I've been doing Manage Thy Kingdom since it came out with the new update 6 months ago (just prior to Construction). I made this post 6 months ago with just a 10 day total post pic. I then added another pic from 12 days total. So here's my 6 months of MTK.

Item (sold for) - amount (total)

Teak (1k ea) - 2708 (2.71 Mill gp - due to Constr update only)

Maple (100 ea) - 137,711 (13.77 Mill gp)

Flax (120 ea) - 92,652 (11.60 Mill gp)

Nest (2k ea) - 1,382 (2.76 Mill gp)

Rings (2k ea avg) - 431 (.86 Mill gp)

Obvious Total - 31.7 Mill gp

Magic (180k ea) - 8 (1.44 Mill gp)

Yews (70k ea) - 25 (1.75 Mill gp)

Maple (35k ea) - 40 (1.40 Mill gp)

Willow (15k ea) - 125 (1.86 Mill gp)

Acorns (5k ea) - 208 (1.04 Mill gp)

Tree Seed Total - 7.49 Mill gp

Calq (80k ea) - 21 (1.68 Mill gp - Got lucky bulk sale)

Palm (100k ea) - 15 (1.5 Mill gp)

Papaya (60k ea) - 30 (1.8 Mill gp)

Pineapple (45k ea) - 28 (1.26 Mill gp)

Curry (13k ea) - 59 (0.77 Mill gp)

Orange (8k ea) - 110 (0.88 Mill gp)

Apple (6k ea) - 138 (0.828 Mill gp)

Fruit Seed Total - 8.71 Mill gp

GRAND TOTAL - 47.9 Mill GP or 35.6 Mill GP Profit

Didn't track the herb seeds, but probably got a million gp off them. Some things were luck sales, such as the Teak right after Construction came out (you could sell them for 3k each at times). Don't expect prices like these all the time.

After further research, you can switch your resources anytime before you withdraw, and the resources you pick are what you will get.

As for how much money you invested that gets applied to "work", here's a simple Boolean code. "Work" will be your total cash in your kingdom you can "buy" the material with at a predetermined rate (ex: Coal is 91.6 gp while flax is 40 gp each). Divide your "Work" by 15 and multiply by amount of workers you put on a resource (max of 10) to see how much cash you're using to buy material.

IF (10% coffers) < 75k THEN Amount = (10% coffers) ELSE Amount=75k

Coffers = Coffers - Amount

Work = Work + (Amount * approval%)

IF approval >25 THEN approval = approval - 1 ELSE approval = 25

You lose 1% approval a day, but it's all linear. You put in 7.5 million, leave for 30 days, you spent (30 * 75k) = 2.25 Million. However, as your approval dropped to 70%, it's like you've been at 85% everyday on average.

85% of 2.25 Million is 1.91 Million.

With 10 workers on flax and 5 workers on coal, you'll get at end of 30 days

31,875 Flax (plus 30 herb seeds as a bonus)

6,959 Coal (plus 33 gems as a bonus)

Here's the cost per item in the kingdom

Coal - 91.6 each

Flax - 40 each

Tuna/Swords - 56.8, 189.4 each (10 to 3 ratio)

Maple - 56.1 each

Teak - 166.1 each

Mohagany - 224.6 each

Teak/Mohagany combo - 191.3 each (1 to 1 ratio)

Unid Herbs - 826.4 each

~~Bonuses~~

Mining - 1 gem ever 150 coal

Woodcutting - 1 nest every 100 maple

Fishing - 1 item every 100 fish

Flax - 1 herb seed every 600 flax

O.o

And to think that I've been spending the past three days at the teak trees in the Jungle south of Shilo and amassing only 1,300 logs. :(

I don't know how this works. Could you explain what quest this is and how the whole servants things works. Or perhaps there is already a guide?

I'd LOVE all of those birdnests...not necessarily for the tree seeds, although those would be AMAZING farming experience, but instead for the actualy nests for Saradomin Brews.

I'm not sure if I understand right. Are you saying that you can change what you want to get repeatedly and whatever it's set at when you withdraw is what collects, even if they were collecting different things previously?

I'm not sure if I understand right. Are you saying that if you wait 20 days and withdraw it all at once, you'd get more in total than if you withdrew day by day?

