  1. If you don't have any immediate use for the money and can always make more money, buy the Green Mask.
  2. Actually no. You need 4 pieces to complete the item, the two skull halves and the top and bottom of the sceptre. You then combine it to form a Skull Sceptre. The bottom half is dropped by Flesh Crawlers and the top by Catablepon. Stat wise, it stinks. It's only good for the 5 teleports it provides to Barbarian Village. After using all 5, it disappears and you need to make another one. You can only have 1 at a time. It doesn't look too bad either if you just want it for looks. There is a Tip.It page that has all this information: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=stronghol ... tm#rewards
  3. An easy way to find out for yourself is to go to the Runescape Manual and check if it's a Safe Minigame. http://kbase.runescape.com/viewarticle. ... le_id=2915 But yes, you will not lose anything if you die during BA.
  4. I don't think that's entirely true seeing that Guthan's Helmet is so much more expensive than the legs and plate. That may make sense for Guthan's Spear though, alone only.
  5. Isn't it a rarer drop than other barrows items as well?
  6. No, almost all gloves would work. I'm guessing it just meant no dragonhide vambs or anything.
  7. Basically every 250 shots a bow will degrade one level. However since the 'counter' is attached to the player, if the player were to switch bows before firing the 250th shot, the second bow would degrade, leaving the first at full. If you continue to do this, you would only degrade your second bow while your first bow is full. It's annoying though to count all your shots.
  8. Ya most people don't really make their own arrows anymore. It's easier to buy them from shops, at least for the cheaper arrows. And most people choose to just make knives with their iron/steel bars instead of darts and attaching feathers, like Stilev said.
  9. Technically you can craft Lunar clothing after you finish the quest. You can only do this though if you have saved tanned hides from the quest. Many people who did this the first day the quest was out didn't know that, but now it's included in most guides.
  10. I actually have seen a lot of people using them. Mainly Range pures though. I think the thing about darts that puts people off is attaching the feathers though.
  11. where may i find this? http://www.saam007.com/?JApp=hdesign
  12. And that's why I said a couple people on his list were in the same situation...
  13. Ya a couple people on None2None's list are banned already. That's why he said "I'll name a few I know were/are very rich:"
  14. Which is when you have defeated Elvarg and need to exit the dungeon (essentially when you have completed the quest). If you could use that door, you could of skipped everything about boarding the 'Lady Lumbridge' and crash landing on Crandor. Actually you don't need to defeat Elvarg. As soon as you land on Crandor and enter the volcano you can go through the hidden door. This then allows you to enter the hidden door from either side. At least this was how it was when I helped a low level player do the quest. He died to Elvarg a bunch of times and kept using the ship until he realized he could use the door.
  15. The 500k per hour is mainly from buying Chaos Runes and selling them to the shop for Tokkul and buying an Onyx Gem. Then the player crafts a Fury and sells it and usually gets around 500k profit depending on how much the Chaos Runes cost him. This process can be done usually between half and hour and an hour depending on how long it takes to buy the Chaos Runes and how fast you can sell the runes. But you actually don't need 90 crafting to do this. My friend does this without it and just finds a crafter to trade the gem for a fury. It may take longer but this enables players who can't craft them to still do this.
  16. For mage it's Robe Top, Robe Bottom, Hat and Amulet.
  17. If you haven't done the Quest yet, I would highly recommend getting extra hides while getting your first set of Lunar Clothing. It will save you the trouble of buying back your clothing because one NPC will still create the clothing for you if you have tanned hides.
  18. What about the other merchant uh... R2pleasent or something.
  19. SoS is the Stronghold of Security. Fleshcrawlers, Minotaurs, the spiders, Ankous are all great for training.
  20. Oh that's a different machine he has there. This still is on his table and much smaller.

  22. Stringing flax to bowstrings is a great way to level up crafting. It's slow but very profitable. Or you could craft cow hides which will be more expensive (if you buy) but a lot faster. Another option if you want to do cow hides is to do it all at the crafting guild.
  23. First you need some swamp tar. Then take it to the house west of Rimmington (the town south of Falador and west of Port Sarim). Talk to the chemist and he'll tell you how to make it. Use your swamp tar on the still in his house.
  24. Problem with that is the skiller will lose its level 3 combat. I don't think it could work with ring of recoils. The tree spirit can hit 10s and you could die. There's also the time limit of which you need to kill the tree spirit in, before it disappears. If you keep dying you won't have enough time to kill it. I helped a friend do it at level 3 but he was using magic and range. Even then he could barely do it.
  25. Kill Cave Slimes in the Lumbridge Swamp Dungeon. They always drop 1-9 tars and are very easy to kill. Bring a light source and anti poisons though.
