  1. Magic's maximum is 62, and that also freezes and halves your enemies attack speed. Melee CAN hit 110, but not in PvP. As shown in my Combo Charts, most Spell Combos deal around 24-30 damage ON AVERAGE. A whip does around a 20-25 average damage, plus, if frozen, can't hit, or KO the magician at all. The triangle is fine. Using melee or range I have been able to equal my clan wars KC like when I do with Magic. The damage and effects are devastating. You can't just auto-cast ice burst and expect great things. Spell combos are useless illusions, as you use the time for 2 spells to deal 2 hits. With DDS special you use the time for 1 attack to deal 2 hits (there is no initial delay in DDS special). Let's say you hit two 24s with a combo. During the casting of the spells (including all delays) your opponent eats 2 sharks which reduces the damage done to 8. If you hit two 24s with a DDS special, your opponent can eat once and you still have damaged the opponent for 28 HP. The comboes would be useful only if you could hit the opponent two times without the initial delay. You do realize that, in PvP, it is better to have more damaging attacks at once, then two separate attacks? That is because your objective is to get your opponents hp to 0 despite and healing they might do. The two attacks together might kill your opponent, so they cannot eat again, as opposed to using just one type of spell, when they can eat between both.
  2. You made my heart jump when you said this. I some my runite ores, grabbed some runes, and tried this. They still work fine for me, smoke and ice barrage are SLOW spells though. Blood and Shadow are the only instant. And concerning the DFS, I'm not sure about that. It would be interesting to see, perhaps you or I could try it? PS: I'd love to update this guide on TS forums, but the account review I sent in JAnuary still hasn't come back. Would you mind A) Posting this new one, or B) Help me get an account? Really? You think so? I can kill both rangers and warriors with Magic. Even en-mass. You have to pay for the advantage, and Magic is the only combat skill that actually takes skill. This is the only problem I can find with Magic: You aren't considered in combat when you aren't being hit. I dunno how Jagex could change that, but it is the only reason why I don't go into BH with only Magic.
  3. Tell me how this isn't beautiful Points at sig aswell. In all seriousness, I find that untrimmed Prayer is rather good looking
  4. And would it change anything? I suppose this is on RSOF for how magic will be changed. It sounds likes Combos might be able to be auto-casted, but maybe I'm reading and interpreting it wrong. Seems rather trivial anyways, as Ahrim's staff is a better choice for PK'ing with risk, and master wands are the very best and cheap. Thank you, and I need to thank the creator of this video! This is what my Guide has needed for awhile!
  5. Cape #1 Cape #2 Cape #3 For my 3rd cape, I decided to use Dark bow for the 360 and 90 waves, to 1-hit the 90s, and used Obsidian rings for the 90s and below. They work extremely well for anybody who wants to try.
  6. LOL true :P That money got used other places I guess :P -- btw how'd that fishing challenge go? Currently 1907 Total with 63 fishing : I'm still trying! Keep up the good work! I've missed reading this, you are a fun RS player. Best of luck.
  7. Got bored, so I figured I'd get another Fire Cape. This makes 2 banked, since I lost my first one Dharoking Bork. Cape #1 Cape #2 Cape #3 Yes, I play in Low Detail now. So much better. This was a fun challenge: I decided to use Dark bow for the 360 and 90 waves, to 1-hit the 90s, and used Obsidian rings for the 90s and below. They work extremely well for anybody who wants to try.
  8. That may be true, looking at old staking videos, but I wouldn't know for sure. All I can tell you is I've preformed the combo many recent times with success, and I can do Barrage combos as effective as blitz. Perhaps they are a bit slower, but it is still duo'able. YEs, you may. But if it could be any help to others, I'd rather have you ask here.
  9. Will we ever be granted a boss hunt together? Or a house party? Maybe a minigame?
  10. Hardly. Mining is rather quick, 60-70k an hour, or 40k an hour unfocused, and easy. Runecrafting is very, very dull, aswell as having a terrible exp rate, with it's very max, at 99, being around 40k an hour. Slayer is much easier, simply because you have scene changes.
  11. I did it once with the old PC. It was me, 1, maybe 2 other friends, and it was on accident. We managed to hold the monsters back for long enough, while still trying to attack the portals. It was odd, but fun. I really outa go back and get my Void. PC isn't to bad, it just gets tedious.
  12. The magic short is fast and accurate, as well as able to use MANY magic combos with it. I can do more damage with a MSB then a Dark Bow most of the time and, while the rune cross is a great weapon, magic short isn't left in the dust by it. I can kill more Dragon Claw'ers with a magic short then a Rune cross.
