They use a combination of range and melee attacks, but I would recomend protect from missiles prayer as the melee attack hits less.

People already pk with it. It protects over everything so no fear. Melee is on top, has been for a while but this sword barely affects its spot on the triangle. Melee has 3 stats to level up, which is triple what mage or range need. Yet if you get both range and mage up you can beat melee for the most part so the triangle is still semi balanced. Melle has two stats. Ranged has one. Mage one. Defence prayer and hp are all 3. DEFENCE IS NOT A MELEE STAT! Do you train defense with a sword? Do you do it up close? YES. In this game, defense is considered a melee stat. It isn't like Elder Scrolls where you get Defense xp by getting attacked and taking damage. If it was, it wouldn't be considered a melee stat. :wink: Can you train defence with a bow or a spell? Yes, so think before you look down on others.
