  1. Very nice outfit, but wouldn't a a bug lantern (The ones sold by the Slayer Masters for use with killing the bug swarms on Karamja) look better than the rather plain (Compared to your very bright outfit) Abyssal Whip? It's held in the shield spot.
  2. Mithril Dragons are in the game... they were my idea. They may be in the game but that doesn't mean that it was your idea. They ended up being much different from your idea and not even close. With al the suggestions being made, it was bound to happen that eventually, one of the suggestions would be realeased while sharing some similarities such as name but the general idea being way off. You did not create these dragons. As for your idea being the actual one in the end, Posted: Fri Jun 08, 2007 1:07 pm. Your suggestion was made on that day. Something like impetuos impulses took 28 Weeks to make according to the developement diaries. Compared to this update that was small. So I doubt it was made in 8 weeks. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day so if you'd bother learning about the new update you would know that the idea is pretty much nothing like yours. Actually the idea kept growing as more people contributed and I meant the base monsters were my idea... their location is different and how to get to them and their surroundings etc.
  3. Not to rub it in but... I LOVE TO MINE! HOW COULD YOU NOT LOVE MINING?!?!! :x Good luck on 99, I know you can do it!
  4. Did you delete me Erad? Congratulations on 1800 total and 80 Smithing nonetheless.
  5. 79 Mining, 1.8m exp. Taking a break to do Lunar Diplomacy and Dream Mentor to get that spell so I don't have to bank twice to fill skins for a single level.
  6. Mithril Dragons are in the game... they were my idea.
  7. Runescape money comes and goes, but you only have so much time. What seems like a lot now will seem like so little in the future. If you are going to spend so much time in the game might aswell level as effeciently as possible. There are plenty of free 99's (such as Mining, one of your goals) that you can do.
  8. Your blog shall not die! Super congratulations for being 2 levels away from the great 8-0. I'll tell you that the feeling is sensational once you make it there  (points to sig)... Yeah, I need another 80+ skill... it will only be my second. Well bump anyway, I actually had to look hard for this thing.
  9. Bring a Holy Wrench. :D Grats, one of my long-term goals too.
  10. Nope. Fixed it for you, friend.
  11. I like that idea... I'll tweak my thread a little, considering that 3rd age is White D'hide.
  12. Very jealous, I would probably be right up at 80 with you if I didn't have to spend 3 days a week in the presence of a 7 year old garbage computer. Good luck on 99!
  13. Because 2k hides is nothing and he can't even make Blue D'hide. Nice setup 7/10, I suggest you go get 75+ range though if you want to kill dragons fast...
  14. Maybe Saradomin saved a few, he is a god, after all.
  15. I've never actually seen any 3rd age anything and never bothered to look it up because I'm so poor... the gloves were suppose to be a monster drop.
  16. Math and Reading folks, the essence of my topic. It all makes sense in the end, though. BEWARE: Wall of text. If you are a long-time and experienced player, you may remember back in the day whining about a lack of higher-leveled equipment. Jagex delivered, over, and over again. Barrows, more Dragon Armour, 3rd age, and much, much more. The rangers got new armour of course, but it was always nearly identical to the relic known as Black D'hide. It's time we had a successor though. An idea that isn't new but never fleshed out enough, White Dragons, and White D'hide. White Dragons should be located in a Dungeon, east of the Monastery. They should be made of the stuff of Saradomin, representing Peace, Hope, Serenity, and Prosperity. Guarded by Warrior Monks that set you off upon a set of tasks (or possibly a quest), you may only enter after doing said task(s) or quest, and only if you are Wearing a garment dedicated to Saradomin, and none dedicated to Guthix or Zamorak. Upon entering the dungeon you will see a portal, when you step into this portal you will be in the realm of Saradomin. An angel will approach and confront you, explaining your situation. The Angel will then disappear, leaving you to explore. At the end of the dungeon, there will be Baby White Dragons and White Dragons. The Baby White Dragons are attackable, but they are a Multi-Combat zone and the Monk Caretakers will attack you if you attack the Baby White Dragons. The White Dragons are in a separate room, all of these monsters are non-aggressive as this is Saradomin's realm and they do represent peace, after all. [hide=Some Basic Math]As far as I can tell the levels from dragon to dragon are not formulated at all, but the hit points on each of them looks like it is. The HP from Green to Blue is 30, Blue to Red 35, Red to Black 50. So we can figure that Black to White would be 55, leaving this monster at 245 HP, and under the Java limit for HP. But for the levels, I believe it should stay a lower combat level than the King Black Dragon, he has already lost most of his glory anyway. In the 260's, possibly? Leave the Babies at 83 to mimic the Baby Black Dragons as the Baby Reds do to the Baby Blues.