  1. Thank you. :) I haven't tried that burstinglobs friends chat yet, and I'm not sure if I will. I've been bursting at ape atoll lately and the xp is nice (as usual, chinned 99 range there). I know it's not the most efficient way to train considering the bigger picture, but training magic as a skill alone hardly never is. I know I should get magic up by sideproduct of woodcutting, fishing or mining. I just don't feel like training those skills at the moment and the xp piles up so fast it's hard to change now. I might go kill steel dragons with fire wave just to save a bit money, get some loot, charms and hopefully effigies. Also, it's afkable. I've also considered training slayer to 85 for getting some whips, now that whip prices might skyrocket to no-one-knows-where. I don't really feel like slaying though, so it's sort of slowing me down - so to speak. Anyways, 95 magic, 91 defence and 129 combat (as mistakely using defensive stand for barraging and bursting first), so I'm quite happy with recent levels. Next combat level is going to break me into +130's. Been a long time goal for me. Maxing combat doesn't seem so distant anymore, to be honest - except for the summoning part. Ah well, I have time.
  2. Used my charms to get myself nice rounded 80 summoning (I like round numbers!), then got 94 mage to got two coolest spells I know - Ice barrage and Vengeance. Ever since I've been having some fun messing around in Soul Wars barraging everything that moves. It's a bit expensive and useless for magic xp but it's kinda fun. I would go rock lobsters maybe, but I can't get there alone and can't figure finding someone to let me in.
  3. I can't believe it either. :-D I might sound a bit snobby now, but as a longtime pixel artist I know what it is like to make pixels - especially what are the hardest parts and which took most time and dedication to get right. I'm afraid basic landscapes were the ones I learned first, and later on became easiest and fastest to make. Don't get me wrong when I say Myu or Iglw would've deserved the 2nd place more, simply due to fact their pixels are artistically more detailed, fascinating and there were clearly more time spent doing them. Of course, apparently that doesn't make them better. Less is more, they say, and looks like your pixel in it's simplicity just struck the chord in peoples minds. So congratulations to you for your second place. =D>
  4. Amazing achievement! Onneksi olkoon! ;)
  5. So today I finally decided to try my luck at soloing Bandos for the first time - and what a luck I had.. First trip I got only 3 kills, but managed to adjust my inventory for a bit better trip. Next one I got first kill with ease, but then when going to pray at the altar I accidentally tele'd out. After it had took a while to find free world my tortoise was already low on timer, I had to start from bank again. Then on third trip, I managed to get 5 kills and on the last kill I got Bandos chest plate drop! I even didn't get it from the big G, but from the last minion! I can't believe how lucky I've been with Bandos, considering I haven't really done it that much. So far gotten tassets, bcp, boots on duo, and then long time ago also tassets and bcp as split drops (on bigger teams). I assume there is still alot for me to learn from soloing, but atleast I got a nice price for trying already. For sure I'm going to keep on soloing and getting better at it. My gear is not the best possible, and as I lack overloads I use rocktails instead of saradomin brews (just for the sake of being able to use extremes properly). The trips are not very long but it's quite easy and safe way to learn without having to worry about things like overload timers etc. Going to get overloads in the near future (as soon as I get some cash for it) though, to make the soloing even more better. :)
  6. Well, basically I never stopped blogging in the first place (I still kept track of all levels I got), I just didn't inform anyone what I was actually planning. Just levels, and nothing else. Now I try to go into a bit more detail with what I'm doing, incase someone is interested. And to keep myself more motivated and aware of what I am even going to do. Thanks for your post, and I managed to change the topic title to be more appropriate (and a bit dull too, I admit)!
  7. It's most certainly been ages since I last wrote in my blog, and it had fallen somewhere deep in the bitspace of the BlogScape. However, today I decided to get my good ol' blog back in the use, with whole bunch of new goals, some re-editing of the frontpage and all this. Still I haven't figured a way to change the title of my blog, cause now it's a bit outdated (as I've finished 99 smithing and gone couple mils beyond months ago already, and even magic is just a one goal amongst many now). So comments are appreciated on my goals, my achievements (which are added now), my progress, or about helping me with changing my blog name. All comments are welcome, and I'm more than happy to have chat with any tip.iter who wants to have person to maybe hunt bosses with (I'm not very good but willing to learn), play minigames, dungeoneer or just pretty much anything. I like the community aspect of the game and am happy to help and communicate with fellow scapers.
  8. Go get them, tiger! Rawr! And get that 99 cooking too. That trim. <3:
  9. Me likes, me likes. Seems like we get a good competition after all.
  10. I think you should read the first post before commenting.
  11. Might aswell join. Haven't made a pixel in a while, but as I promised already to make a proper pixel signature for one friend, could aswell "get two birds with one stone." Assuming that is alright by the competition rules. Good luck to all! PS: Cowboy your personal signature is very nice. I must say you've come long way from since you started. I remember seeing your earliest works some years back, and you've really made progress. Good job keeping pixeling alive. And good job making signatures for people, they are really neat.
  12. Nice one Yyboy. I guess you're not amateur after all. Still needing a sig?
  13. Nice stuff. Impressive.
  14. Funny point but actually after like 3rd time talking to the Family Crest guy in the SE Varrock, he agreed to take the - blimey - shield and finish the zombies partying around the hall. About time, I'd say. I don't know what I did other than talk everyone and probably annoy everyone long enough to seriously let me go of it. Thank god I had few beers in my fridge, otherwise I think I would've found my monitor outside, next to the window, tomorrow..
