Magic underpowered? Think again! ~+~+OVER-HAULED~+~+
Normal Magic 17-pause-27-pause Combo pause-17-27-pause During the pauses your opponent eats. Now, if the combo gets your opponent down to 0 health, he cannot eat, as he is dead. With regular casting, he can eat in between both hits, easily healing through them both. Granted, If your opponent has a high HP, using magic only combos isn't necessary, but it is the only way to KO opponents in food fights with using only magic. I dunno if I'll be including the DFS combo. It is fun, but very impractical, and the Blessed Spirit Shield is MUCH better then the DFS for Magic.

All Fired Up Firemaking Training
When he made this guide, it was possible to get those exp rates, because you would continuously receive the 14th beacon bonus. I'm not sure if it still works, as Jagex messed with it awhile back

Orks in GWD with combat familiar (Iron/Abyssal/Lava titan)
This is basically a different version of Muggi's zombie monkies - Very Fast exp, and AFK. Dunno if I'll use this, but it is a good guide. I'd like to see your others.

Underrated Items
Ahrim's Hood is almost NEVER used in an PvP situation, yet it is very cheap and effective. Very helpful for range/mage tanks who don't like their opponents running away. I've NEVER seen Smoke Barrage used, Ice maybe, but Smoke barrage is one of the most accurate spells, with a great effect, and no-body bothers with it. Here I will agree with you, to some extent. The special bar can be used for many things: Extra damage, defense boosts, healing ect. The Seercull both lowers your opponents magic defense AND prevents further magical attacks. When Maging, this is very useful. Enhanced excaliber, how can anyone say this is underrated? I always see people using and talking about this, it's a good item but it's definitely not underrated. BH perhaps, but are there every used where they are actually effective? I' using Lunar support spells more and more in TD's and GWD. They might be commonly used, but sometime the WAY they are used that makes them unique.

The new slayer monster.
It won't be magic armor Why? Look at the difference between Ahrim's magic offense and Zuriel's. Not much difference. No middle ground to work with. Torgs - Bandos - Vesta's are completely different, each one bulding on the next. Torags starts out with just defence, Bandos gets Defence and Strength, and Vesta's is amaing with Stats that trump Bandos anyday. The difference between Ahrim's and Zuriels? 3-5 points. Not much to work with.

Another Summoning/Waterfiend topic
Bored and with no goals, I've debated attempting to get 88 summoning. It would take nearly 7k Crimsons from 80, and 11.7m for the costs, which I'm willing to spend. However, the problem arises: How do I get the charms? Waterfiends have never been good for me, they seem to take forever, but Rock lobsters would increase my costs by 3-4 times the current price tag. At 85 Attack, 89 Strngt, 80 prayer, and use Void Melee, how many crimsons could I gain within an hour? Also, is the 5% or 10% strength prayers more efficient? Thank you for the help, Warrior5024

Melee, Ranging, and Two Slight Diversions
Would a D2H spec be useful in taking out massive amounts of Apes on low HP? The spec can hi up to 14 enemies, so could take out a good chunk of HP, and and be used fairly often, as it only takes up 60% of the spec bar.

Best Magic Setup
Now if only I could score that Arcane.....

70 prayer?
Yes. Prayer is one of the most useful skills in terms of boss hunting, It may not seem like it, but when I went from 70-80, it made a HUGE difference.

Should I sell....
Lately, I've found less and less use for my DFS. I intend to finally get a Rune Defender soon and, with Blessed sprit shields so cheap and effective, I'm wondering: Should I cash in my DFS? I hardly kill any dragons anymore, so that feature isn't particularly useful, plus the Defender would be better for training and Combat. I'd purchase a Blessed Spirit shield in it's place for when I need to Defence/prayer, and it would give me some extra spending money. I'm not asking "when should i sell it for the most profit," I'm just wondering whether it would be a wise decision. Thank you

