  1. sbrideau, yes, you'll need to burn the '.iso' to a CD, as to set up for the install. Good luck to you. :geek: ~D. V. Devnull
  2. If they're able to build a skill like Slayer, then it is possible to track. :ugeek: ~Mr. Devnull
  3. We're not trying to "force" anyone ... We simply want those who use "LeetSpeak" to be considerate of those that can't/don't, and therefore can't understand it and/or are annoyed by it for one reason or another. :ugeek: Quit misinterpreting us, Azure... Geez. -.- ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  4. Ray, here's the quick version... [*:2xfnr9ke]Get an account on PhotoBucket.com, if you don't have one already. [*:2xfnr9ke]Upload your image to your PhotoBucket.com account and copy a direct link to the image to your clipboard. [*:2xfnr9ke]On TIF, go to "User Control Panel > Profile > Edit Avatar" and paste the link to your image from the clipboard into the "Link Off-Site" field that is provided. ... and just get in touch with me on RS if you're still totally stumped/stuck. :geek: ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  5. Mlbfan13, your log looks fine to me... Unless AOL messed with your TCP/IP stack... And if that's the case, you're going to have a hell of a time fixing it. :| BTW, what browser are you currently running? :-s ~D. V. Devnull
  6. However if someone posted entirely in 1337 then I'd just remove it or get them to translate it to English. 3h, $0/\/\7h!n6 |!|<3 D!$??? :P ... ... Or do we hide the translation? :| ... BTW, this is my very first time, in response to this single topic... extremely unlikely that I'd do it again... LOL! (Personally, I normally don't like LeetSpeak... But as long as it isn't used in an annoyingly nasty manner, I'm not gonna go mad over it. ;) ...) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  7. I hate to say it, but if you can't install ZoneAlarm, you have two possible problems... [*:ur4tdve8]Your TCP/IP Stack is "borked"... or [*:ur4tdve8]You have a super-nasty virus (or just simply damaged DLLs) that has killed your net link forever and is beyond the limits of what your security packages can handle.... and either way, you're looking at a total Windows OS Re-Install. You had better back up your personal data, and hope the virus (again, IF you have one) doesn't hide in it. :( ~D. V. "The Note Of Doom" Devnull
  8. 11,671 ... At least they didn't stick with that wrong number. :P ~D. V. Devnull
  9. Ewww... Why do people even go there. o.o Only one reason I use RuneHQ's website (but not forums) ... Anything that Tip.It's WebSite doesn't have. :| ~D. V. Devnull
  10. What would be the point of doing the same with run? :-s Fast escapes, in the event that your net link dies and you come back in a dangerous place. :ohnoes: ~D. V. Devnull
  11. Sadly, I'm not seeing anything odd there. :( ... I still remember some time in the past when copernic was a piece of spyware, but I am sure they changed that, so nothing to worry there. -.- ~D. V. Devnull
  12. Well, at least one thing is clear... Your system will wake up with the ethernet cable plugged in, and restart while shutting down... :-k ... At the moment, this leads me to think that you have still not got a setting in its' proper place in your BIOS and/or in Windows. :geek: ... Please, recheck for anything that could hint at booting up or rebooting while shutting down. :| This could ultimately be so little as the wrong service just getting a signal you don't want it getting... -.- ~D. V. Devnull
  13. I concur. I wonder if we could get the kills broken down by month/day/session??? :-s (OT: Ugozima, are you trying to duplicate something that darkrick did with their avatar, and make guys think you are really a hot girl?!?!? ...) ~D. V. Devnull
  14. 11,677 LOL ... Php can burn the brain out... Make sure to come back every so often, dsavi! :) ~D. V. Devnull
  15. I'm surprised you ever had trouble with ZoneAlarm... What was the last version that you used? :-s
  16. 11,680 ... New Page... 8-) Still glad to have you here anyway, dsavi_x4 ... Please, feel free to make return visits! ~Mr. Devnull
  17. WOL = Wake On LAN :) ZA is super-safe, and has been the most easy thing I've ever had to configure. Maybe people have complained about that "MailSafe" thing that I don't use because I have a rather nice AV (Yes, I've said it like a hundred times... NOD32...) and mail classifier (PopFile @ popfile.sourceforge.net) to keep the spam out and the good stuff in. But the firewall and settings configs are rock-solid and totally easy to manage. Heck, when ZoneAlarm makes an error, I usually find it is due to user error. (Of course, since I'm not the only user of the PC that I'm on, it means it was the other primary, an older family member of mine. :P ...) And BTW, what the heck do you mean that ZA is a resource hog? In my case, ZA normally stays out of my path, but still does not let the hackers through! And, for that matter, I'm sitting on 1 GB of RAM on the system I'm on, and ZA is not taking that much! Well, good luck with Comodo... Please, let me know what happens, will you? :-s ~D. V. Devnull
  18. FF 2.0.0.x-series, and I am also not seeing any pop-up warnings here either. I think it is being injected by one or more of the adverts that mlbfan13 is seeing, which means that it is in violation of Tip.It's Rules about the adverts they're providing. mlbfan13, I suggest that you report those ads, because they're not supposed to be doing "onload" injections of code into your browser. :shame: (Yeah, I'm using ABP here due to a house policy, but if the pop-ups were really Tip.It's fault, I'd still know about it!!! :ugeek: ... Heck, I can tell you who is at fault right now, because they're tripping my sensor! It's those blasted BurstNet [bleep]ers! :x ...) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  19. 11,682 I may have just found a new source of videos... Ones that possibly could leave you all climbing the walls from either 'LOL-ing', or 'stupidity in content'... Time for you all to wake up and make this countdown go into 'rampage mode'... Next video soon................................. ~D. V. Devnull
  20. 11,684 Did anyone have an opinion in regard to my video pick? If so, feel free to talk about it! ~Mr. Devnull
  21. Check your BIOS, shut off the WOL functions, if they happen to be on. :geek: And BTW, if you want your firewall config to be easy, Comodo ain't your best option. -.- ~D. V. Devnull
  22. Expanding on what sloter said... When you reboot, watch for the light on the front of the CD/DVD drive to blink. If it does not, then the drive may have died and/or had a cable short. (If it did die, you know already what you must do next.) :| Makoto, didn't you notice that they had already checked their cable connections? :-s ~D. V. Devnull
  23. I support your thoughts and idea, mlbfan13 ... Although, this could mean that the pop-ups are coming from one of the adverts that are loading, so just report both and leave it up to the Admins to find out what happened. TBH, if my memory serves right, Tip.It is against these nasty and volatile pop-ups also, and advert companies that are providing the adverts are therefore violating Tip.It's policy in regard to this. :-k Time to wait for the Admins to show up here... :| ~D. V. Devnull
  24. Maybe we need a "HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY, TIP.IT" thread?!?!?!? :o ~Mr. Devnull
