Farming or Slayer the two skills hated to train to 99 which do you all say is harder give a reason why you think so should be fun :)

slayer.

Farming is an accompanying skill. How many people get on in the morning, and train farming for 8 hours? Most people spend half an hour, run around to all the patches, then go do something else. But Slayer, they have to be actively training.

Farming - plant highest tree seeds you have, go off, train something else, walk round collect xp. Takes a while but easy.

Just because more xp can be achieved in 1 day, doesn't make farming the easier skill. It may be faster to level but there is far less work involved in gaining farming xp than in gaining slayer xp. You can do 1 round of planting trees which should take no more than 30 minutes and end up with 100k farming xp at the end of the day. To get that same amount of xp in slayer you would have to do numerous tasks which would take around 4 hours and an exponentially greater amount of clicking.

LordFan21.pngHilordfan.jpgZ0mg look im so kool even mods tok to me.

Farming is better.

Why are you discussing two easy skills :D ?

As someone who is 86 in both, I definitely have to say that Slayer is tougher. With Farming, you have a lot more selection as to how you want to level the skill, whereas with Slayer you are forced to slay whatever you are told and you can get an awful lot of bad assignments in a row.

Slayer is the hardest 99 to get followed by runecrafting. Farming can't be compared because it costs money not time.

Slayers the hardest.

You might get more exp in farming, but I don't consider just going to a couple patches to water them hard.

Once you can plant trees and good herbs (to help your Herblore), you begin to get quite an appreciation for Farming.

When you can plant a Mage Tree in the Gnome Stronghold patch, right by the other mage tree and 3 Yews, then you're in love with the skill ;-)

Farming is just annoying not hard And hp are just about as hard to train as slayer but no-one complains about that.

When you train slayer you are lvling 3 skills at the same time ( and if you have somthing growing 4 :D )

Sorry but I have to disagree. I think agility, mining, fishing, and RC are all harder than slayer.

Why do people keep thinking that farming is such a hard skill?

It's sooooo easy.

This guy knows what he's doing 8-) . Farming is pretty easy but expensive.

Mining is the hardest.

  • Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.
  • Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.

Mining is the hardest.
Clicking the same 3 rocks over and over is harder than teleporting, running to your slayer master, teleing where you have to go for the monster, click the monsters, and worry about dieing, repeat. Hm? I'm not understanding your logic about mining...

Mining. Look at how long ago it came out and how many people have 99... Only 358, and one player 20 exp from the level.

Mining is the hardest.

It's not that hard :|. It took me only 10 days to get 71->85 mining as Slay took 3 months to get 60->85 (Well i played more when i trained my mining, but still slayer's a lot harder).

It's pretty close, but I have to say farming, because I have tried getting lvl 99, but I gave up quickly.

First off, there is much more people with 99 slayer than there is people with 99 farming, shows something.

99 slayer can take more or less time depending on how hard you train it, whist in farming you're pretty much stuck by how long your crops take to grow.

99 farming can be speed up a little by buying and planting a lot of fruit and normal trees, but from lvl 70 to 99 by example, it would cost something like 80M. To get 99 farming, your forced to spent a lot of money, you have no choice whist slayer is totally free and can actually make you gain a little money. 'Nuff said.

2480+ total

i would say slayer out of these 2.i still havent seen a slayer cape in game yet.

btw imo construction has to be up their as the hardset to level up in the later stages.its so expensive an time consuming(good luck on that one waka :P )
