  1. Is that Gene Hunt in your avatar? And Wolpertinger.
  2. No. I was wearing d'hide, msb and a team cape and archer helm, he was wearing Fire Cape, Torso Claws etc, I attacked him with veng already up and ready to veng again, he specced me I venged his spec then venged his second spec then did msb spec killing him and dying in the process. I tried to tell people this combo worked amazingly agaisnt claw'ers, but it was ignored. Thanks for using it, and congratulations.
  3. Yes, it is more practical to get 90 in all stats, but let me say this: Construction is the most fun skill. Designing and building houses, while wasting all that cash, is sooooo satisfying. I could have gotten 99 Prayer or Herblore, but I spent 140m on Construction anyways, because it is such a great Skill.
  4. I'm on my second day of school. Started the 3rd. Bite me. On topic, anybody have any insight on the Arcane Spirit Shield? (Why does nobody use it's abbreviation?) What is the lowest it will drop, ect ect.
  5. I used to solo Kree'arra fairly often, and am rather experienced, so if you need ideas, please ask. I would mind telling some of my secrets.
  6. I gotta work on a new PvP world section. So many updates, and now Magic is the best for PvP, I believe. Gotta try some new stuff out.
  7. Congratulations! I know how solo Hilts feel ^.^ If you are writing a guide, please, take my information. It has been ages since I've been, but I still remember good tactics.
  8. I'm back after my one month break! And I have a Major Update for the Guide! July 26 Added information about: Blessed spirit Shield Zanik's Crossbow Dark Bow Verac's Set Whip + Defender Void Knight I also have a new section! Hybrid Tactics. You may find them in Section 6. Thank you everybody, and enjoy.
  9. Do you think I could manage at this spot with 90 Attack and strength, 99 Magic, and 80 prayer, using a Spirit Dagganoth? I know it won't be as effective as other methods, but I love some fast fun charms.
  10. Why does nobody appriciate your guides? I found this revolutionary, great for 92+ summoners. Thank you for researching it and finding great methods. I'd love to use this spot, but I'd need a Wolpertinger (In my dreams) and decent Melees. Oh well, still seems liek alot of fun and efficiency. Thank you for great guide #2
  11. God forbid they learn and use safe-spots -.- Well, I'll be back in about a week, and I have a rather large amount of information ready to add, including new armors and weapons, aswell as Hybrid tactics. Off topic, I'd love to see arcanes around 30-40m, so I could afford one. I've wanted that since they first came out, a pity Magic didn't work at Corp.
  12. Castle Wars is dead. I loved the game, but now, it's forgotten. In a time of efficiency, people don't want fun. They want the exp and rewards, sadly. Best Minigames: Castle Wars, Gnome restaurant, Temple Trekking, and BArbarian Assault, with a good team. Gamnes that require preparation, but that you can always have fun doing. Worst: I don't find Stealing creation fun at all, or Soul Wars. No tactics, just rush and kill.
  13. Well, bye bye cheap Phoenix necklace prices. I've known about this for awhile now (Thank you Muggiwhplar) and it works amazingly to prevent Kos. While it does shine with multiple attacks, it still works wonders against a whip or Godsword, as long as they hit between around 1-23 Hp, you will be healed, so no more red-barring, and its healing without an attack turn gone. Wish i stocked up on em before I left now
  14. Thanks for the replys everybody! I hope you all can use this skill with tactics and fun, as I do. Well, I'm going to be leaving for about a month, so no update from me, but I've asked Muggiwhplar, and he's agree'd to keep this guide in good shape until I return, should there be an update or new tactic ect. Have fun out there everybody!
