  1. I highly doubt any NPC has the name ÃÆÃââââ¬Ãâlafur, although there might be one in the relekka region since all the npc's there have old nordic names without the special characters (ÃÆÃâÃâó, ÃÆÃâÃâí, ÃÆÃâÃâý, ÃÆÃâÃâú, ÃÆÃâÃâé, ÃÆÃâÃâá, ÃÆÃâÃâþ, ÃÆÃâÃâæ, ÃÆÃâÃâð, ÃÆÃâÃâö).
  2. The emotes are sort of buggy as well when you are sitting while doing the emotes (in your PoH).
  3. We pay for the aditional content of the game (membership). That dosen't mean that Jagex "has" to keep updating the game once a week like they do now. I wouldn't cancel my membership even if updates were removed. The updates keep me interested in the game longer and that's the aim of any company... To get more costumers and keep them happy so they don't go somewhere else with their cash.
  4. I do most of my rune smelthing in there  Less cost per bar and makes it efficient(spelling?) enough for me to smith rune legs and alch them. Since I mine my own rune it's pretty decent cash and alot faster than making sets and having to deal with all those "I wan't a 100% discount since you can mine and smith it" noobs
  5. some ppl call me death for some strange reason. Maybe it's just my scythe that makes them want to misspell my name :wall: I've never really gotten a good insult before though. Mostly just nice nicknames like 'the grim smither', 'grim santa' or 'gramps' (I have a white beard in game). And when ppl attack me while I'm mining rune they call me dead ch00b or make silly comments on killing someone who's already 'dead'.
  6. Mostly alch rune legs... Highest alch value per rune bar (12,8k per bar) I like it alot more than smithing the sets and having to deal with noobs who want a 100% discount on the set anyways. P.S. No, I don't buy the bars... wouldn't be practical/profitable. Rune mining & smithing ftw :P
  7. rofl... a skill for merchants... Since that's all they do imo.
  8. Ok... I just quoted the things I wanted to comment on... I totally agree on the top 3 sentenses... I myself am a 99 smith and some weird ppl comment on how I could have gotten the skill in a mere month. True, it's possible... but, it's not like every high lvl is extremely wealthy and can afford to lvl up with the best material (loosing huge amounts of cash on the way)... there are some who went the slow way like me (iron smithing & smelthing all the way). ppl always asume that you use the quickest methood possible at the moment, when some might have gotten the lvl years before the x-options were added. 4th sentense: I don't agree with... How about con, smithing and crafting? Those are totally buyable but rather expencive. 5th sentense: what about fishing and wc'ing? Mining is faster than fishing if you powermine / flyfish (at least when I'm training). So wouldn't fishing make more sense? :P Anyways, all 99 skills are impressive in their own way imo :P
  9. Pretty much collect everything... Tools and beers mainly : Here's a pic of my top part of the bank where the collection is located (with the unimportant stuff blocked :P):
  10. I wonder what the 99 smithing cape will do since I'm a 99 smith :s It's not like a stat boost at smithing is going to do me any good unless there's something I could smith at lvl 100+, which is pretty much pointless. Maybe it won't be a stat boost at all, but access to the ability to make something new like gloves, boots, granite or something new and silly. Or maybe a increase in xp gained per ore/bar? Since it's jagex, we won't know till it's actually here
  11. holy!! just a few months after I reach 99 smithing they add capes for each 99 skill?! This month will own :D
  12. Hmm... a month you say? I'd make jagex triple the current bank space of both f2p and p2p (yes, I'm a collector...). I'd get jagex to add the ability of mining and wc'ing inside your own cave/garden at home at a rather high price (with a limit of course... Maybe make the butler refuse to bank whatever you mine/chop or something similar). I'd make jagex remove my melee stats and maybe move that xp to my rc. And finally.. Make beers easier to get =P~ (I collect all types of beers) Btw, I love that mining gulid idea you guy's were talking about :D Specially with the rune rocks! Also love the idea of making rocks like wood (get multiple ores per rock at random)
  13. lol? I've gotten lots of comments on my scythe when I'm walking around with mine :)
  14. I myself have a scythe and I would never trade it for a p-hat if it were possible. Scythes ftw :D
  15. Ahh, you posted my secret :anxious: Just reached 99 smithing 2 days ago (iron smelthing/smithing) and started doing this way of con training. It takes a while, but the cash that you save is worth it :) Specially when you chop your own oaks like me =P~
  16. I guess mine would be: my first rune item, early 2002 my santa hats, x-mas 2002 scythe, haloween 2003 99 fletching, january 2004 99 cooking, february 2004 85 mining, august 2006 99 smithing, coming 9th september 2006 my rune armour stand in my house, all the marble portals and furnutures along with my kq head reaching 100m cash without ever toutching merchanting (a.k.a. ALL from skill training) I could probably find more great achevements, but thease are the ones that come to mind for now :-k
  17. Here are a few pics from my house that I guess you could use. Gilded bench: Gilded dresser: Gilded throne: KQ head: Mahogany prize chest: Marble fireplace: Marble portal: Marble staircase: Opulent rug: Opulent table: Rune armourstand (which I'm VERY proud of =P~): Scrying pool: Edit: Here's more... lol Archery target: Marble attack stone: Steel [bleep]ed cage: Teak lever: Teak trapdoor:
  18. 300 - 600k with the same methood here (p2p wildy rune mining ftw) 600k would be if I never hit a world that has been mined already and never get attacked by pkers (which is pretty rare) I never sell my ores though, since I'm a rune smith as well. Just smith a few rune sets and sell them to some crazy high lvl pkers =P~
  19. No skill-related activity other than runecrafting beats dragons, so I think only non-skilling (merchanting, dueling, etc), creature killing with LOTS of luck, and runecrafting can make 1M+ per hour. One word... Rune mining... Depending on what you do with the ores (smith later on? Or sell the ores) and how/when you mine the ores (the less ppl online, the more ores you get), you can make more than 600k a hour mining.
  20. or just mine rune and get 600k a hour? Seriously... if you make 500k a hour merchanting, then I'm beating you with my skills :-k I prefer skilling. Simply because it's stable and i gain a x amount of cash no matter what I do, unlike merchanting. And I can't stand the idea that ppl are hording cash and gaining no xp at all while I'm gaining more (or somewhat close) than them by skilling AND getting xp at the same time =D> The game is about the levels after all, not the cash... There is no quest that requires millions of gp's to do.. Only quests which require skills :o
  21. well, the coal and iron aren't really collectables imo, I started out with 250k iron for 99 smithing... So the ores I have left is what I need for 99 (+500k xp). Also have a few other 99's banked, but since this is just a collection topic i didn't post my entire bank : And what do you meen by farming stuff? I didn't post any of my seed collection :-k Mainly trying to get 100k potatoe seeds (I'm at a mere 16k seeds atm though :/) Once I get 1k of all tools and beers I'll have to think of something else to collect :/ Although brewing stuff like cider and chef delight might take ages #-o It'll be worth it in the end! =P~ P.S. those are ashes, not soda ashes (I wish though  )
  22. My collections I guess. For the non belivers, my pm is usually on. I plan on getting 1k of every tool there is and 1k of every beer there is :)
  23. I am from: Iceland And I currently live in: MosfellsbÃÆÃâÃâær, Iceland Additional Comments: There are about 400 - 500 known Icelandic players, only around 100 active players (we keep track of our kind on a special forum :D)
