20 on me and I got ejected via ring of life. Now I remember why I hate rings of life >=@ I came back to kill that piggly son of a bi tch with my REAL PK'ing gear since he had a skull now and I succeeded, and I got bloody satisfaction >=) Right after I killed that guy, we noticed one of the farmers was skulled from PJ'ing - and she had a whip too! But too late - we didn't TB fast enough and she tele'd away. Noooo! After killing several more farmers, I went to bed. What an entertaining night. Wonder how many farmers were fired because of me >_>[/hide] [hide=Mar. 10, 2007]I went to the barrows with Hyne - she taught me how to do it all with range. It was cheaper and faster than using ancients =) Did around ten runs with no success - just runes, racks, and money. We went to Barbarian Assault afterwards. People who played with me and Hyne were Cloud, Sage, Dlb, and Wakka. A person left later so we had Zombs come to fill in, but some more people left after he arrived because I was busy rendezvousing with a friend. We were sick of Barbarian Assault anyways so Hyne, Zombs, Cdub, and I all went to that thieving minigame with the four seasons. It was lots of fun and easy herbs - Hyne managed to trap one of the elementals somehow =S Hyne went to bed a while afterwards so Zombs, Cdub, and I were trying to think of something fun to do. We finally agreed that we would go PK as pures =D We wandered around the wilderness without finding anybody - then we stumbled across a swarm of green dragon autoers. We spent the next hour massacring the autoers - so many adamant large helms =) I killed one of the drags which was attacking me - loop half =D A small PK'ing team came through so we had to leave - we could have taken them if we were in proper PK'ing attire =\ We went back out in real PK'ing gear and slaughtered some more autoers - this time Cloud came with us. Another PK'ing team ran by - this one was much bigger, so we had to retreat. It sure is annoying when you're this | | close from KO'ing someone and then someone from their team comes in and attacks you =\[/hide] [hide=Mar. 9, 2007]Didn't play much today. Started by hopping for runes - got attacked by two crazy PK'ers. Went to the fight pits afterwards - won a round with 22 opponents and got ~2k tokkul =)[/hide] [hide=Mar. 8, 2007]Busy in rl today. Got on for an hour or so to hang out with Hyne - we went to the Chaos Elemental. There were two random low-lvls fighting it with us, and they kept dying and returning, so their food helped us stay longer =) We got in like seven or eight kills. [/hide] [hide=Mar. 7, 2007]I started today off by buying more runes in the wild - I was low on deaths. Hopping for runes is very boring - and frustrating at times cuz people think I'm a RC PK'er and dis me. Fortunately for me, a RC PKer showed up and tried to kill me =) I was hitting better than usual with range - lots of 24's, though he ran not long after. He came back before I hopped again and I shooed him off one more time. I started PK'ing afterwards. I lost the first fight unfortunately. After going to MB to get my god cape back, I came back to fight her again and did very well - would have killed her too if she didn't tele =\ I hopped around after that, nobody my level. Once again I reluctantly entered world 22 - though only 300 people were in the world - everyone must have been at school. A tank ranger around my level wanted to fight me - I was forced to fight him =\ I don't enjoy fighting tank rangers - not as much fun as fighting warriors. He made me run - he was using Veracs Skirt so I knew he'd beat me =p A little while later I found someone to fight - we started fighting then not soon into the fight a guy 3-iteming with strength-boosting items used his four dds specials on me - didn't do anything. He tele'd we resumed our interrupted fight. It was a pretty good fight - she made me use up all my food. Just as I ate my last shark, she tried to run. I intercepted her with ice barrage =) 60 seconds later... Bang. My first whip pk =D I sold it back to her in the bank, she told me she had PK'd 80-something whips and I was the first to make her lose hers. Bwahaha She was a nice person, but I don't respect her for dropping her whip. Got back on a little later and did the new quest with Hyne. Another powerful, untradable weapon which will be abused in the wild :roll: Hyne had to go eat dinner afterwards so I left too for a while. I came back on a while later but she wasn't on so I went PK'ing with Cawnaw. I got to meet a certain maxed-out pure while hopping. He got massacred by a rune pure with much lower stats =( After having no luck hopping around, I reluctantly (now you will learn why I use the word "reluctantly" every time) visited world 22. I did well the first fight I got into. As my opponent was escaping, I intercepted with ice barrage. He was at ~30% HP, frozen, without food. Suddenly I get attacked by 4 DDS specials. The person attacking me is like, "lol I'm nh!" I'm not complaining, though. He was such an awesome PK'er. He rocked my world. Why? Because he's nh! (sarcasm) After banking, I came back up to kick the nh PK'ers as s - and I did too. As the PK'er was frozen trying to escape at about 10HP I get