[/hide] These dragons are tough but not that tough. They are easily bruised, and they're hides delicate. The dragons will have a 100% drop of Dragon Bones and only a 50% drop of White D'hide. These hides are rare and only a special tanner can treat them with the grace and gentleness these hides need. A monk tanner, his name doesn't really come to mind at the moment, but he lives west of McGrubbor's Woods and was once a Knight of the Round Table. Anyway, he would charge you 200gp per hide (10x the normal rate), and make you wait 60 minutes of real life time to come back and get your White Dragon Leather. They should have more than one attack to stop the safe-spotting of them, I was thinking the basic Melee and Dragon fire and Saradomin Strike (uncharged). And an assortment of drops. [hide= White Dragon Droplist]* Gold: 300-2500 * 100%: Dragon bones * 50%: White D'hide * Weapon: Rune Spear, Rune Mace, Rune 2h Sword, Dragon Mace, Dragon Spear * Armour: Rune Chainbody, Dragon med helm * Runes/Arrows: Law(15), Soul(25), Rune (18) * Misc: Draconic Visage, Gloves of Hope, Gloves of Peace, Gloves of Serenity, Gloves of Prosperity, Uncut gems, Half key, Shield left half(dragon), Monk fish (1, 5 (noted)), Herb, Adamantite ore(5 noted), Clue(lvl 3), Silver ore(50 noted), cut Dragonstone * Seeds: -[/hide] The new gloves you see in there are the new items these dragons would introduce into the game other than White D'hide armour (getting to that part). The ideas for what these gloves do are in the making, and for now are just basic ideas that may be unbalanced. Gloves of Hope: Nothing coming to mind, ideas? Gloves of Peace: Turns monsters non-agressive in 10 minutes instead of 15. Gloves of Serenity: When you die a screen pops up and allows you to choose ONE item to keep and you lose everything else (when not skulled), you may choose to keep your three default items, if you log out when this screen appears (like you were away from your keyboard) you keep your three default items. When skulled this effect is negated. Gloves of Prosperity: Increases the chance of a monster dropping stackable items (Arrows, Runes, Noted Items, GP, etc.) and increases the amount of said item by 20%, with rounding applied. Crafting these, of course... The crafting levels and experience will follow the math pattern of those before it. [hide= Crafting Stuff] Vambraces: 86 or 87 Crafting, one D'hide, 94 experience gained. Chaps: 89 or 90 Crafting, two D'hides, 188 experience gained. Body: 92 or 93 Crafting, three D'hides, 282 experience gained.[/hide] The White D'hide armour will require 80 Range and 50 Defense to wear, every piece of it. (no pures in my White D'hide ) To support: [url=http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?p=4915406#4915406] Higher leveled range armor? Click here to support White Dragons![/url] Well, that is about it. Hope you enjoyed the read. I put so much effort into this, I would appreciate any constructive criticism and/or support. ~Supporters~ Me... for now. :-w
  17. Really sorry to say this, but, the day of the KBD is dead. He is still the king... of BLACK DRAGONS! Doesn't make him the strongest dragon. His most fabled drop back in the day, the Dragon Medium Helmet, is now a piece of scrap metal, overshadowed by far better helmets (now even a Dragon Large). Just accept it, he is dead. Queen Black Dragon does sound nice though. Even White Dragons. :
  18. Yes, always, I only like hands-on skills such as, Mining, and Agility. *Waits for an angry mob of unhappy Runescapers*
  19. And you never once thought a rare might be a wise investment!? You, sir, are a fool. :P On a different note, I know that feeling.
  20. Invest in another skill? :?
  21. Yeah, cmon guys, if he wants to live his summer in front of the computer so he can get a 99 the slow and painful way then let him. Personally I think you should use your money and get 99 on gold from here on out... conserve what time you have. :|
  22. Great comparison, buddy.
