I work in a small restaurant, and while my boss uses ketchup for lunch (Heinze), if people ask for it during dinner, he tells them he just ran out. Nothing on the dinner menu goes with ketchup.. sadly some people ask for it on things like a saint jacques schnitzel (pork thing topped with seafood stuff).. yuck.

There were several posts that did not focus on the immaturity of teens as their reasoning, but instead, the logical reasons against it (such as mine). You choosing to ignore those posts shows the immaturity that you spoke of. You are just stating laws that currently exist, they are not "reasons" for teens not being able to vote. Before women could vote, they were not considered equal to men by the government. Would someone saying "Women shouldn't be able to vote because the law says they aren't full citizens" be a valid argument? Of course people under 18 can't vote under current laws, that is why they may need to.. CHANGE. Important word there. Laws aren't set in stone.

You people say 16-year-olds shouldn't be allowed to vote because they aren't mature enough? The only things immature are your degrading additudes towards teenagers. Summarizing the negative posts in this thread, 16-17 year-olds are "irresponsable and uninformed freeloading weak-willed people who would trade their vote for a day off school" Can't you hear yourselves? Maybe I am biased because am only turning eighteen in April, but most of your arguments are fallacious and down right stupid. For those who think teenagers would do whatever their favourite band tells them, do you really think they would bother registering & going out to vote? Same thing for the ones who don't have knowledge of political affairs. You should be encouraging young people to vote, not repressing them. I work and pay income taxes, go to school, and can make an informed voting decision just as well as the average Canadian adult. Unfortunately, barring the event of another vote of no-confidence, I won't have an opportunity to vote until I'm 21.

Congrats on creating an optical illusion :)

I'm in grade 12, but my parents haven't been involved in my education since elementary school (My mom at least. My dad, never). The only person my marks matter to is myself.

Go for the swamp, definately. You've done too much to spoil it with "rares".

It's not funny because it's so obvious. I knew what it was after the first click :? Although I guess it could be funny if I was watching someone aimlessly clicking the link over and over.. but that's hard to imagine.

I didn't set out to make a signature tonight, but I got one. Most of it was random brushing with various layer styles I've made. Text may be changed later.

I like it, although I think bright white/yellow leaves with perhaps a glow would suit it better. I don't agree with the sides being too empty, they look fine.

You cannot marry something that can't agree to it, period. That's like me making poker bets with the wheel on my friend's car.

Oh man, I agree. Don't those idiots know that the speed limit is actually the MINIMUM speed you are allowed to drive at? Grr, luckily most people on the road are sensible and drive at least 10-20 Kmph above the minimum speed.

That's a bunny? I thought it was a pillow. A good looking pillow, however.

I just suck at animations. Even if I try to get something under the limits (which I did not on this one), I can't. Then I see people with 25+ frame animations under 20,000 :?

Right now, who knows. But in grade 6, I ran 1500 metres in about 7 minutes. I think. It was a long time ago.

I'll never use it, but oh well.. Also, a sig I did a couple weeks ago: I drew the person on paper

I am incredibly out of shape. I just ran on the spot and did some stretching; I can do 26. Keep in mind I haven't excercised in so long, I can't even remember the last time I did. Probably 9+ months ago.

Goldeneye Super Smash Bros. Jet Force Gemini Rush 2 Definately. Edit: Also, you could try Biofreaks. It is an interesting fighter (if you have a human opponent). Movement in three dimensions, nifty characters with lots of special movies (Like a clown with a hammer who shoots lasers out of his eyes). :P

Heh, that's one of the reasons why I think MGS: The Twin Snakes is the worst console game I've ever played :P The best game I've played is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I was young when I played it, and ended up renting it seven times. I could have almost bought it by then.

Please :? I've played both F.E.A.R. and CoD2. Fear has a terrible multiplayer at least (I didn't do much in the single player). The weapon models, animations, and sounds suck; the game physics & movement are so soft/unresponsive (it feels like I'm walking around in a fat suit); and for being such a demanding game, it doesn't even look that great. CoD2 I've only played the demo of, but I can see that it is nothing special. The TV commercial is SUCH an exaggeration. Also, I play CS:S on a clan's server with people that also play CoD varieties and Battlefield 2, and have heard a lot of complaints from them about BF2. Resident Evil 4 (Gamecube) looks great, I haven't had a chance to play it though, only bought one game this year. I haven't played enough games to give my choice, but I can say for sure, none of those three are near the top. How can you base games on that? You played some or the F.E.A.R. single player (which is the major focus)...you played the demo of COD2, and you hear BF2 is bad...You're arguement has no worth. I only had to play half of Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes to know it was the worst console game I had ever played. What am I supposed to think, that only the parts of the game I played are mediocre, and the rest is a mindblowing experience? This is a topic about the best game of the year. I may not be able to accurately say how good/bad those games are, but it is crystal clear that they are NOT the best. Fear and CoD2, at least.

Best of Blur Album art lookalike (work in progress)
Exarch replied to Mercifull's topic in Art and Media
Here is my cut.. I added noise & blurred the background because the background in the album cover pic has artifacts/inconsistencies in it :P I'm guessing it's not supposed to be that way though. -

Looks good. You should make some of the solid shapes into outlines, in case people just want the outlines. A circle would be easy to make; You'd just draw a hollow square, a circle inside it, then free transform > right click > distort and make the edges of the square match those of one of your isometric squares, the circle will distort the same way.

Apparently Gillette is coming out with a new razor, Fusion (and Fusion Power), in first quarter 2006. It has five blades, plus a sixth on the back of the cartridge for shaping goatees, shaving sideburns & under nose, etc. http://www.gillette.com/men/index_fusion.htm :o I want one.
-
On the subject of shaving, has anyone tried the Mach3 Power? Does it do anything? Because you could use any blade with it, and once the razor is purchased, I wouldn't have to do anything other than use a rechargable battery, which I already have.. so it would cost nothing more than the m3 Turbo I use now.

There are four major federal parties in Canada. The Liberal party (currently holding the most seats), the Conservative party (2nd), the Bloc Quebecois (3rd), and the New Democratic Party (4th). The NDP recieves more votes than the Bloc Quebecois, but because the Block are concetrated in Quebec, they have more seats. There is also a smattering of parties that hold no seats, the biggest of them being the Green party. NDP: Most left-wing of the four parties. Bloc Quebecois: left, desires sovereignty for Quebec. Liberal: Left, but to a lesser extent than the above two. Conservative: Right duh :P
