How many in-game updates have you came over? <--- that's the title, and point of this topic. :mrgreen:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

By "in-game update" I'm referring to when there's a timer in the bottom right corner. :roll: And Jagex is updating something in the game. So they need to log off everybody. :-s

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This has only hapened to me once, back when I was a lvl 60 woodcutter. My combat lvl was noobish but I was proud i was getting a fair amount of yews :XD: . Now there is two many autoers. But let's stay on topic, I stood there asking "what's that timer in the corner." Or "whats happening?" :-w

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now I know what to do incase that ever happens, but almost a year of playing and only once :uhh: . Tell me how many times it's happened to you! :P

Many times, not lately but nothing special about it, happens every now and then.

7 or 8 times... i'm usually on at weird times :roll:

Almost every week. The updates are almost always monday or tuesday around 3 pm my time. And I'm almost always free at that time of the day.

I lost count, for some reason I'm on at 12am to 7am which is where in eastern time they update the game alot...More then i can count for sure. Always fun though to be at an up-date before anyone else though!!

I've seen a good few dozen. I often have Monday or Tuesday off work and am typically online when the updates happen.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I immediately jump to a store to stock up on rare supplies when it happens :mrgreen:

I have a right laugh if i'm on a f2p world "OMG JAGEX IS SHUTTING DOWN!!!!" "ITS THE APOCALYPSE" etc

only once, i'm in EST so i think they usually do the updates at like midnight for us.

but yeah.. I'm nearly always on when they update.. ewll was.. dont go on now.

20+... I'm always on whenever they seem to update... its always funny when you go back to the main page because all the worlds have like 6-10 ppl in them after the reload... I wish they were always like that :

Opportunists like me tend to use to three minute warning to get to mage guild and buy up all the good runes when the world resets. :lol: Switch, rinse and repeat.

I was on at around 5am or so my time (which is central). Anyways i was walking around edge looking to sell some cooked lobs I had noted back in RSC. When all of a sudden a timer appeared. Playing in RSC I knew that sometimes early in the morning Jagex puts in updates, which case the timer pops up indicating how much time is left before they logg everyone off.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When this happened, it was kinda special, it signified my last couple of minutes on RSC, because the update was the biggest. Rsc to Rs2.

In RSC a box poped up that required closing informing you what kinda of update (Bug, Graphics, whatever) so you knew what was going on

It was in RSC when they were dropping scythes, it said something like "Here we go" and then all these scythes popped out of nowhere.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It was awesome.