attacked yet again by 4 DDS specials from a guy saying "Don't do that." I called Cloud to come over and help me out, so he came to PK with me. He fought the person who escaped from me the first time. Cloud died =( I got into a fight with somebody afterwards. He was spec'ing me from like 15HP so I went for the KO and tried to snapshot him in the middle of his specs, but he hit me too hard before I could do that. I died =( We both went back up, and Cloud KO'd the guy who killed him previously. I also got semi-revenge on the person who made my best RS-friend quit RS: Sick of the PK'ers in world 22, Cloud and I went hopping around from world to world for RC PK'ers to kill. We came across Punchy again in one of the worlds. Cloud and him started fighting. As soon as Cloud teleblocked Punchy, Punchy turned on range-pray and ran away. Sad. No luck finding RC PK'ers either =\ Trojann came and visited briefly before we left. [/hide] [hide=Mar. 6, 2007]Got on for a little while today to go PK'ing. After hopping through dozens of worlds without any fights I reluctantly went to world 22. First person I fought was very nice - he used my guide in the past =p However... Killed him via ice barrage when he was escaping - big respect to him for being nice and not tele'ing unlike many others. I got into a fight with a famous PK'er whom shall remain nameless afterwards. He made me run both times & made fun of me for running. After my second fight with him, I went back up and he was fighting the person I killed previously (Frey). Frey was beating up the famous PK'er and the famous PK'er ended up running ... hypocrite. He was poisoned and redbarred and logged off. There goes my respect for him. I was unprepared for the next fight I got into - I only brought one super restore instead of three because I was planning on fighting the famous PK'er instead of this new chick. Anyways, after banking and returning I fought the new chick - she managed to get away. I came back and fought her again - less than a minute into the fight I had a powerful snapshot (for once) and KO'd her =) Be back later, hopefully. Got another busy day in rl today.[/hide] [hide=Mar. 5, 2007]Finally got membership back this evening. Didn't do much today - mostly PK'd with Priest and Cawnaw. Not very many fights tonight - people don't like fighting tanks =( Looks like I'll be abandoning Karma and Panic till the next time membership expires =p Going to bed now, I'm too tired to elaborate on the day.[/hide] [hide=Mar. 4, 2007]Busy in rl.[/hide] [hide=Mar. 3, 2007]Boring day today. Membership still expired. Played on Karma for the first time in a long time. Very difficult to PK in f2p on Karma =\ I had to run away from almost every fight haha. I can't tell which is the major disadvantage - my 60 attack, 43 prayer, or both. On my way to recharge my prayer, I was attacked. I tried to attack back but it said the person wasn't in the wilderness (but he was). I ran north a little bit and fire blasted him and he ran away. Perhaps he knew I wouldn't be able to attack back but when I attacked back his plan was foiled and he ran... Strange =S Hyne logged on and we tried PK'ing in deep wild for a while. Found one person but he ran away. Found another but they logged. Hyne had to go soon after =\ I came back on later tonight to do one last trip into the wild on Panic (low on addy arrows). I attacked one person but all she did was run laps around the wild, wasting my arrows. Good XP though =p I got two levels on the next person I fought - 46 strength and 53 range =) Last time I used my rune scimitar was at 44 strength - so I went from 45 to 46 strength purely from r2h KO attempts haha The next person I fought claimed he was lagging - but I believed him unlike everybody else due to the fact that he allowed his HP to go waaay lower than most of the other "non-safer" pures I fight. When my opponent was almost out of food, I was tagged. I made the tagger run after a while also. After the tagger ran, my original opponent returned and attacked me. I was at a disadvantage because I hadn't banked - I was down to six swordfish and about 25 addy arrows. It got to the point where I had to pick up my arrows after every five shots. Finally, I was down to two arrows. Lucky for me, his lag was on my side =) [/hide] [hide=Mar. 2, 2007]Membership still hasn't been renewed =( Went PK'ing on Panic as usual - same stuff as always. Got one PK, and it was very satisfying =) He called me a safer not long after we started fighting - about two seconds after he called me a safer, he died =p Today I went from 50 to 52 range. Would have kept PK'ing but I ran out of strength pots. The rare kills I get on this account are what pay for my supplies =\ Came back on RS a few hours later - got into a fight on Panic against a guy 5 combat lvls above me after receiving some strength pots from Cloud. He was really nice and we added each other so I let him kill me when I was out of food (as opposed to me running). I noticed that guide to luring yew autoers in the Player-Made Guides forum so I asked Cloud if he wanted to help me lure yew autoers. It didn't go very well - the autoers would always miraculously escape at 1 HP or some random noob