December 23, 200718 yr United 2-0 Everton My prediction:P tevez giggs Oh I know who you are now. But aren't your username and avatar a bit contradicting? No, not one bit. Just because Ricky Hatton is a blue, does not mean i cannot like the guy. If thats the case, you can't like anyone from a rival place. I want to ride that!!! That's what she said yesterday :P
December 24, 200718 yr Aberdeen!! :o :D http://www.lacoctelera.com/myfiles/quefuede/Macaulay_Culkin_0005.JPG[/mg] I was surpised too. It's mind boggling to think Copenhagen made Man Utd struggle not so long ago but got slapped by Aberdeen.Hehe, lets see if they can do the same against Bayern Munich. :o LOL, hope they do the same against Rangers tomorrow ;) is that to make up for Celtic's poor performance against Hibs or generally just to make up for Celtic's recent poor league run lol. :D My wish came true yay! 1-1 Keeps things interesting for the old firm game on the 2nd
December 27, 200718 yr The Chelsea Vs Aston Villa game looked awesome. Four each with three men sent off lol... can't wait to watch that replay.
December 27, 200718 yr Chelsea and Arsenal prove again they don't have what it takes to win the title this year. I think the rather large bet i made on Utd will make me a wealthy man come May (or maybe even, April?) :P Capone Sabre since April 2001.99 Attack, Defence, Strength and Hitpoints Achieved January 2005. When it still meant something.

I think the rather large bet i made on Utd will make me a wealthy man come May (or maybe even, April?) :P LOL, a bit early for that yet. Chelsea and Arsenal are definately still in it... maybe even Liverpool (if they can get results against the bigger teams). I recon United have the stamina to win it, but not by April lol.
December 28, 200718 yr Joey Barton you plonker. #-o Was only a matter of time really. It's a shame, I like the guy and he speaks alot of sense but needs to control himself better.
December 30, 200718 yr Chelsea and Arsenal prove again they don't have what it takes to win the title this year. I think the rather large bet i made on Utd will make me a wealthy man come May (or maybe even, April?) :P So, who missed that penalty yesterday? Glad to see United back up at the top of the table... almost :P
December 31, 200718 yr Just thought I'd post a quick tribute to Phil O'Donnell who died during the Motherwell Vs Dundee Utd game on Saturday. I met him a few years ago at a footballers function, and he seemed like a really good guy. He leaves behind four kids and his wife :( Feel like he deserves a mention on this footie thread

January 5, 200818 yr Some shocking FA cup results today... Everton losing to Oldham, Blackburn losing heavily to Coventry and Bolton losing to Shefield Utd. Coventry have been pretty impressive in cups this year - knocking out United in the League Cup and now Blackburn in the FA.

January 8, 200818 yr Link the final four candidates for the Scotland job, i see George Burley is still there. get rid of George Burley and ruin the Scotland team, please? www.PETAkillsanimals.com
January 8, 200818 yr It has to be between Burley or McGhee for me. Souness has proven time after time that he's a useless manager - a good motivator but tactically poor. Where as I see Tommy Burn being our Steve McClaren, he's been around as part of the coaching staff for a long time (like McClaren), he's never struck me as tactically astute (he ran Celtic during the Rangers 9 in a row era) and he doesn't seem like he can rule through fear or command instant respect. He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)

As far as I'm concerned... neither have the experience for the job, but it's not as though we're spoiled for choice. My own personal choice would be Tommy Burns since he was heavily involved in our recent successes.
January 8, 200818 yr Ah but you forget he was also involved in the Berti Vogts era. Plus McLeish had Andy Watson & Roy Aitken in with him, so Burn's role would have been limited quite a bit. I wonder why Craig Levein isn't on the shortlist, he's pretty good tactically and would demand respect.