Magic underpowered? Think again! ~+~+OVER-HAULED~+~+
The DFS combo DOES work, I just need to get around to writing it. Since I'm on a Mac, the video you sent isn't readable, but we'll figure something out. For anybody who wants to use this, it is totally impractical because of the 2 minute DFS spec wait, but it's fun. Heh, my max is currently 28-29 aswell, but it's amazing that you hit 30-29! Keep up the good work and keep having fun. The cost makes it impractical, plus, if your opponent is frozen, why bother with slowing their weapons? I've never used Zuriel/Maismic anyways, but I'm swore off of PK'ing. I've lost to much there. Tried what with a Dark Bow? I use it more and more now that Dragon Arrows are super cheap. I tend to use two TSC then a Decent of Dragons spec. It tends to decimate most. I'm glad you've found it useful, and I hope you have a much fun with it as I have. I've personally never used Axes, but LLamster pointed out that they may be to slow. The only weapon that I find to work best is Karil's Cross, but test out whatever you want, maybe you'll find something. I know that the bursts are instant, but they aren't accurate or hit had enough to really be useful. 88 Magic is when you really get some power. I'll be sure to credit you once I update the guide, you did a marvelous job! Well, currently I'm getting my Void melee and range back (AGAIN), but after that, I'm not sure what I'm doing. I'll be looking for new places to use magic and new tactics to add. If anybody has any ideas, please tell me. I'm open to anything, and nothing is to crazy for my tastes.

Nomoredead's Blog - 99 Slayer Accomplished - Now on to 99 Smithing
It's been to long since I've posted. And you've gotten alot done  Keep up the work! 85 Slayer will be fun! PS: I've developed a new GWD tactic, and I'm building up a team for it. It's trio, so we'll get good splits, and I'd love for you to come.

Brainymidget's Dagannoth Kings Guide
For solo Maging (Or any maging) I find the fruit bat to the THE BEST. It heals 80 hp per special bar and, because of the time between spawns, the micro-management is no problem.

Is magic too weak??
But what about the Defense? The meleer can wear Karils/D hide and retain the same offensive capabilities. Offensive, but not defensive. Dark bow spec will quickly take care of them if they swap to Ranger armor.

What dragons are you looking at? Mithrils?

Is magic too weak??
An average Ice Barrage + Shadow Barrage combo is about 29-30 damage. Whip is maybe 24 damage on average. Check out the combo graphs in my guide. Don't believe me? Do the math yourself. There is only 1 way to hit 0, 2 ways to hit 1, 3 ways to hit 2 ect ect. Then go down: 1 way to hit 58, 2 ways to hit 57, until you reach the mid-point. That is where your damage will be most frequent. That's not including the effects of the spells.

D mace is alot better than dds for pking yes?
And the Dragon Long is still under-ratted. It's very accurate and deals heavy damage.

Is magic too weak??
Magic's maximum is 62, and that also freezes and halves your enemies attack speed. Melee CAN hit 110, but not in PvP. As shown in my Combo Charts, most Spell Combos deal around 24-30 damage ON AVERAGE. A whip does around a 20-25 average damage, plus, if frozen, can't hit, or KO the magician at all. The triangle is fine. Using melee or range I have been able to equal my clan wars KC like when I do with Magic. The damage and effects are devastating. You can't just auto-cast ice burst and expect great things. Spell combos are useless illusions, as you use the time for 2 spells to deal 2 hits. With DDS special you use the time for 1 attack to deal 2 hits (there is no initial delay in DDS special). Let's say you hit two 24s with a combo. During the casting of the spells (including all delays) your opponent eats 2 sharks which reduces the damage done to 8. If you hit two 24s with a DDS special, your opponent can eat once and you still have damaged the opponent for 28 HP. The comboes would be useful only if you could hit the opponent two times without the initial delay. [/hide] You do realize that, in PvP, it is better to have more damaging attacks at once, then two separate attacks? That is because your objective is to get your opponents hp to 0 despite and healing they might do. The two attacks together might kill your opponent, so they cannot eat again, as opposed to using just one type of spell, when they can eat between both. Without comboes: hit-eat-hit-eat or eat-hit-eat-hit With comboes: eat-hit-hit-eat If the Combo works, they won't get the eat that second time after. They will each 0 HP before they can eat. That's the point.

Armored Zombies vs Zombie Monkeys
From what I've seen though the charms they drop are pretty insignificant. Plus, I can make 450k an hour steadily, so I don't much care about picking up a few oak planks (I'm done with Oak planks, after 200k of them! #-o ) I'd rather get my melees up quickly and go to Waterfiends then receive minimal charms from zombies.

Armored Zombies vs Zombie Monkeys
Lately, to raise my Melees, I've been training at Zombie Monkeys because of the relative Afk'ness, little cost, and great Exp. However, many have been praising Armored Zombies, and I'm wondering if they make that much of a difference to switch? I enjoy Zombie Monkeys, and, since the 50k an hour cost isn't drastic, they make for good training, but is it worth it to switch? I am currently 84 Attack, 88 Strength, and 94 Defense. Thank you, Warrior5024
