When Duo'ing TD's, I bring along Heal Other and Special Transfer runes for my partner, since the meleer is prone to taking more damage, so withe Extra SGS specs help, and when that doesn't work, I can heal him up. Well, today we went down, and he was at a very low Hp, and the Demon hits a string of damage, and he dies. Well, before he dies, I click to heal him. What happened was, the spell was cast, he kneels over, and I took 69 damage that SHOULD have gone toward healing my partner. Because of this spell damage and without any other target the demon turns to me and proceeds to take out the 25 HP I have left. God bless 5 minute gravestones, or I'd be 30m down the drain. I'm just upset that, even though the spell didn't heal, I still got damage.

If I see you NOT using combination spells, I will chain you into my dungeon to forever drown in my tentacle pool. LEARN AND USE MAGIC COMBINATIONS. And tell me how miasmic's perform.

For the record, this isn't about magic. Range can compete with Melee. After level 110 it gets harder, but certainly it. It is very accurate, and has many possible combinations around it. Combine with Veng to make it an amazing Pk'ing KO. Dragonfire bolts can dish over 60 damage, Diamonds are accurate and can hit through armor's defenses, Morg's Javelins dish amazing damage, the magic short is the King vs low defenses.

Magic's maximum is 62, and that also freezes and halves your enemies attack speed. Melee CAN hit 110, but not in PvP. As shown in my Combo Charts, most Spell Combos deal around 24-30 damage ON AVERAGE. A whip does around a 20-25 average damage, plus, if frozen, can't hit, or KO the magician at all. The triangle is fine. Using melee or range I have been able to equal my clan wars KC like when I do with Magic. The damage and effects are devastating. You can't just auto-cast ice burst and expect great things.

Except that this was originally started on Truthscape, and is, in my opinion, a much cooler idea. I've always wanted to try it, but I'd just have to pick up a bronze pick, mine 2 ores, sell them, buy rune pick, then mine for 2 hours. THIS THREAD IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT THEN THE "BE SEF-SUFFICIENT" ONE! This one was started months ago.

I enjoy construction. I'll have spent 120m on it soon. Each coin worth it. I find the skill to be fun, and it has personalitiy: no two hosues are the same. It's so original, but not useful after gilded alter. Why do I do it? For fun. I enjoy it.

You gotta shoot it until ti degrades into a seed. You cannot sell 10/10 bows, or fully charged ones. Only seeds or "new" ones.

How would raising the Buffer help? Even if we got 50 more HP or so, that's only an extra 2 and a half sharks. In PvP, you still shouldn't eat above 75% of your HP level. Yes, perhaps it would mean less one hits, but 1 hits are very hard to pull off, and can be very easily avoided.

In response to Walka, the TSC won't always work. It is very tricky to pull off but, as Lite stated, running towards the opponent helps. Just keep practicing, you'll get it eventually. However, unless your enemy is praying/armor swapping very quickly, I'd suggest just sticking to normal magic combos. Which CAN be used to KO, despite what Night states. It is tricky, and you need to be a bit lucky but, as you see in the Combo Graphs (1.4), most hits tend to focus toward the 27-30s, and combine that with a few high hits, and your opponent is down. In duels or Clan Wars, I tend to only use three combos on one person before they are dead. Magic is not under-powered: it just needs a way to be considered in combat while fighting from long distances. Well, I changed the Combo charts to graphs, making them much easier on the eyes. Hopefully they will be used, I liked the data they showed. I made one for the TSC, but, because of it's different hits, it made it very hard to graph: I was working with over 20,000 hit combinations. Perhaps if I get requests I will pull it out, but, as of now, it seems rather pointless.

Magic short is a great weapon, but might be to inaccurate for these purposes. Also, high hits are preferred here over low ones, as they swap prayers after 31 damage or more. For first time, or even experienced duo'ers, I'd suggest the Ranger utilize the "Special transfer" and "heal other" lunar spells. As the meleer with a GS has a very good special, it would be worth it for the extra damage (AGS) or healing (SGS). Since they tend to take more damage then rangers aswell, it is helpful to Heal the warriors

Just had a thought: A dragon spear special "shoves" adn enemy one square away, and stuns them. Would this be useful for the tank, if graar'dor gets on a non-tank? Just shove him 3-4 times until he focuses on you? Or at GWD to big to shove? I'm an oddball when it comes to tactic ideas.

When I first found tip.it forums, I was in awe. Leesters, QueenValeare, Trojaan2, Muggiwhplar, Hohto, Airless_wig and many, many other great people. They were great and, though I never knew any of them personally, they made me feel a sense of pride. Time goes, people quit, communities change, but I must say that, thought change is inevitable, I don't enjoy this one. Yes, more people is good, sort of, but it isn't a homely feel. The community and perspectives of some people are just, scary. I really only stay on tip.it nowadays because I've grown to like the set-up, and I hope, that maybe we'll see some great players like there once were.

Wanna know something funny? When me and my old partner Duo'd, he had 83 Pourfondeur, while I had 80. I managed to get KC faster, and he got it faster before he focused on mage's. Heh. Great level, nonetheless! Slayer is one skill I cannot stand anymore. Zombie monkeys for me from now on! Best of luck at Zilyana aswell. Don't get comfortable with her, she's a beast.
