I was think along the exact same lines, except that it could be on two levels instead. Hopefully, if the Tech Crew decided to do this, they would make a second skin that has this option to do this in it, so that the privileged posters with wide screens can still have it on one row. Blurite44, from my travels, World 3 appears to be the designated "always can play here" world. I've tried 1, 4, and 5, only to occasionally find them devoid of players. :( ... D_V_Devnull's recommended (and least destructive) solution to this whole mess... Just make an index of current stickies, pin it up, and de-sticky the threads which the index is linking down to. Problem solved. :thumbsup: ~D. V. Devnull

How about making 2 separate switches in user profiles... One that allows "disabling"/"total hiding" of signatures, and one that allows disabling of avatars. Then dial-up users can see avatars, without seeing signatures, and can even have an option to show sigs on click-to-view. Problem solved. :) ~D. V. Devnull

I know you didn't aim this at me, but I have a thought for you to read. 8-) Only slightly. But I get how it would work on here. : We could add a post number through a quote tag with an expanded format, right? :-s And heck, we could call the tag "linkquote", and have it like... [linkquote=","][/linkquote] ...which would allow basically the same (with "") as a quote, but with the expanded ability to just specify a post number (with "") where the quote was coming from. :idea: So we'd allow both formats, no big deal. :thumbsup: ...