  15. Which Family Crest guy? I talked with the Varrock Family crest guy Jonathon (he didn't have anything to say) and the father of the family (he had nothing to say either). I have strong feeling this quest is broken. I even tried to destroy the shield of arrav and the list and get new ones.. Not helping.
  16. They were all removed and replaced with NPCs in Gunnar's Ground. If I remember correctly from the quest, you were supposed to talk to Reldo and have a look at the town registry for people. I'd say have a look at that again and then check any NPCs you can gather from that. I did that and went through every other person.. Still it says the same people on the list inside tha game, as in the quest guide. I'm helpless. I've been stuck for almost an hour already... Atleast I have beer to survive, but this really is making me boiling.
  17. The quest guide tells me to speak to Romeo, Juliet and Juliets' father to find out if they're the ancestors of the peril of Varrock. However, the quest guides are old and don't tell where they currently are.. Or if they even exist. I've been going around the town for like 30 minutes now, and getting a bit frustrated. Help appreciated. Romeo, where art thou?
  18. Nice stats (a bit unbalanced at points, though), grats on 99 firemaking and excellent BoB. Don't worry about the rares, I got couple too! They're crashing but they will be back up eventually, I think. If not, who cares! Collectors collect! :) Best of luck, and play the game as you wish. If you don't like combat or some skills, don't do them. It's your account and your gaming experience. I'm just saying that balancing the lower stats a bit would look nice and give awesome overall look. Best of luck!
  19. A signature would be "other real-life benefits." More specifically: So as it is against the RuneScape Rules, it is also against our forum rules ;) Okay thanks, trips. However, isn't it quite easy to go around this kind of rules? I mean, basically if I wanted to "sell" signatures, I could just take donations. I mean, people are giving (even currently) free rares away if free trade comes. I'm quite certain no rule would forbid me from taking donations? And no rule would really forbid me for making signatures for people. So all I'm saying that, while this rule might actually exist - I take it that it's actually quite impossible job for either forum or jagex moderators to do anything about it. Thereforth I'm questioning why does these rules exist. I suppose I'll ask more from JaGex if the free trade comes. :) I know you guys, as crew of respectable site, have to keep up with Jagex rules, even if they didn't make much sense.
  20. Hmm, interesting. However it seems like Jagex has taken a step backwards with the RWT aswell, or why else would they bring free trade back. And I'm not exactly sure how much are signatures considered as real world trading. There is no real money involved. And by the way, I am quite sure I remember quite a few pixel artists (including couple good friends of mine) doing pixel signatures in exhange of real money on these forums. I think it was "against the rules" but mostly all moderators did about it was to tell everyone it was their own business - and not to burst about it on forums - instead discuss it via private messages. What is the moderators stand on this nowadays? Also, it's fairly safe to take note that getting scammed is basically impossible on pixel signature "trades". After all the pixel signature is made first, and the watermarked version is shown to the buyer before the transaction.
  21. Few years back, The Gallery used to be section filled with extremely talented artists. It still is, but now it's more of fun based, and alot of styles have completely vanished. Back in the days especially pixel signatures used to have huge fanbase, and those artists like misterxman, Jeppoz, DementedHero and alot of others (some more or less), did pixel signatures in exhange of RS currency (I'm not exactly sure if the examples I gave were doing that, or what extent). For pixel signature they used to charge RS coins, items or even rares, depending on their skill and fame. Best artists could make huge fortunes, making pixel signatures to somewhat famous RS players. It seems that pixel signaturing has vanished into very close to extinction, and only the most fanatic artists keep doing occasional pieces. Now theres a chance that this might come back, would it? Is there still enough pixel artists playing RS, they would bother? To answer this question for my behalf, I personally could do it. Funny enough I just happened to start again a while ago, and adding 1+1 for game success and hobby doesn't really sound too bad. Especially considering there are alot of fairly afkable skills like mining, fishing, woodcutting and even fletching and cooking to some extent - it would leave quite a bit of time for doing something simultaneously. What do you think about this possibility? Would you personally be willing to pay RS credit for pixel signature (if you still play that is)? How much could one charge for pixel signature? Do you even agree this kind of way of changing hobby into "work"? Thoughts, please! EDIT: While I seriously started to think about it, I came to realize how many great possibilities the RS of nowadays offers for a pixel artists. All the new shiny armours, weapons, monsters, places... No need to paint that same old rune platebody for every other charecter in pictures. :???:
  22. Just a couple questions about the master penance horn. Well, I've been using it for a while lately (and I must say it does save me awful alot of grinding on some skills I don't particularly enjoy that much), and I'm just interested to know how much xp potential does the full horn store, and how long it takes to completely charge one. I've heard about ratios like 10 full rounds of Barbarian Assault to charge, and it lasts about 1m-1,3m xp. Anyone with exact figures? :-D

Have you ever actually thought about idea, that someone doesn't flip? I've read quite a few of your H&A responds, and they're always the same: flip. Just a thought. :???:
  24. Okies. :) I checked few pages of this thread and didn't see anyone posting this, so I figured I'll do. Good to know my account is not messed up.
  25. I don't know if this has ever happened to you, but I found it rather interesting. It happened once before, when I logged in and while the game was loading, the levels looked very weird. The levels quickly turned back to normal and I wasn't sure if I was just figuring the whole thing. Then couple days later, while playing BA the game had slight loading screen (that happens when you log in, or move to different areas etc.) and the levels were again messed. I very fastly clicked the print screen button before the levels changed back again. Don't know if it's bug or what, but it certainly is funny. 1337 total, seriously? It's not a fake, it's exact screen shot from RS. By the way, it's me in the gilded armours, d (or) sq and santa hat.
