Now, as I was saying, he pointed out two types of maturity, but earlier in the discussion it was established that they were interrelated, and it was before the separation of the two types of them. Also, literal expression certainly isn't standard for language, or phrases like 'Ants in your pants' or 'I feel like I'm on fire' would make even less sense.

Unfortunately, miasmic spells do very ugly things to rangers. And no one combat style should be able to completely dominate the weaker one. A ranger can stand up well to a meleer - even defeat them in some cases. It isn't an open and shut 'mage completely owns melee, melee completely owns range, range completely owns mage' situation.

I do too, and fun as it is to completely overpower people with magic, it's no fun when your the other two combat styles :-#

We already have huge mage bonuses with massive melee defence, as demonstrated earlier with some of my setups. Why would we make it MORE defensive AND offensive when it's overpowered on both fronts as it is?

Only after it maxes out, and even then its influence caries well into the 70s ;)

Actually, those would all be reasons why they shouldn't nerf a monster for no apparent reason. Why take away time they could be spending developing a new, cooler summoning monster instead of wrecking an old one?

Now, in response to your question: Yeah, I've thought of things that don't work, but they never make it to the posting stage. If they ever do, I hope someone comes in and tells me how inane the idea is. As for supporting, I don't think I've ever supported a suggestion thread in RSOF or TIF, so that's not really an issue. But I know that if I did, I would thoroughly research it and carefully weigh the pros and cons of each aspect of the update. Since you have given up on the thread and instead are moving on to me, I suggest you send me a PM to resolve any personal issues you have. I wouldn't want to clog up this thread with spam.
