I'm hoping this isn't the 2%, because it's a huge 98% otherwise.

The invasion K/D is likely from the Banshee on Spire but I can't take away credit for the other playlists.

What's the player base like these days?
There's likely a lot of idealism about RSC. You hear some fairy tales and you'd be mistaken for thinking everyone stopped for tea and biscuits as soon as somebody else logged in. I'm sure it also had its fair share of idiots just like everything else does. People probably did a better job of ignoring them though, which they don't do now. I think that's the real problem with the RS community; the constant one-upmanship. "My skills are better than yours" "My clan is better than yours" "My setup/method is better than yours" "Tip.It is better than other fansites" "RSOF is full of morons" "Anti-efficiency players... does it get any worse?" It's not just confined to Tip.It, it's almost everywhere you look in RuneScape. I've done it occasionally, but it is a horrible reflection on a community where the only objective measure of success is the hiscores table.

[NOW IMPLEMENTED!] View Mobile Version On Desktop System?
I don't know anything about coding, but for what my observations are worth, I'm not seeing the hordes of people on Zybez/RuneHQ/RSOF complaining that they wanted to use the new website but were unable to do so because their system couldn't handle it. Stop finding solutions to a problem which doesn't exist.

Prosititution
How do you work that out? $50 an hour is rediculously low for a prostitute, yet $50/hour wage is enviable. Even after preparation/cleanup time and tax. And how many functional members of society would be a prostitute for $50 an hour if they didn't need the money for drugs? Probably not too many. And yes, add in licensing fees, cleanup, tax, etc...and legal prostitution becomes much more expensive than illegal prostitution ever was. Though in a free market--and I know this is a truly dreadful way of dehumanising individuals who each have their own story--prices always remain low due to competition and the incessent need to undercut others. You're muddying two very different, but relating, issues with drug dependency and prostitution. There's enough prostitutes out there who aren't into drugs or other psychoactives, which would keep a market going. Although I agree that one the main attractions to illegal prostitution is that the cash is 'under-the-table'. That would no longer be applicable if it was legalised.

Prosititution
I didn't check that post. Did I cause a [bleep]storm? Personally, I find our society's attitude towards sex to be utterly contradictory. On the one hand, the greatest pieces of art in history, made during the Renaissance period, depict images of naked women, usually that of the messiah's own virgin mother. On the other hand, if eyes were daggers, any man reading a copy of FHM on public transport would be murdered about twenty times over before reaching their destination. We take no real issue when a younger woman marries an older man ('gold-digging' is almost accepted as being OK since it's the man's own fault), but young men finding older women attractive is a sure sign of a rapist looking for a vulnerable victim. It's seen as more natural for men to have sex underage than women, and on some school playgrounds, it's even a lightning rod for bullying. I could go on pointing towards such contradictions where for one group is society, action A is fine, but for another, it's completely wrong. We have a very immature and poorly formed attitude towards the concept of two people having sex with each other The best example of said contradiction, however, comes with the issue of prostitution. As a young woman (or man, but for argument's sake...), you are allowed to have sex, browse the Internet and newspapers for sex, depict yourself in a sexual context including nudity and publish it on just about any medium, strip naked for money and augment sexual features of your body to appear more attractive. You are also allowed to film yourself having sex with another person, and providing that interaction is consensual for both parties, another company is allowed to purchase the rights to that tape from you, for money. You could even make a career out of other people filming you having sex with 'strangers' in a non-romantic or reproductive manner, for a third party's masturbatory satisfaction. However, if you have sex with a stranger in exchange for money in a direct, non-taxable, cash-in-hand transaction, suddenly everyone has a problem with that you're doing. Intellectually, I see no difference between the pornographic industry, which is itself massive, and totally legal within constraints, and prostitution. Both involve one party receiving money to have sex with another party. The only difference I see is one activity is taxable, and the other is not due to its illegal nature.

What's the player base like these days?
It's about finding the right balance for you. If you don't want to play efficiently; we're not running for the Olympics... no-one worth spending any time over is going to judge you for it. Just don't go away thinking that that makes you 'better' than them, and vice versa. Likewise if you'd rather be more socially involved, there's a whole number of clans that take people for a whole variety of events. Plus it's RPG, with many different kinds of people playing it, each with their own interests and limits on how much time they can contribute, so that's how it should be like. Clan X isn't going to be most people's cup of tea, and neither is Clan Y. In these threads I often find people will make of the RS community what they themselves want to believe about it. If you want to burst an artery over how other people play the game, I think you're probably playing for the wrong reasons in the first place. Play for yourself, and what you enjoy. It's not that difficult.

