First of all, it's merchanting. Merchanding is not a word. Well it all comes down to your money budget. For a beginner, I suggest rune essence, cowhides or big bones.

Ditto 8-) Anyway, this will never happen if players just think about their situation. They should realize that they have low hp, and that the other person is making them do something odd. Personnally, if I have low hp I instantly bank anything valuable I might have with me.

As far as I know, you could, and I don't think they changed that. I hate players that pkill non-pkillers though, they're very annoying.

I was lvl 67 and it was by mining and smithing. Then I invested all my money into merchanting and made a 2.2 mill profit in just one week. :thumbsup:

He might have told you you can do whatever you want with them, but he might have secretly wanted you not to sell them. If I were you I'd keep them.

I don't find them to be a problem. It's pkillers that try to kill me even though I clearly have an empty inventory that I have to look out for.

It was Runecrafting season, and I was constantly going back and forth between Falador banks and the rune altars. While in the west bank, I was swapping what I had already RCed for some rune ess, when a player started saying "Buying rune 2h sword for 80k!" I merchant rune 2h swords, as they sell for really high prices and it's very easy to find a buyer when you're looking for them. So I traded him and put up the rune 2h sword and he put up the 80k, but he quickly switched it to 8k, hoping I wouldn't notice but I did, so I declined the trade. He reported me for not allowing him to scam me.

I used to mine tin and copper at the Varrock south-east mine, smelt it into bronze bars in the Lumbridge furnace, smith into basic bronze weaponry at the Varrock anvils, sell at the Varrock sword shop, repeat. I then realized that if I mined and banked, then smelted and smithed, instead of doing the whole routine at once, I could have gone faster. :oops: Mneh, to relive the good ol' days...
