  1. This was my favorite, and still remains, my favorite guide to the GWD. the Kree'arra section could use a bit more information (Give me a PM should you desire) but still provides great guidelines. The sample inventories are very helpful, and it's good that you mix it up, and tell people to do so. Thank you. BTW, I used to solo Kee'arra very often. I know you aren't much for it, but it has helped me learn alot about GWD styles and mechanics. If you would like any help, please, ask me. I'm always up for a good talk.
  2. It is from blessed. BTW, why is this guide still here and bumped? The tactic is outdated and means sudden death.
  3. I must disagree with that. A Meleer risks a rune platebody (60k) rune legs (40k) and a neitiznot helm (50k) A magician with combinations will use 300k worth of runes. 60k if they decide to use a Seer's ring, and even more with INV and armor costs.
  4. Half? God no. Diamonds can hit mid 30s even without the specials. Rubies might be good, but when I tested them, even at the higher Hps, they didn't hit their full allotment. Titans are very much worth it. I can stay 15 kills a trip, using 2 combat potions and 2 range potions. Scrolls only cost around 240 gp, and for 8 points of healing and constant defense boosts, that is very reasonable. And about the GS, I had to knock down the demon's shield 3 times with the Gs, same with halberd. Maybe it isn't the most accurate of tests, but it still was timed to be about the same, plus the extra supplies used with the GS. I do agree with the faster kills, but a Beast of burden only increase your supplies used per trip. That's why I prefer titans. What attack level would you recommend? I know 99 is the best, but be realistic. Good guide otherwise. It isn't the best, but it is very comprehensive.
  5. I tested a Halberd and a GS, not exp, but I timed my kills, and I was basically getting the same results of time per kill, but I used way more supplies with the GS. I'd recommend against a Beat of Burden. It seems rather pointless when you can bank in 3 minutes. Healers, or even a combat familiar, would work much better, as it would provide Hp or keep the demon under constant attack. At higher ranged level, I would definitely say no the the ruby bolts. While you can land a few good hits, they are inaccurate with their specials, and, after 200 hp or so, diamonds do more damage. Make sure to have a handful of sapphire lanterns in your bank, should you die. I lost Void down there because I didn't: There is always a chance of death. Be safe, not sorry. BTW, would ti be worth it for me to get a defender? Attack 84 attack and 88 strength, my Melee's are terrible. Would the whip + defender be that much better than a halberd, and worth the extra supplies used?
  6. I've experienced something like that recently. If I brew above my HP, it doesn't go down. I'm not sure, might be a small bug.
  7. In duel areana, I tend to 3 combo 3/4ths of my opponents, around level 110-130, and, out of over 50 fights, I lost 2, and the guys were red-barred. Tell me how that needs a buff? As obli1v10nmage pointed out, it's only downside if not being able to stay in combat. That's why I love the duel arena, but alas, no loot to be found there anymore. And why would magic only work for clan wars? Castle War used to be THE GAME for ancient magicks, as well as old staking.
  8. Cripes, I shoulda bought a ZGS, then sold when I had enough cash for 99 construction. Ah well. Thank you for the input everybody. I can get 15-20 kills per trip using a titan currently with a halberd, but I hate using halberds and whips. Thanks anyways. Oh, and btw Comp, 88 summon would cost 40-45m, and I'd rather get myself 99 construction.
  9. I didn't understand why everybody was spreading that these bosses are hard. I ranged them all with a Magic short bow, and didn't use much food, maybe 8-12 monks.
  10. Wait. 5 doors per two trips, and he carries 24 things? 48 =/= 50 :P He carries 26, which leads to a surplus, but evens out after after 5 trips.
  11. The cape is only a secondary. The achievement is the actual satisfaction. I could have gotten an untrimmed HP cape, but I thought to myself, "Why? What makes untrimmed Hp better?" It doesn't. It isn't about the cape. I have yet to buy a range cape, only because I have no need for one. I have my magic cape and my Fire Cape; I don't like the Range cape's colors. Play the game how you want. don't worry about what others think of you. They will forget-in 2 minutes an go on with their life
  12. Now, I know I've asked this question before on this site's TD guide, but I never really received an answer. I am wondering if Magic, specifically Smoke Barrage, would be effective against Tormented demons. Do NOT tell me to use Claws or other god spells, I found them to inaccurate. Melee'ing with a halberd is to slow, and a whip is very supply intensive. My developed set-up would give me around 74 Magic attack, 120 range, and 11 prayer. I picked some barrage because it is the most accurate spell, and it poisons. Even though TD's supposedly cannot be poisoned, as Mithril Dragons cannot, Smoke spells poison the Mithril dragons, so, in theory, they out to poison the Demons. Any ideas? Thank you, Warrior5024
  13. It isn't about the cape.
  14. At a single ore location, I tend to get 30-40 ores per hour, sometimes a bit more.
  15. 2 more levels, then back to TDs. By the way, for anybody who can make over 400k an hour, Demon butler is better then the normal butler. HE is faster, and carries more planks. This means 5 doors per 2 trips, as opposed to 4 in that time.
  16. Why does a Firemaking tool help out mining so much?
  17. I'd stick with broads and Diamonds. Crystal bow is good, but only for long distances. Modern crossbows deal far more damage.
  18. It takes a bit of handling, but remember, your butler will hold your planks he has un-noted until you talk to him again. Just get planks from him, make a door (or 2, depending on how fast you are) talk to him to get planks, have him un-note, and finish off your 1-2 doors left in your inventory.
  19. Pfft, SC tools for construction are lame. Be a man, fork over 120m for no good reason! Use a demon butler. I just realized, at 93 construction, that, as long as you can make 400k an hour, he is better. You get 26 planks as opposed to 20, leading to 5 doors made in two rounds, as opposed to 4 in that time. 250k exp an hour is possible, maybe even a bit more. he does cost more (48 gp per plank, as opposed to 31.25) but the speed makes up for it. Good luck! I have 96 banked currently, going for 99 (No sc tools, I can't stand that minigame.)
  20. So because I pay 8 gp per 1 construction exp, and, by doing so, support the woodcutters and plank runners (low levels), Armored Zombie trainers, the magic trainers (Plank make), I am ruining the game?
  21. Heh, there's the 20m you needed, just in the nick of time :
  22. 11k Planks in 1 day. I coulda used more, but I decided to indulge, and spent a few hours barraging the hell out of people.
  23. Sorry guys, turns out that I'd need double what I had to barrage 88 summoning. One step closer to my favorite 99.
  24. All the numbers I'm getting aren't adding up. It should cost me double what D Jay estimated, since that exp only totals to be 1.3m summon exp.
  25. And it's also going to much less frequently hit a two. Hits cluster around the center, your average damage is the same. Agree *points at my earlier post* I fail with quotations.
