Isn't a longbow required for the tower minigame at the Rangers' Guild? Other than that and the dueling arena use outlined by Sharpeyex, I can't see a good use.

I have 2 lines of Runes/tiaras at the top, 3 lines of food, 3 lines of farming seeds (gp rests here), then a line of logs and knife, a line of gems and chisel, a line of arrows, several lines of clothes, a line of random but useful quest weapons (wolfbane, ogre bow, etc), then keys, then papery things (books, scrolls, tickets), then potions, fishing stuff, light sources, prayer-related stuff, a line of hunting equipment, a line of moulds, then ores and pickax, bars and hammer, then construction stuff. And all of that will stay in tab 1, except the lines of clothes. The rest will go in tab 2.

I play WoW, but only at friends' houses (and on their accounts). No way am I going to get myself hooked on World of Warcrack. Though I've played enough of both to state the following... WoW Overall, more intelligent community (comes from th $15/mo requirement) Easier chat system Limits professions so there isn't a huge gap between supply and demand (being s>d) Unlimited run Wider scope of abilities, allowing for... Strategizing Prettier RS Can solo the entire game Can be anything, limited only by levels Can hop servers to play with friends Minigames Interesting, exciting, or funny quests Instant travel I'm sure there's more, but in the end it all adds up to which you prefer more. And honestly, if I want a more intelligent community as well as strategizing, I'll just fire up Diablo 2 which costs me - get this - $0 a month. And, the grinding doesn't suck in D2.

As many as you can appropriately handle. As long as they know the situation they're getting into and still get into it willingly, it's fine.

If I need help because I spend money buying herbs and seconds and making them into potions for a loss because I like to see that shiny 57/57 by the picture of the herb instead of 1/1, then you need help because you spend money buying "cool armour" because you like to see the shiny colors on your avatar. If you're not having fun putting snape grass into potions, find something else to put them in. but guess what, that armour makes me stronger and lets me own more monsters,etc,etc. while that shiny 57 doesnt do anything >.> and why are you quoting my unedited post, i agreed that it was kinda harsh and bigoted. the point of my thread was that secondary skills are unrewarding, need a makeover/uptade and that there isnt much of a point in doing these skills as refined materials arent needed in bulk(other than pots). What armour? You never clarified. Castlewars armour isn't necessarily stronger than, say, dragon or barrows armour. Sure, rune canes and top hats are spiffy, yet they don't help much in the defense department. And the shiny 57 allows me to own- I mean, make more potions. What good is owning monsters, anyway? I quoted your unedited post because this is the internet, and once you say something, it doesn't go away. Be careful what you write. And if you still haven't caught it, everything I've pointed out about Herblore (and other seconds, but I am better with Herblore) is exactly the same as what you've said about owning. Only difference is that you're making money, I'm losing it. Again, it's a game, let people have fun with it whether they make money or lose it. Just play it your way and laugh silently at all the fools who keep buying your herbs and making your potions.

It took me an hour. Just be patient. Note that one of the upstairs guards is slightly faster than the other, so if it looks impossible, wait about 3-8 minutes.

Two on LD: Red Dragonhide (possibly other dhides) on a female - while bending over (for bone burying, crop picking, fishing), the stomach stretches from normal position to bent position. Mystic Hat - in chat screen the character's head is tiny! When I home tele'd to Lumbridge to use the canoes to go to the GE, I noticed the spiders on the river bank were attached to the ground, as the unicorn apparently is. Glitchy :D

First, I'd like to ask what the point of this thread is. Is it to convince nobody to do these skills since they are so "worthless"? Then where, might I ask, will you get Prayer Potions, when everyone is cutting wood instead of training the worthless Herblore? This is possible, and highly likely, in the event that Falador Diaries should someday manifest... Falador would stretch up through Ice Mountain and reach the Chaos Temple and Monastery. Perhaps Falador would include Taverly? Probably not. I'm getting a little ahead of the game though, so :-#

Varrock Diaries had us go to the Digsite, Barbarian Village, Edgeville, the Sawmill, the limestone mine, and through the sewers. There's no reason Lumbridge Diaries shouldn't point us to Draynor, Dorgesh-Kaan, or Al-Kharid.

I'm irked by this, as I've only been a member a total of 5-6 months, but have been registered with RuneScape since 2006. I do not pay constantly, as my parents insist on taking breaks for school. Because apparently, A's and B's mean I'm not "concentrating." /rant It may be time to talk to a new bank... (ps. I'm nearly 18, so I'm not just being rebellious.)

I avoid combat unless a quest or skill requires it, or if I really need money fast. So, that said, I'd choose: Woodcutting - I don't see anybody else doing it. I'm rich. Herblore - Again, I see nobody else doing it, and it has a wider variety of things to do. Also, herbs would be so very cheap since everyone can kill stuff. Construction - Again! I'd be one of the only ones with it, and after getting tons of money from the other two skills, I'd be more than set to train this. Party at my house every day, bring me your herbs and seconds and I'll make you potions!

I tried for 30 minutes to get into HD. The comp locked up 3 times, IE quit twice, and I got redirected once. So now I'm drooling over fires and shadows and my hawt character in LD.

I started the Diaries ASAP so I could just achieve stuff as I went about my merry way. It worked until the last achievement I needed (Varrock Easy) was the Museum mini-quest. 6 more for Medium, 12 more for Hard. (I make waka canoes all the time.) Karamja: must attempt Fight Pits/Cave for easy, 7 more for Medium, all for Hard >.> I want Karamja gloves 2 to claim my Agility Arena tickets :D

The fastest exp would probably be the highest potion you can make.
