I watched Duel in the Sun on Sunday.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
B. You're not limited to the grenade launcher, you have an assault rifle to. ... And the ACOG is brilliant if you know how to use it. B. Yes, but by the time you change back to the assault rifle you're riddled with lead. The ACOG isn't as good as the red dot sight in my opinion. As for grenade launchers not being accurate, I agree that he needs to learn to aim.

What is your ideal life?
Career wise, I'd love to direct films. Not even big Hollywood style films, I'd be content making smaller independent films and just being comfortable financially. I can't see it ever happening to be honest though. Other than that I'd just like to be happy in a purely conventional way - enough money to live comfortably, a wife, a few kids etc.

Your *outrageous* fast-food experience.
I'm just as bad, although I do love the faces of McDonald's workers when you ask for plain cheeseburger (no relish, no gherkin, no onion), it's brilliant.

You're getting great odds from Paddypower on the first BBC commentary cliche to be used during the game game. 20-1 on that somebody mentions 'Underachievers" first.

What are your talents?
So you haven't tried modesty yet then. Oooooooooooooh! xD I'm sure he has, he just isn't trying right now. And after all, the intro to this topic DOES state that it's a bragging thread. ;) So. I know, I was just kidding - the opportunity was too inviting for me to resist having a sarcastic moment.

The War of the next Gen Consoles
You didn't look very hard then: viewtopic.php?f=151&t=617439 It was only on the 2nd page of the Video games and Consoles section. Edit - Why does it chop the first part of the URL off when I post this?

Wanted
I've seen the trailer and I've seen interviews about the film, to me it looks ridiculous. The plot sounds like a naff cliche and just don't like CGI action films. The only plus side I see is that Angelina Jolie looks great. I might be wrong in my assessment of the film but there is nothing in the premise or in the clips I've seen that make me want to see it - it just seems like another assembly line action film.

What movie(s) did you last see?
The Maltese Falcon - The stuff dreams are made of. Edit - I forgot to add The Stranger - I caught this on TV this morning. It's about an infamous Nazi war criminal (Orson Welles) who moves to Connecticut, after the war, under the pretense of being a doctor while being followed by a War Crimes investigator (Edward G Robinson). I liked this film, Orson Welles was great as a charming villain who begins to unravel.

A child of the 90's, this is what shaped my world.(few pics)
Animaniacs is actually funnier to me now when at 21 than it was then just because I actually get most of the references in it. Such a clever show.

Did anyone in UK watch Spain vs Italy on ITV? John Motson made a boring game even worse. He kept getting everyones names wrong, it was driving me nuts - he kept mixing Senna and Silva up the whole game. He's irritating usually but now he's just intolerable - I wish they'd force him to retire. Rustu is/was a good keeper but he's been in a semi-retirement for a while now, I don't even think he's first choice at Besiktas. He looked a little rusty when he played the last game but I hope that doesn't last. It's a shame that Turkey have so many injuries and suspensions because if they hadn't, I'd have actually fancied them to sneak by Germany. That being said, if the Germans are winning by less than 3 goals with 10 minutes left I wouldn't rule Turkey out lol.

#-o I couldn't remember the name so I left it. They weren't great books now when I think back but I did read a couple of them. It also reminds me of the tv show "Are you afraid of the Dark?" Now THAT was classic television.

Pogs were such a scam when I think back. There were so many different varieties and of course, you had to have them all. Then there were the "limited edition" ones that everyone wanted. All that collectible stuff was addictive. Stuff like pogs was like crack for kids. The Panini sticker books were just as addictive as pogs. I don't know if these went outside Scotland but I'm sure every nation has an equivalent. It was a sticker book you would buy and it would have all of the football league's and players in it and you had to buy packets of stickers to fill it. Of course, you'd be left needing about 2 or 3 stickers and end up buying 10 or 20 packs of stickers just trying to get the ones you needed. For some reason a couple of players would be rare stickers and somebody would get lucky and get one spare and end up trading it for a giant wedge of stickers. I don't think I ever filled an entire book but I reckon over the years I spent 100's of pounds on those stickers. Other than that I just remember classic Saturday morning tv. A time when you could just wake up and stick on Captain Planet or Sharky & George before going out and then watching Beadles about or playing Streets of Rages on the Sega Megadrive (Genesis). Great memories lol.

The Euro 2008 tread! ~support siggys + poll! ~
I am officially the kiss of death, in the beginning I tipped France & Portugal - they both go out. After that I put my support behind Holland and they go out the very next game! I'm not going to pick a team, I'll just say I'd like a team who either has never won a competition or haven't won one in a while to win. I can't believe how many chances Russia wasted tonight, they could have, and maybe should have, scored 6 or 7 goals. Once Holland equalised I though they would punish Russia for missing their earlier chances but they blew it. This is the 2nd time Arshavin has done me, first in the UEFA cup final and now ruining my bet. If he wasn't such a great player to watch I would really despise him lol.

I can't believe the Croatia vs Turkey game. Croatia finally get in the lead and just need to hold on for 2 mintues then BAM! Turkey score with the last kick of the game. It was an absolute travesty of justice as Croatia were by far the better team for most of the game, Turkey didn't offer anything just like Greece 4 years ago. I knew Modric would miss his penalty after scoring one earlier in the tournament and after playing so well - I genuinely was gutted for him. It's amazing that Turkey are in a semi-final and have only held a lead for 2 and a half minutes during the entire tournament. Germany will be celebrating, I doubt they'd have fancied another game against Croatia. Since Croatia have gone out playing beautiful football, I now put my full support behind the purist's choice - Holland. Hopefully they'll be worn out by the time we play them in World Cup qualifiers. PS. Bluelancer - About Italy and penalties, I reckon Germany would beat them. The Germans almost never lose a shoot-out. Buffon is a tough keeper but didn't Lehman have somebody keep stats on all penalty takers at the last world cup or something? Plus the Italians always lose them when it matters - just ask Roberto Baggio. ;)

Great bet. I took bit of a gamble with a live bet, but won pretty easy money considering the risk.. Bet EUR200 on "no red card" at 75 minutes played... Surprisingly, Unibet still gave it 1.35 odds with only 15 minutes left to go, had to take the bait. Tomorrow is Croatia vs Turkey. Can Turkey win even with 2 of their players banned from the next game (too many yellow cards)? I don't think so personally. It'll be draw or Croatia wins. Yeah, I'm gonna go for Croatia for that one myself, I don't think Turkey can defy the odds again. It would be interesting to see a Croatia vs Germany semi-final.

I get a few LUCallBackProxy running at once as well but only when Norton is updating. I've ran anti-virus and Hijackthis but there seems to be no problems.

Are you sure about that? I know you can retire from International footballl and still play at club level (like Jamie Carragher) and the coach can ask you to reconsider, but I don't think they can force you. I know FIFA has the 21 day ruling to stop clubs pulling their players out of Internationals but I've never heard of this other rule. That being said, Domenech is a mug. Being put out of Euro 2008 is a blessing in disguise for France as they now have an excuse to get rid of him. To pick a team based on their star signs is laughable and it's gotten funny results. Domenech is always quick to blame others, after Scotland beat them at Hampden he blamed the "boy balls" (he meant Ball Boys) for not putting the ball in quickly enough, and just today he tried to blame his experienced players by saying that he should have went with the younger guys.