  15. Well, my costume room goal brought me to the east, to save the town from vampyres by evacuating the civilians and escorting armies, to search for the Lumber-jack set for my armor case. Here is one days loot: Which turned into: Definitely a fun way to make money. I only need the Top to complete full lumberjack, and I'ma keep the shades for Splitbark cremation, and the Vyre's for burning aswell. Well, I'm off of RS for a month, off to the mountains : Have fun out there
  16. Well, in an attempt to fill up my armor wardrobe with 100% Self sufficiency, I was taking to killing Vampryes on a Temple Trek, and one of them gave me a clue. Glad I didn't drop it. 2 Robins and 1 Ranger boots from clues. Not putting these in my house when they are 7m
  17. Dragonhide armour pieces are defence items. Not ranged. Even though dragonhide armour gives offensive ranged bonus, you must use a ranged weapon to use the bonus. You're not able to inflict ranged damage just with the armour. To be a hybrid, you must use ATTACKS from at least two different combat styles. Unless you consider a character with armour and a melee weapon to be a hybrid of melee and defence. Defence can be trained with ANY form of combat. It isn't a Melee only skill, so it isn't hybriding just to wear armor, only if you use armor that turns the triangle to your favor, which is what Dragonhide does. Which is why you can freeze, move back, safe spot, and slow weapon speed. And then be hit with dragon claws and downed for max mage. That's the one problem with mage; otherwise it'd be fine alone. Agree'd. No argument here. That guide was made to show Magic is useful as a primary, aswell as show some good combat tactics. I Dm'ed my friend in Duel arena today, he tanked Ranged, I Mage'd in full Ahrim's. Beat him 80% of the time, even when he had a Dark Bow to hit me, even if I was 10 squares away.
  18. Wiht my void set up, I get 39 Magic attack AND 154 Range Defence, aswell as 8 prayer. That offers more defence then the recommended Tank set up, with still fairly good offensive capabilities.
  19. 'Allo again. To poor/motivated to get 88 summon, sitting on top of 14m, and the need to find something to do between TD trips, I came up with the idea of getting 85 Smithing. Dunno why, just seems liek a neat idea. Well, making Adamant Arrowheads, I lose 4.128 gp per exp, not to bad. It'll cost 9.9m for 85, without SC, and don't tell me to do SC. I hate it, it's not worth it for me. Does anybody know the exp per hour with this method, or can offer any input as to the usefulness of the goal or other potential methods? Thank you, Warrior5024
  20. Funny enough, it is because of "pk'ers" like you why I don't use these tactics on PvP worlds or BH. Pj'ers, rushers, and the general rest of the PK'ing community make it nearly impossible to have a good 1 on 1 fight, which is how I prefer it. Yes, I've Pk'ed with Magic and honor. Imagine that.
  21. Number 4. Dunno what to do next. Got a clue, and a Dharok set. Maybe I'll go to fiends, or Td's, should prayer potions ever buy again.
  22. You're begging to get siggied, aren't you. I know, it's just sad  I love you, Ralph. Seems fun, I'm glad my agility is rather high, can't wait to test it. About the whole mining/wc/fishing thing, I don't think it should stay.
  23. Right, because your way is the only way to PK. 61 Damage (Miasmic + Blood) does have KO potential, as does a Karil's Cross when using the TSC. Dark bow with a Smoke Barrage before can decimate a Safe-spotted ranger, or even magician. Magic short bow spec followed by a Blood Barrage can deal massive damage very quickly. Don't be so quick to dispell this information. Just because one method works for you doesn't mean that it is the only method.
  24. A question the OP didn't answer. I didn't think it was necessary, what with all of page 8 being devoted to it. Magic does have some KO power. That is all combo's show. People have hit 30-29 in one turn, and, as I've heard, you can even hit a 32-30. [wagon] my combo graphs show, most of the hits tend to focus around 24-30 damage per combo. That seems fair, as a whip maybe has a 24 damage average. I always keep magic tab open, so that I can utilize it. The TSC has KO'ed many, especially in duel tournaments. It is very easy to bring an opponents HP down fast with only a handful of spells, then use the combo while the shock factor is still in place. Or, when they thaw and run for you, blitz + Blood combo, it'll knock em down. Safe-spotting is easy, and can be used anywhere except duel tournaments. And most fighting now-a-days in PJ'ing anyways, so that doesn't shock me. What's great about karils is that you can put a magic spell before or after you shoot, confusing your enemy and stacking more hits.
