Grab them from the ground in Lumbridge or Mort Myre swamp or kill cave slimes(with a drop rate of 100%) in the Lumbrigde Slayer Caves. The latter is far more fun and should also provide you with some level 1 clue scrolls.

Your Hitpoints level is a couple of levels higher than other lvl 99's because of your high range and your prayer is slighty higher than other players of your level. This should cause some difference in other melee based combat skills.

About 5 I think, mostly during the holidays. Most annoying time I got it was during last summers break. Holiday--->lots of spare time--->do hard quests---> almost get owned by the system update timer while killing Damis. I was about halfway through the second form(using the poisoning method, I was a poor newb) and BAM, stupid message... Had a dds spec and some earth blasts left and killed him with about a minute to spare. :D

Then sell the bars or smith them into platelegs with a dwarven stout and swith to platebodies when you have the required level. You can make some money if you sell the bars. Well...you can teleport if you have the required magic level. To get into the runecrafting altars just use the talisman on the altar and you get teleported. You need have finished the rune mysteries quest first though. Members have acces to items that teleport you when clicked, like the ectophial, an elf crystal or a teleport tab.

People can teleother you when you have accept aid on. When someone is on Lunar Magic you can get affected by the pot share spell. My advice is to keep it off all the time unless you need to get teleothered to prevent unwanted teleother windows, like in Dharok's tomb.

Mystic is about 55-80k. Or you could take a regular Lava Battlestaff and 40K to Thormac the Wizard in the Sorcerers Tower south of Seers to get changed into mystic. Reqs for Mystic staff are 40 attack and magic.