passing by would attack the hobgoblin when the autoer was one hit away from death =( We invited Priest to come with us and we tried it out in Varrock with rune essence but there weren't any ess autoers. Priest left later and then Hyne signed on and came to lure with us. No autoers died =( After luring, I invited everybody on my friendslist to come have a snowball fight. Around a dozen people came altogether. Before everyone arrived, Cloud and I had a fun deathmatch. I won =) I returned his stuff and then we all headed out for deep wild once everybody arrived. Hyne won the first fight and the second too I think. Encountered the usual (trash-talking, pj'ing, etc) but got 50 range fairly quickly. I started attacking somebody but they just stood there. I was wondering why until one minute later I see a Zammy kite, rune scimitar, and rune battleaxe on the ground. Too bad I didn't get anything =p Got into another fight and got KO'd not long after - I wish I didn't have to go to these crowded servers to find all the PK'ers; takes a while to eat food here =\ I was going to go back out but I realized I didn't have anymore green dragonhide bodies or amulets of power. I don't have any money left on Kcatta either =\ Lucky for me, Hyne signed on =) She gave me the amulet of power and green dragonhide body that I needed She had to go to a different world for a short while to give a bone spear to one of her friends. I went back into the wild and got into a fight. Less than a minute into the fight I killed the guy for a rune 2h and a rune scimitar =) I got to spend time with her when she got back, even though we didn't get to spend much time together today. Better than not seeing each other at all. Been a busy day in real life, so didn't get to spend much time on RS. Tomorrow will be busy too, but at least the day after is Friday and hopefully my membership will be renewed.[/hide] [hide=Feb. 27, 2007]Membership expired so I got on my "def noob" account, Kcatta Cinap (backwards name like muggiwhplar; favorite Dream Theater song). I somehow managed to slack off training magic and range as my melee stats went up, so I've been trying to get his range level up. 48 range at the moment, but I need around 58 to be "maxed" for my combat lvl. Training outside of the wild is boring, and with the influx of wannabe pures I decided to go train in the wild on the noob PK'ers =) In the first fight, my opponent and I redbarred each other. As we both started to eat, somebody came in out of nowhere and stole my opponent. My opponent ran off of course so I started attacking the guy who interfered. He wanted me to team with him ... yeah right. He and two guys on the sidelines started calling me a "def nub" and "safer nub" as my opponent continued to snarf down food. Finally the little runt ran away, but not without throwing a tantrum, of course. After he ran off, I started attacking the guy who was talking trash from the sidelines. He didn't have a skull, but who cares - I just want my easy range XP =) He too ran off, while cursing. I finally banked and got more supplies and went back out. Next opponent was a range/mage hybrid. Water blast hit me a lot more than it should have - I need to train my magic up for magic defence after ranged =\ Anyways, he ran too - at least he didn't say anything mean. Went back out again after banking - one of the trash-talkers attacked me again. Halfway through the fight he ran because I didn't have a skull. I guess he forgot that when I fought him previously he didn't have a skull and that I didn't have a skull when he chose to attack me just now. Attacked a str pure afterwards, I was at 16 HP but didn't eat. Dead. Didn't know pures could hit 16 at my level >_> Went back out, got in another fight. It was interrupted by a guy with a blurite sword and full addy. I made him run 10 seconds later >_> I started attacking the guy I was just fighting again and he ran soon after "def nub." You'd think if def was so great then they'd go get it. The mind of a wannabe PK'er perplexes me. Got in some more fights, same as usual - there was trash-talking and interfering involved, but I got 49 ranged - and that's all that matters =) One of the fights I was watching was of two pures fighting - one wouldn't stop trash-talking and disrespecting the other person. He got the kill, but continued to talk trash - so, I pj'd him. Hypocritical? Yes. Worth it? Yes. He called me a "pj noob" (I deserve that one, I never pj but this guy was bothering me) and "def noob" as he ran away =p I also met a nice guy with similar stats and PK'ing style as me. We added each other. (make that 6 or 7 now) You seem to be a pretty good staker. I want to stake eventually, but knowing my luck (I die everywhere and to everything), I'd get cleaned every time I went there. I ran into you when I was doing my coordinate clue in freaking deep wilderness, I didn't see your name, I saw the level and was freaking out hoping it wasn't a PKer! I then dug the right spot, got my zammy mage, specced him with DDS, he had like 2 hp after I finished the 4 specs lol. I dug up chest, went to mage bank where I saw you and said hi and that you were that 109 or whatever who ran by me! And then you left :P lol.