No, he's saying that on the 20th day, no matter what you set your servants to collect the other 19 days, if you change it to be 100% flax and 60% coal, thats all that you'll get.

Say for 19 days you have it at 100% flax and 60% coal, but don't withdraw anything, on the day that you do withdraw (changing it to maples and fish), you'll get ALL maples/fish and NO flax/coal, even though for 19 days you were supposedly collecting those supplies.

Here's the rough price per item the Kingdom charges you.

Coal - 91.6 each

Flax - 40 each

Tuna/Swords - 56.8, 189.4 each (10 to 3 ratio)

Maple - 56.1 each

Teak - 166.1 each

Mohagany - 224.6 each

Teak/Mohagany combo - 191.3 each (1 to 1 ratio)

Unid Herbs - 826.4 each

Now, every day you can invest 75k gp maximum. So for 10 days, I spent 750k gp.

That 750k is now divided based on what I put the workers on. As I had 90% teak and 60% maple, that meant a spent 450k on teak and 300k on maples.

The results are predictable, I should get near 5,347 maples and 2,709 teaks. Bonus is 1 nest per 100 maples and 1 nest per 350 rare wood. So 60 nests.

Whoa... nice one..

I'll keep it at 100% teak and 50% herbs..

Oh, btw, what do you use those maples for?

For getting bird nests. If you want to you can burn the maples (somwhere like yanille, with a bank and then space to the west) for fast exp :)

Maples sell for 100 each, but I got them mainly for the tree nests. Now to open up the nests, wonder what the spread will be?

Well, got to sell the maples for 125 each. Now to sell those teak logs. Too bad I didn't take them out 2 days ago, eh?

Anyway, this opens up unique application of MTK. I'm gonna test out a couple of days. Here's my set-up

Day 1 - kill a subject to get 80% approval.

Day 2 - keep it at 80% (raise to 100%, kill a subject).

Day 3 - raise to 100%

Day 4 - Withdraw.

Now, that's 225k I would spend (3 days times 75k). I know how many coal and maples I should be getting if at 100%. If it's that much this day, then it's only the amount of money you pay subjects that's saved.

If so, you could put in 7.5 million, leave it for 30 days (don't even need to show up daily to raise approval). Come back, raise approval to 100% and wait for 1 more day (I think 10am GMT is the "gather" time for MTK).

Yep that kingdom is quite worth-while I put 7.5m in and got 444 mahogany and a load of seeds from it after 2 days.

It turns out you get mahogany for 300 each and that's without calculating how much the seeds are worth.

This is a different and VERY useful test. He is checking to see if the percentage of approval actually effects the reward DAILY since the work load doesn't. If they operate in the same manner (which seems likely) that means you could leave it unwatched for (theoretically) 89 days, raise it to 100% the 89th day, and withdraw it all the 90th day resulting in 90 days of rewards at 100% approval! If that is the case there will be VERY FEW people who do not make this there main goal when coming to p2p.

Aah...I see. Good experiment then. I'm also glad to see that the rewards have improved a lot since I last visited. 97ish for each piece of coal seems very nice, thank you very much!

Great googly moogly  That's an amazing amount of nests you got there!

Man, I just pulled out all my money yesterday because I reached my desired construction level and don't need anymore rare woods. Now when I get home I'll surely put in a couple of millions on maples and coal. Besides the great farming xp and some nice profit I can use the maples to get 99 firemaking, right after I burn the 12k yews I have left (Yes, I know 99 firemaking is quite pointless, but I'm a skill totaler I can't resist it)

man that just wicked stuff, u can really use all of the materials that u get there for construction. I think thats why they probably made the ques before construction came up. It links directly to construction.

Id say it would be better to get 100% flax. That way in 10 days you would have around 3k flax and your other resource gathered. And at 40 gp each you could turn them into strings and either fletch or sell them for a profit :P

Thats what i did :)

Im really sorry , call me a noob but what does "Ex: i put 50%coal 100%mahog in coffers" mean (the 50% and the 100%) i mean theres like this bar that goes up and down and the higher u make in on a resource the more u get from that (im sorry i did that quest yesterday and i dont know alot about this stuff)
