  1. I never even use the New page button or Ctrl+shft+N. I use mouse gestures. Click and hold right mouse button, then drag mouse down and release to open a blank page, down and up to duplicate the page, down and right to close the page. There are many more, but those are the three I mainly use. They are great, especially when you just want to lay back and browse without touching the keyboard.
  2. I recently bought a Creative MuVo TX FM player, that uses one AAA battery, and it's life is stated at "Up to 11 hours". The battery included with the player was a standard Energizer. I used it for only a few hours, and last I remembered the meter still said it was fully charged (three out of three bars). I didn't turn it on for half a week, and when I did, the battery was completely dead, wouldn't even start up. So I replaced it with a cheap dollar-store battery, and used it for no more than two hours last week. Didn't use it at all on the weekend, and today when I tried to start it.. dead. It's not like the battery is being drained ultra fast while it's on, it just goes from fully charged to dead when I don't even use it. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Could it be defective?
  3. Are you talking about the hockey song? (Thats the only situation I've heard it)
  4. Some people at school call me Stew. I tell you why, though :(
  5. Too hazy/faded, nothing stands out in it.
  6. Candy, of course. I'm not saying I don't enjoy chocolate, It tastes fine, but it sucks, because it makes you thirsty (this doesn't apply to chocolate milk, ice cream etc). I however eat hardly any chocolate, candy, chips, or pop anymore, I'm over that stuff. I'll take a bottle of water or orange juice, and some meat or cheese, over sugary food anyday.
  7. I just bought a Creative MuVo TX FM 512MB, The flash part seperates from the battery compartment so it can be directly plugged into USB ports, no wires. I have no comparison but reviews I have read state it has excellent sound quality, it's Creative Labs after all :P The battery life isn't great, "Up to 11 hours" on one AAA, though my included battery only lasted four hours.. either it was a dud or the life gradually drained away while I wasn't using the player. The Sony Network Walkmen have "Up to 70 hours" on a single AAA battery  - But Sony are notorious for exxagerating figures, you probably will never get close to 70. It should be pretty high, though. EDIT: Just realized something wierd. I have one Energizer battery than came with the MuVo, and two generics that were in my TV remote. The mp3 player won't turn on with the Energizer and one of the generics, the other generic works and says it has a full charge. But put the two remaining "Dead' batteries in my tv remote, and it works. Meh, batteries, they are unpredictable.
  8. Even if this Dvorty keyboard offers significant speed improvements, there is no motivation for me to switch over to it. I test around 75-80 WPM on a QWERTY keyboard, and rarely do I ever need to type that fast.
  9. My first sig was made in both MS Paint and GIMP, but that is long gone. All my other early stuff was either erased when I formatted, or lost when my old computer died (I haven't tried to salvage the hard drive yet). The oldest stuff I can acquire are these sigs made for Peter: As you can see, I didn't spend much time and/or wasn't very adept at putting text in my sigs. Three sigs I made about a year ago are: (Third is too large for these forums, never used) And finally, some sigs I've made in the past couple weeks (includes the one I am currently using):
  10. I am 17 and I have never been able to whistle either! I don't play RS so I don't have any gold though, so I will just piggy-back on advice given to Tomato.
  11. As already stated by a bunch of people, we just cease to exist. For that reason, I am not afraid of death. I would be afraid of any pain in the dying process, however.
  12. Shadow for the snake makes it seem like the entirety of it's head and neck is an equal distance from the bank, while I presume it's head is farther away.
  13. I have always had very strange dreams. I can not remember many, but this one I do. It was definately not pleasent, so I guess it qualifies as a nightmare. The dream started with me climbing up a winding rock-paved path on a mountain. I was climbing to the top to install Microsoft Windows. I don't know why, but thats what you had to do. Along the way I passed a dwarf with an axe slung over his back, who I recognized as none other than Grin_King. When I got to the top of the mountain, I was suddenly teleported to the parking lot outside a building in the middle of the desert. I wasn't too far away from the mountain, I could see it in the distance. The parking lot was empty, and the building looked very chic. On the other side of the road was desert brush and dirt. I entered the building, and sat down at a table. The room was elegent and packed with people, it was