  1. You read it, right? The thread creator does not think everyone should keep their skills at level one. They just want to know why and how people grind for higher levels. Answered in the first post. BECAUSE THEY ENJOY IT.
  2. It never could have dropped below 112k, and I'd be willing to bet that it'll go over 400k (at least in d stoning). D stoning? and why never below 112k? Its all irrelevant now I suppose, but I'm curious :P grim would of bought all tables for 112k each I thought Ghrim bought them for the GE price? :-w

Its all irrelevant now I suppose, but I'm curious :P D stoning is a method of transferring wealth without junk. Discussion doesn't seem to be allowed on these forums, as it can be used for RWT.

  5. Unless you have junk, you'll never be able to sell them before they crash. I merched 30 of them, traded 15 for 3a vambs and sold one for 3.2m with junk, but I can't do much now without junk. How do you know they'll crash, and when do you think they'll do so? They can be made for 1.2m. The only reason they are trading high is because junk is in popular demand. Once the GE price gets to a few hundred K, people like you and me - without any junk - will dump them and force the price down; there are currently too many tables, it's just that many of them are locked up without junk. I'll just sell them now lol... try to make a cool 1m off a 100k investment  You do know you can sell them to grim for 112k? I'd wait until GE price hits 350-400kish at least.

  8. Hilarious. We trains it cause we likes it. Yes, I do get that this is a sarcastic thread.
  9. Actually, the hatchet is faster than normal woodcutting if your woodcutting level is too low to use a dragon axe, and the armour is worthwhile at fairly low levels where it's hard to achieve the rates you need to get for it to be less efficient. But the hammer is probably still the best. Hatchet = 18k XP = 27k XP\hour needed to be made to make it break even, woodcutting = over 70k XP\h obtainable. Using SC tools when woodcutting will HALVE your XP rates. Armor is a similar situation, in both of them SC tools will slow down your XP.
  10. +19 slash? I'll keep my defender over that small defence boost that I won't need 99.5% of the time.
  11. It's only worth using on smithing and construction. So hammer. Anything else is just wasting time, money, and XP.
  12. D claws are stinky at 75 attack\73 strength. D bow is very nasty with 99 range (you happen to be 86) on 45 defence.
  13. Math doesn't help a lot, it's all experience. But since you seem to want to compare, I'll use a typical bandos outfit as an example. Bonus items: Nezy helm +3 strength Fire Cape +4 strength, +1 attack Fury +8 strength, +10 attack Bandos Tassets (K top or plate, I see K top more often so we'll use that) +2 strength Dragon Boots +4 strength Berserker Ring +4 strength Dark Gloves +12 strength, +12 attack Standard outfit for a 130+ team. Now, with godsword we get: 37 strength + 132 strength = +169 strength, 23 + 132 attack = +155 attack With whip we get: 37 strength + 82 strength = 119 strength, 23 + 82 = +105 attack Now, multiplying both of those by 1.5 compared to godsword gives us (same attack speed): Godsword: +169 Strength, +155 attack Whip (sim):+179 Strength, +158 attack Whip has HIGHER stats, any way you look at it. Specials are meaningless, d claws are being used for specials. I probably have more experience then everyone else in this thread combined with both weapons (Not bragging, it's just that I've done a LOT of testing), comprising thousands upon thousands of specs with both weapons, recorded, graphed, and analyzed, under identical conditions, and I can say with absolute certainty that #1: Claws are more accurate then AGS. #2: Claws have a higher max, and thanks to both weapons even hit spread, a higher average hit. Higher accuracy + higher average hit = superior weapon. Period.
  14. That's true. But for almost every game there is SOME sort of incentive. There is literally nothing worth using, with the VERY questionable exception of penance gloves. It's like the games room, only without the betting.
  15. All works aside from the 130 million accounts have been taken from Jagex financial records (Contact "me" for further information). 130 million accounts was taken from an ad run several months ago by Jagex, specifically a button reading "Runescape - Over 130 million accounts created!" Your just making yourself look dumber. Take a look at my numbers again. Customer Support: 140. Everything else combined: 122. Jagex is already over half customer support, dedicated to the SOLE purpose of banning accounts caught breaking the rules. I just proved that to even get a TINY fraction of the responses covered would be astronomically expensive - we're talking about 575,000,000 pounds per year to cover infrequent requests, which just so happens to be 57 times their profit. Anyone else see the math fail here? =D> Honestly, do you have any clue what you are talking about, or are you just pulling random numbers like '10% of their accounts are members' out of your behind? I'd like to see some sources on your great facts and solutions.
  16. Obviously you will. AGS has a lower max, meaning it's hit more often, a 1.5x higher combat requirement, and dark bow specials are delivered in 2 hit so as to hit higher on average. A 75-73 player will hit less then a 99 ranger at the same combat level virtually every time. The 73 player is looking at a 50ish max (with very low accuracy); the 99 ranger maxes 96 with very good accuracy, especially against ANY maging armor.
  17. [hide=]Take a trip to Canada. I did a 10 day backpacking trip, highly recommended if you like fish\fishing. Have to work your butt off though if you canoe in, and no running water\toilets + diarrhea after the toilet paper runs out makes for some *great* memories. And finding out that the 'bear' snuffling around your food sack is actually a raccoon. And recalling that if you twist your ankle the nearest sign of civilization is 150 miles and 4 days of paddling away.[/hide] Banned for liking fish
  18. Banned for 70-70-70 stats ruined by 72 HP...
  19. I'm surprised, I thought that p hats\masks weren't in as high of demand. D claw seem to be the 'hot' item, I get 20+ offers at time standing around in GE. Just say "no" then ignore them and they usually stop.