Real life help & advice
Only a nurse or a doctor is going to be able to tell you whether it is or isn't, and there's no guarentee that resources found on the Internet are written by either. If they do need to examine it really isn't that awkward, I had to observe a penile examination as part of of my medical school training and the patient was completely at ease with not only the procedure, but me being there as well. Most likely it'll be bloods/urine test anyway. Is it more awkward for you to have it checked, or to carry on worrying about what you may or may not have?

Why does society dislike men having long hair?
I'm not sure long hair is even meant to be washed every day since you're washing off all the oils. Mind, it's probably the oils which are making it too greasy. Difficult stuff this hair business. I also think most guys keep it short because it avoids a lot of hassle.
-
Why does society dislike men having long hair?
Sometimes my hair does grow too long, but I accept that since I work in healthcare, I need to keep it short and women need to keep theirs tied up. Long hair normally looks terrible on men though, simply because they don't know how to treat it, so it ends up being too greasy, or too wild. When you think of how much attention girls get from their mothers about how to look after their hair, boys don't receive that same mentoring when they're growing up.

US House votes to up defense and limit human rights
Did you notice the way we marched into Lybia but conveniently ignored far worse atrocities in Syria? I can't imagine why that would be...

Face drooping? Well it's obvious you're having a stroke of course.

US House votes to up defense and limit human rights
Yeah, I mean I'm not one of these people who thinks the government is perniciously attempting to remove all forms of free will. It's the basic, most fundamental principle of justice that's being vandalised which I take objection to: That the onus is on others to prove guilt in a court of law before innocence is removed.

Thank you EoE :)
Many congratulations. It's been a pleasure, I hope you'll stay on for 100+

US House votes to up defense and limit human rights
Even here the police can detain a terror suspect for 21 days before charging them with an offence, when normally they have 24 hours.

Runescape Pkers = Ignorant Hypocrites
I suppose one irony is that when the penguins end up in deep Wildy, some hunters actually want to be PKed for a quick and free spawn tele. The vast, vast majority of kills I've seen on w60 have been explicitly asked for.

Something in the middle of the Wilderness Volcano
This is a really silly side-argument which I would appreciate you guys take to PM instead of wasting our time over. Working out what the characters mean would be a good start to descovering what it actually is.

Your first 99?
I've held two accounts in my RuneScape history. The first 99 on the first account was cooking, I haven't yet achieved a 99 on my second account but it looks almost certain to be dungeoneering.
-
Dungeoneering Boss troubles.
Boss monsters are always much higher than your combat level. At large c6 5:5 you'll be facing level 600 and upwards who can deal 500 hitpoints of damage regularly. Thunderous will 1-hit you with even slight mistakes, combat level is regardless in this matter. The highest fire giants on occult floors evade an SSH and can return over 400 worth of damage per hit... and since it's not a boss you can easily find more than one per floor, possibly in a GD with a mage where you're basically screwed. Dungeoneering is rape, you just have to learn how to deal with it. Riftsplitter I can't really give any help with, but Rammernaut is basically running to the four corners, and getting mage attacks away while keeping a distance. With good timing you shouldn't be getting hit at all, unless you run out of energy.

Runescape Pkers = Ignorant Hypocrites
And if they removed PKers from w60... wouldn't how they feel make the move suboptimal? It will always be suboptimal in someone else's eyes. You've reverted back to the "My fun is more important than theirs" line. The thing that held revenants back as a killing force was adaptability. The first example of metagaming was not this recent 'efficiency' craze, nor was it dungeoneering, or MHing. It was pures, in my opinion. Pures use priorly gained knowledge to deliberately manipulate the combat level system, to make themselves appear a lesser threat than they actually are--this can be both a protective measure against other PKers, or an offensive advantage against potential victims who don't know any better. For this reason, a much lwoer level can defeat a more balanced higher level with ease. A revenant's combat level is relative to how dangerous it actually is... there's no forethought in the design of revenants about why pures, amongst other PKing groups, were so successful for so long. Moreover, even if Jagex did program revenants in this image, they'd be obselete within months due to the constantly changing PvP metagame. Jagex wouldn't be able to adapt them, lest understand what changes needed to be made, quick enough to keep them in balance with real-player PKers. To be honest, so far all you've really done is shout "They can be made as powerful as PKers" without any detailed analysis of why PKers are dangerous in the first place. All you've done is lazily tag all PKers as 'griefers', and desperately looked for the next best alternative--steroid-induced revenants, which were never an ideal nor a permament solution to the original unbalanced trading update which saw the removal of PKing.
