D. V. Devnull replied to Blaze The Movie Fan's topic in Forum Games
11,751 BTW, did anyone know there's a big cake for completing the countdown properly? :anxious: ~Mr. D. V. Devnull -
Superheating Iron? 50% loss of Ores/Bars?
D. V. Devnull replied to Skilling0wn's topic in Help and Advice
He's right, I can confirm. He?!?!? Last I heard, Sunli is a SHE... And as for Superheat, you never lose any ores on it. Just the nature and fire runes are used up. 8-) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull -
Seanthorn, craft only in ratios that you'd use for battle as a mage... This will result in optimum exp, both in creation and usage. That and you'll love to see monsters die at your hands and drop gratuitous stuff to pick up. ~Mr. Devnull

F2P going P2P! Need advice (bank and stats included)!
D. V. Devnull replied to King_Ankh's topic in Help and Advice
There's not much you can do with your limited F2P room... Go P2P, then stock up on materials for making stuff. Then train anything that is below Level 75, starting with prayer and P2P-only skills... And good luck to you in P2P-land. 8-) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull -
Runecraft to rc lvl 50, then come play "Great Orb Project"... You'll be happy at the doubled rc'ing exp you can gain. Mine and smith/craft if you wish to just dive into money-making stuff. But I think you'd prefer the relax in the restart. 8-) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull

What's best rune to make for rc? Give your opinion!
D. V. Devnull replied to poor_cowboy's topic in Help and Advice
poor_cowboy, craft your runes so that you can use them on magic training. This is really the only good way to go about it, and that's if you wish to obtain the absolute maximum exp gains from the runes you're making. :geek: ~Mr. Devnull -
slaytanicc, disinfect your PC and change your pass. Trigger your recoveries if you need to... :geek: ... And good luck rebuilding that cash stack. : ... I hope the jerk that did this to you burns in hell. ~Mr. Devnull

Better to be popular than to be considered useless, right? BTW, I've been seeing some lag while reporting/posting... Was wondering if anyone could give insight, especially when not seeing this lag while just reading? :-k ~D. V. Devnull

"Customs", if I understand correctly, are like what "Mods" are to Unreal Tournament and Quake 3... And from what runescapeloser22 has said, they have to be in the same directory as the game program itself, which unluckily leaves runescapeloser22 a little out-of-space where they need it. :( (Maybe he ought to drop GH3 until he's got the room, and go play "StepMania" in the meanwhile until he gets the Hard Disk room he needs? :| ...) ~D. D. V. Devnull replied to im1knight's topic in Tech and Computers
In that case, try making sure your keyboard keys are not stuck while scrolling. (I get the impression that this is what is happening, that your modifier keys are getting stuck, causing what you're seeing, but I could be wrong.) ~D. V. Devnull -
Sinkhan, try ranging the minotaurs for a while, and rack up a load of Iron Arrows... Once you have about 2k arrows, then try going to the Catablepons near the 3rd floor prize room, and range at those a while, dodging in and out of the safespot to retrieve your arrows and drops. This should eventually result in your getting a nice stack of Mithril Arrows. : And BTW, yes, Catablepons do drop Mithril Arrows, and Ankous drop Adamant Arrows... I know from my personal experience in battle down there. 8-) Also, never use white knights for melee, unless you're in a team. Sadly, those white knights use crush-type attacks like as if they are going out of style, and it can do a lot of damage if you have platebody-type armor on. Range/Mage seems to work better on them. :| ~Mr. D. V. Devnull

Hi, I've put in a request to have this thread moved to 'Tech & Computers"... Even though the question you're asking is over my head a little, I am sure that you'll be able to get more help over in the other board, haloffx... : ~Mr. D. V. Devnull

You'll only break it if you try to move it... Period. -.- Instead, like I said in another thread, move off your music/documents/etc. that are not programs to that network drive, thereby both giving you room for programs/games, and keeping your docs/music/etc. safe in the event anything awful happens to your laptop. Heck, you ought to make backups to that network drive every so often, too. :) And in case you're curious, wherever you install your program is where the registry data will point the program to, so if the program's own data isn't in the right place, you'd be rather [bleep]ed on program launch. And that's not counting whatever is hidden within the program's own code. :| Sorry to be a 'bummer'... :( ~D. V. Devnull

D. V. Devnull replied to jirenma2001us's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
LOL  ... Putting on gravestones only would tell anyone but the player who wants to know. So that wouldn't be very effective at all. How about making it an option to ask the 'Lumby Guide' about when you began RuneScape??? Just seems like that would work infinitely better, and there could also be an option while talking with the guide to be able to show it publically and/or on gravestones! [EDIT: Just sigged a link to this thread to show my support for it. Here is to the hope that it draws more supporters in!] ~Mr. D. V. Devnull -

D. V. Devnull replied to dustin's topic in Tip.Iters Events, Groups, and Teams
"Free-for-all (Dangerous)"?!?!?!? WTF?!?!?!? Sorry, but I won't be there... Too many bank issues. If you'd really wanted people joining easy, you should have made it "Free-For-All (Safe)"... :shame: (And gee, I would have come to watch if it had been in the safe area, even if I hadn't joined in.) ~Mr. D. Just an odd end to clean up here... LOL :P ... I know... However, I would figure they would post back if it didn't work, at which point I would start thinking of other possibilities as to what's going on. :geek: ~D. V. Devnull -

im1knight, clear your browser cache and then try those pages again. It sounds to me like the css for those pages got damaged and a new copy wasn't downloaded. :-k ~Mr. D. V. Devnull -
Ability To Withdraw A Vote
D. V. Devnull replied to InkofDeath's topic in Forum Updates and Suggestions
I'm gonna have to hop on the "YES" bandwagon with this one. I've had this dismal situation happen to me at least once in the past. So even though this happens rarely, it could still happen, and therefore leaves valid reason to implement the ability to withdraw/change... : [Edit: BTW, I'm noticing this poll doesn't have the ability to change it. LOL  ...] ~Mr. D. V. Devnull -
