Hi, I've got to kill blue dragons for slayer and was wondering if it was best to kill or skip them, I only got 65 ranged. So: melee them, do range em or skip em and get other task?

Pretty nice reward, tough zammy page was like 40k, guess not (now on GE for 147k) :P Also did one of the buggiest quests in the game: Death to the Dorgeshuun :shame:

You still get enough money out of it to buy your pots, I like to do them as slay assignment: both steel and iron dragons. Rune darts, rune limbs, rune throwing knives and bloods from 1 trip are most of the time enough to cover the cost for all your pots on the trip so you will end up with profit if you just fill up the remaining inventory space with dragon bones.

Hello everyone, as some of you may know, I'm working a bit on slayer (see sig). I used to follow the Tip.it Iron/Steel dragon hunting guide before to melee these dragons but now that I bought guthan I wondered if there isn't a better method(not wasting pray pots). I was thinking about killing them as I'd do normally (whip+dds+anti-dragon fire shield+) but instead of praying using guthan to heal when they start dealing some damage. Inventory: a few anti-fire potions (like 4 or 5), super str pots (3 or 4), super attack pots (3 or 4), a few monkfish/sharks incase I can't heal on time, other spots for drops Would this be better or won't I be able to heal on time? Or should I just use guthans all the time instead of my whip? (The drags are weak to stab attacks) Need some advice of an experienced drag slayer[/code] :ohnoes:

Rares will barely change in price after january I'll explain why: From january you won't be able to trade items 3k off their value, this value is based on the Grand Exchange price. Let's assume it's 1 january and a santa is worth around 22M on the GE (currently a little above 21.5M). You are only able to buy or sell santa's for 2197K-2203K. This means the maximum the santa can change in price a day is 3k, if everyone sells and buys at the maximum price that is! A maximum price fluctuation of 3k means a maximum drop or loss of 1M a year. Looks like jagex finally found a way to stall rare prices :-s If you got a santa now: don't panic. Prices won't drop if people don't sell em below the market price (wich is stupid but encouraged by greedy merchanters). I suggest sticking to your santa untill after the update in january so the prices of santa's go up as much as possible now so you'll be able to sell for a nice profit : Important note: This theory is only correct if you won't be able to buy/sell santa's for more than a 3k difference on the GE wich we don't know yet since it hasn't been mentioned yet by Jagex.

it wasnt a clear exageration at the time 41k were online it was the number that were online... what do you want me to do update it everytime someone logs on? When I logged on a week ago at 06:20 (GMT +1) there were also only 40k playing... does that mean that 80k players quit? No... You have to look at the average numbers, not on one specific time.

Nice guide, altough pics seems to be not working anymore... (red cross). ~ Owner of a fletching cape ~ But... nothing about making magic longbows? They are faster xp and gave me about the same profit when I got to 99 fletching. I don't know about today prices but I'm pretty sure people still buy them to alch (advice to fletchers: check the GE/forums). What makes you think everyone sells at lowest price? If an item really because under-valued players won't keep selling at lowest price and the item will go up.

Go thiesje \ [hide=OT] Seems like you think about the same as me about the new update. No more RWT and account hacking wich is a good thing. Only little negative side is the soon-to-be fixed prices on rares but that doesn't affect me much since I'm not really a merchanter (1 santa ). The reaction of most pures is a over the top since there still is bounty hunting wich basically just is the same as previous pking, only in a smaller area where the truly best wins. Lootshare needs some tweaking but I think Jagex is really thinking trough it all right now. [/hide]

RWT they would still be able to go into the wild with millions worth in items (armour, swords, ..) making it ineffective?

It's not because bots buy them lol, it's because of people use them for training fletching (eventually to lvl 99). If you got the cash to buy lots of logs you can put up an offer on the ge to buy like 100k yews... no bots needed lol. OT: I think it belongs here, it's advice, no real guide.