  13. I doubt if you remember me, but we talked on your old blog. I told you how I was going to beat your 1800 total without fishing guild access, but, because of the new skills, i'll need to have 2000-2100 total : You were always an idol to me in the first few years, and it's great to see you are still playing. BTW, wasn't Bowser's 100m present to you for Construction? You are about two years late on that one
  14. And a Black body protects over Ahrim's Hood. It's the way it works. Off topic: Ahrim's Hood is cheaper then Farseer, and has a much lower protect value. Use that in the future.
  15. I find the Magic Short Bow to be a great weapon while I'm maging. It has great speed and can deal fast, accurate damage. I'm enjoying our cheap rune arrows so far.
  16. Zerker Pures are fun. They are hard to pull off, what with not being able to retrieve Capes and Torsos anymore, but I still like them You've done a great job so far!
  17. These are the kind of goals I love to see Best of luck!
  18. Look at my 90 and 99 Con pictures. You'll see them. It's people like you that made my publish my Magic Guide, and keep playing. Thank you. Thank you for the posts everybody. When I log on, I'll be having house parties, so, if you want a visit, get your combat gear! 8-)
  19. That is a beautiful picture, and an even better achievement. Congratulations :
  20. Pfft, SC hammers. Lame. Still, nice 99 ;) Good job
  21. Got 98 yesterday.... Check out my topic in Rate This please. I'm so happy!
  22. 140m spent. 200k oak planks. 98 Levels. 72 hours of training. 30 Rooms. 6m in Butler fees. 2 Glorious Crystal Thrones. 1 Amazing Goal. Well, I have quiet a story. As some of you remember, or care about, I managed a solo Armadyl Hilt back when they were 141m, the day of the trade restrictions. It changed my RS career. With that money, I went from 64-70 construction, so I could build a gilded alter. Well, later, I had 60m left over from that hilt, and no idea what to do with it. I decided to achieve 90 Construction, an a crystal throne. I found the skill very enjoyable, and quickly fell in love with designing, gathering materials, and building my house into a mansion. Once I reached my goal of 90, I deiced not to train it again: I thought I had achieved my goal. Nearly a year later, I remember the skill. How much fun I had with it, and how much I loved it. I thought to myself, "For a joke, lets see how much it would cost." 55m for the planks, and even more for butler fees. Bloody hell, why not? I fired up the old Kree'arra solo'ing techniques, and was off to attempt to raise 60m. I managed to raise 10m to buy 92 before becoming broke again. There was no way in hell I could mine 60m worth of runite, so down into the dungeon I went. I quickly realized how costly trips were. I was using 220k worth of supplies atleast, for only 4-6 kills, and the odds of a drop were miniscule. I looked around the rest of the world, trying to find a viable combat option for money. The answer came in the form of Tormented Demons. I had to raise some 31 QP, but I was down the in lair where the Stone once was, and slaying the Demons. After losing my Void melee and range, I find my rhythm for the killing, and find myself with a Claw drop. Celebrate! 96 Construction banked! Training is tedious, but fast. Still, I needed a break, so I went back down to TD's. Low-and-behold, after a handful of kills, I am granted with my second Claws. There's 99! Now I just need the time and focus, something I haven't been known for having. Still, thanks to my clan chat, I made it. Onto the levels. No SC tools, no Mahogany Tables, no Demon Butler, no mousekeys. Good old fashion training. The drops that funded my Goal [hide=] [/hide] Level 51-60 [hide=] [/hide] Levels 61-70 [hide=] [/hide] Levels 71-80 [[hide=]IMG]http://i720.photobucket.com/albums/ww208/Airless_Wing/71Construction.png[/img] [/hide] Levels 81-89 [hide=] [/hide] Level 90 Levels 91-98 [hide=] [/hide] And now... This is without a doubt, my favorite achievement to date. I've worked extremely hard for it, and it has all paid off. I have a House Design that, if you would like to see/play in, come to world 31 Rimmington anytime soon, or just PM me. I dunno what is next. I'll be hosting house parties in world 31, but, more importantly, I have exams soon, as well as a Summer to look forward too. Thank you for reading. I really do appreciate it, and I hope that I inspire somebody to go for a crazy goal, or do what they want, because it's all about fun. As long as you have fun, you are doing what you love.
  23. Tomorrow. My house (I think). 99 construction. Hopefully. Keep on creating life and helping plants survive. Veggies unite
  24. Even thought WGS and afterwards hsa made me 60m or so, Recipe for Disaster was the best quest I ever did. Fun rewards, great story lines, easy to hard requirements. That was the most enjoyable quest I ever did.
  25. School and just lack of motivation made me loss a week of training, but here it is: 99 will be soon. I'm re-thinking my house design, so we'll see how that goes.
