March 7, 200719 yr ey, kbase has told what the special does :D no more testing out in wild and duel arena.. btw, i used that anchor on a guy in wildy, he was testing bird for me ^^ he bringed just food... i hitted, and he didn't do anything else than eating, and still he had too run out,... dratted, he had 500 laws there : / and he was down on 15 hp : /... one more hit, just one more ^^
March 7, 200719 yr So is Anchor the best Crush weapon out there now? It's as fast as a D Long. Other good Crush 2 handers are D2H, Dharoks Axe, Granite Maul, and a 1 handed D Mace. Does Anchor beat out all of those?
March 7, 200719 yr The first two hits I ever used with the Anchor were awesome... 36 first Spec. 40 the next. Even ask Cloudstri101, he was there to see it. March 7, 200719 yr depends how you look at it if it is the best... by everyone you named here, then this is the fastest(maybe same speed as mace, but better crush with anchor) also, the special is quite good, doubling the chance of a hit (wich even for me, un-potted and no pray is up to 30. maul is better for a k0 with it's special i guess, d2h is better as slash anyway (if i'm not wrong ^^ ) dh axe is really slow and expensive, and i wouldn't use it if i'm not dhing somewere.. mace isn't really that good (exsept for insane hits) and the obsidian maul is very slow again.

The axe is designed for slashing attacks. It beats out everything. Except of course, full Dharok special. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. March 7, 200719 yr Just trying it out first time with slay task and str training. I'm hitting pretty thirties+ quite often up to forties (with super str) on fire giants with it. Using normal slayer gear; black mask, torso, dark gloves, r boots, fury and fire cape. Gives me +103 crush and +110 str. While umm.. D scim+r def would give +109 slash and 101 str. Like said, it depends which monster your fighting. I think it's faster here at fire giants but I might wouldn't take the anchor somewhere at like abby demons. Dunno. March 7, 200719 yr looks like a cheap great axe alternative. i went to kill some green drags in the wildy yesterday and their were about 5 or 6 their using it.

March 8, 200719 yr One will get much more xp/do more damage (around 10% more xp per hour) using a weapon with a max hit of 40 and a random accuracy than a weapon with a max hit of 35 and the same accuracy... In my opinion, if one uses stat-boosting equipment like furies and berseker helms, the anchor is better. If one only uses the weapons, they're about even... It can also be used in pking/dueling with food (trick them by wielding a weapon with a smaller max hit like dragon long, then when their hits are low, take out anchor... works best if you're wasting food/losing the battle in the wildy, since once they see that you have an anchor/get hit hard they'll attempt to run...) Losers...Are you blind or ignoring me on purpose?Even though I sometimes side with religious people in some debates, I no longer consider myself religious.

Go talk to the monk, then take the anchor to be repaired at the pirate smith. The Anchor is faster than a longsword and slower than a whip.
