CountDown From 15K - COUNTDOWN FINISHED!!!!
D. V. Devnull replied to Blaze The Movie Fan's topic in Forum Games
11,686 Hmm... That sounds too much like a number that is paired with a type of CPU for a PC. :geek: ~D. V. Devnull -
Lock Wallpaper Windows XP HOME EDITION
D. V. Devnull replied to gongusan's topic in Tech and Computers
While we try to find you an answer, here are two questions... [*:2txnqfmd]Why is your little brother trying to change the wallpaper? :? [*:2txnqfmd]Have you tried asking your parents to handle your little brother and teach him that messing with the wallpaper which another person has set is bad? :| ...and hopefully, we'll be back with that answer soon. 8-) ~Mr. D. This is one crazy glitch "with pics!"
D. V. Devnull replied to abbydog95's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Unless it is somehow normally possible to plant a keg of those, I think this glitch needs a bug-squashing. :geek: ~D. V. Devnull -
It's for Wii ;) I'm not sure if my drive can ever burn them, that's kind of what this thread is for. It can burn music to CDs and I frequently burn files onto CDs, but is that completely different than burning images? Depends on your image. Is the image larger than 650 MB, or smaller? If smaller, you might be able to load it onto a CD, instead of a DVD. : BTW, I just checked the device properties of a similar drive I have here, and it leads me to believe that you won't be able to burn DVDs with that drive... If you need further proof, read the following thread about your drive... http://club.cdfreaks.com/f36/tsstcorp-cdw-dvd-ts-l462c-ts01-216426/ Sorry to be such a 'bummer'... :( ~D. V. Devnull

"Virgle"... LOL!!! I didn't even know that had happened! :P Here's to the hope that Google lasts forever, but that they never turn super-insidious... They just committed a big no-no... How? I had to whitelist a page in ABP, which I really take distaste in doing, just to get their damn timeline to work. They've got it tied too far into their "analytics" tracking and advert server! Which, if it causes anything to slip past that shouldn't, is going to get the whitelist filter removed... permanently. ~Mr. Devnull

Fixed your quote... BTW, that article you pointed to is old... Is there any more recent threads started about this? :-s ~D. V. Devnull

It was on the RSOF. What, Jagex couldn't have the smarts to know that most F2P players (and some P2P'ers) don't read the forums?!?!?!? THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED ON THE FRONT NEWS TICKERS!!! :x ~Mr. D. V. Devnull

And your gamer tag on Galaxis was? ... (Yes, I have forgotten who you were there. Of course, that's to be expected when I don't go there anymore. ...) Heh, almost forgot to do this... Gonna make it a new tradition, I think... That is, if I remember to do so. <*DVD snaps his fingers, and makes a vase filled with purple roses appear at both Pryo's and Laik's office doors.*> ~D. V. Randomly Generated Team Dungeons
D. V. Devnull replied to Sprout_teh_druid's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
The only way that I will support something like this....... Is IF there is an optional mode provided where teammates can re-stock/re-enter, at the potential cost of a lesser reward for completing the dungeon. You provide that option, and you will have my support, but not until then. :-k I can agree, however, that the non-loss of armor/weapon/other items should be present as part of the rules, just as you have posted... Safe minigames and such are much more fun, in my opinion. ~Mr. D. V. Devnull -
I'll support this in the same fashion as will_holmes does... I think he's basically got it pinned down as to the rest of what I would say. \ ~D. V. Devnull

Comodo also exists. It may, but I've heard some bad things about it, inclusive of lack of newbie-friendliness... ZA really made itself the better choice here... :| ~D. V. Devnull

<*DVD wakes up finally, and thanks bballer and Jemathonical for saving his life...*> "creeped out"??? WTF?!?!?!? Really NOT quite anywhere near what I had even intended, chris. :shame: ... Especially when I'm just trying to jokingly 'rib' a Super Mod into joining a bunch of us over in that thread whose name I've mentioned already... (gender really isn't a factor here ... dangit) ... Super Mods are supposed to be able to kick back a little more, at the same time as they have to deal with more stressful issues, given the increased power they have... LOL  <*Gives Laikrob a chocolate cake to go with that soda... Soda alone = not good.*> ~D. V. Devnull

Dracion1, the Windows Built-In FireWall is WORTHLESS! :shame: ... Go get yourself the FREE Edition of ZoneAlarm, located at... http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/catalog/products/zonealarm_free_firewall.jsp ...and at least give yourself some reasonable and reliable protection! :) 'Nuff said. :ugeek: ~D. All servers appear to be back up and running now... I'm seeing world counts for all of them. 8-) Maybe there was some unscheduled maintenance? :-s ~D. V. Devnull

Forum Server Move
D. V. Devnull replied to MageUK's topic in Announcements, Rules and Security Warnings!
It's in Texas. Forum times are whatever the forum times are set whatever time zone you have selected in your profile. Unless you're not logged in. LOL! ... Then you see whatever the Administrator team has set as their default time zone... :geek: ~D. V. Devnull -
I've actually heard some bad things about Comodo, which has caused me to stick with ZoneAlarm... Thankfully, ZoneAlarm (both Pro AND Free) hasn't let me down... Also, ZoneAlarm is friendly to both Newbies and Advanced users. So, yes, I'm going to recommend ZoneAlarm as your best firewall choice. And BTW, here's a link to the FREE Edition of ZoneAlarm... http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/catalog/products/zonealarm_free_firewall.jsp Enjoy! 8-) ~D. 11,689 I finally found another funny video... Accidents make for the absolute best stuff... ... (Oh, and make sure your speakers are at a reasonable volume... You DON'T want them too loud.) ... So, here it is... " " by 'EndimionKnight' vsUlJFxmiGc&fmt=18 (Watch the Related Vids at your own risk... I have NOT disabled the function this time, and I have not previewed any of them!!!) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull -
One bright side... If you don't have the $$$ for the Pro Version of ZoneAlarm, you can still get a rather good free version. Head to this spot to download... http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/catalog/products/zonealarm_free_firewall.jsp ...and enjoy the nifty firewall protection... After you install the program into your system, that is. ~Mr. Devnull (Note from Author: I'll catch up with that note about myspace in a little bit...)

IE popups coming up when I'm using...firefox?
D. V. Devnull replied to Bloodredsword's topic in Tech and Computers
Cool... Thanks. :) <*DVD looks at the image...*> Hmm... It looks like that file should be safe to remove... However, I'm going to wait for at least one other person to read the HJT log and look at the image before saying that would be your best course of action. Why? The other person might know something I don't. Best to be safe, not sorry. :geek: ~D. V. Devnull -

11,692 Glad to see you both, Turtlefemm and halo2_rocks7... I look forward to return visits from both of you. : ~D. V. Devnull -
I'll support this also. : ... Jagex's failure to maintain certain attribute states, such as this one, has been worse than annoying. :wall: ~D. V. Devnull

Or they could just drag what they want as their homepage from their address bar to their home button icon, and answer "Yes" to the prompt that shows. :geek: ~D. V. Devnull

You're running two FireWalls at the same time... bad, bad idea... :wall: Worse, you're using McAfee's stuff at all... <*DVD 'mega-facepalms'...*> I suggest you go get ZA Pro 7 and Eset's NOD32 ... (Yes, both are items you will have to spend money on, but it is worth it.) ... After you get them put in and loaded up, if you have a virus left that you can't see, NOD32 will find it. If some hacker is attacking from the outside, ZA Pro 7 will stop them. :ugeek: Also, have you tried Spybot S&D yet??? :-s ~D. V. Devnull