a wedding rehersal dinner. I suddenly realized I was naked, and ran for the bathroom. When I came out, the sunny afternoon had faded into nighttime darkness, and the building was empty of guests, except for a few of my friends. The parking lot outside was no more, instead it was a grassy area filled with small trees in neat rows. A bunch of gnomes in black suits started swarming outside the building, they were all wielding submachine guns with red and blue tape on the ammo magazines, like in Die Hard 2. They shot at the house and killed one of my friends who was on the second floor of the building, in a room with a big glass window, he was vulnerable. I don't know how we did it, but the next thing I remember we were outside and had overcame the gnomes. Their bodies turned into zombies similar to ones in Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced, and started to attack us. We took them on for a while, but witches and banshees started showing up. We hopped into a couple vehicles parked on the opposite end of the building and took off. We drove in the night until we arrived at a supermarket. Most of my friends headed in the store to gather supplies, I stayed outside. I came accross four yellow lightbulbs, and they talked to me. They didn't have any faces or anything, so it must have been telepathicly or something. These lighbulbs were evil, the most evil things I had ever came across. I tried to smash them, but they seemed invincible. So I tied them up with some rope, we hopped in the vehicles, one of them a pickup truck, and took off. We drove a short distance through mountainous terrain until we arrived at a pier. It was in the very early hours of the morning, we hopped into a motorboat and left, safe from the banshees/witches who were hot on our tail. End of dream.
  14. Yes the face looks a little flat, but the rest is amazing! Might be better if the river/sky didn't match the colour of the elf so precisely, though.
  15. Sorry, but I'm putting the Bunny behind lock & key.
  16. Too lazy to look but if it says "Exarch (1)" then that means it was just you  Oh.. right. I guess only I guessed myself
  17. Woo :P I don't play Runescape so I forfiet my share of the money to Wyrm, he can do what he wants with it. P.S. Who correctly guessed mine? I'm not exactly a frequent media board poster so I'm curious if it was just a random guess or not >_>
  18. The Legend of Zelda: The Twighlight Princess was delayed a couple weeks ago, it will be out after the end of Nintendo's fiscal year (meaning no earlier than April 2006). I bought The Windwaker last month, because I wanted to beat it before getting the Twighlight Princess. Looks like I have a lot more time to do that now, I've mostly ignored the game, too into Counter-Strike: Source. And Lol, your much better asking on a site dedicated to console games like IGN or Gamefaqs, than here where only a few people may have played the game.
  19. Better Nate than Lever? Huh? Am I the only one here who has absolutely *no* idea what was supposed to be funny about that?
  20. A year and a half ago I drank on average 2 Litres of Pepsi a day, when I decided to quit. Didn't drink any pop for two weeks, despite a bottle of pepsi being in my fridge and my computer, at the time, being in my kitchen, one metre away from the fridge :o Now, I only drink about 2 Litres a month. Most of my fluid intake is bottled water, orange juice, and occasionaly milk-based drinks. There really is no morale to this story. Pop may seem like the only satisfactory drink, but once you are sober for a couple of months, you'll realize there are much better things out there.
  21. Looks nice, I would expect a chimney on a brick house like that though. And it's kind of wierd that there are twelve windows, all the same size, on two walls alone.. throw some variety in there

    TI-89 Titanium

I'd like to get some games on my calc to play in between classes or while waiting for the bus etc, once I find out how. I wouldn't play them during class though- last semester in physics, there were always 2-5 people playing games the entire class. While trying to listen to the teacher you here this rapid tapping of the buttons the whole time.. It's very annoying, but the teacher seems to be oblivious to it.
  23. It's a movie. Trust me, by the time #6 comes around, the actress who plays Ginny will be beautiful. And if she isn't, they will make her

    TI-89 Titanium

Here TI-89s are banned from high school (maybe even some college) math courses, because they are too powerful  I just have an 83 Plus.
  25. I'm not sure if I will buy a console, because I still have $800 to go on this computer I'm using, and I'm broke. If I do get one, it will probably be the Nintendo Revolution, for two reasons: 1- Backwards compatibility with my Gamecube games (atm I have 6, probably 10 by the time I would buy a Rev), and 2- Super Smash Bros. Revolution. I don't like to use clicḫ̩̉̉s, but 'nuff said
