  1. Well so did I, and keyboard does take a little getting used to. But once you do it is so much better, also PC version of Tf2 rapes the console version. You get updates, bug fixes, more players, custom maps, skins etc. If your pc can run tf2 decently there really is no reason to get it on the console rather than PC. You can even hook up a 360 controller to your computer if you like controllers that much :P But unless your name is Mr. 19 odds are you'll get raped playing with a controller.
  2. I don't get it... what do you all have against football? Did you all get beaten up by your school's linebackers or something? On-topic: I only got to see the second half + the halftime show. Some [wagon] thought it would be real funny to schedule my hockey game for 9:00.
  3. Double post, but no one posted for awhile. Me and knex2 got to scrim for the first time with our clan ^_^ He went spy and I went scout. Our clan ran a pretty messed up set-up for a scrim (Normal set-up for competitive players like, like in CEVO-P, is 2 scouts, 2 soldiers, a medic and a demo), we ran 1 engy, 1 medic, 2 scouts, a spy, and a pyro. We steamrolled them XD. Out of 15 games they won twice I think, once on badlands and once on granary. Honestly, they had good soldiers, a good medic, a decent heavy, etc, but they only ran 1 scout and he sucked balls. Me and the other scout on my team constantly dominated him, and with that scout out of the way we double teamed people like crazy. Fighting 2 decent scouts with good aim at the same time is insanely hard, especially if you're a medic healing someone XD. Whatever we didn't kill, our pyro/medic and spy got. At one point knex managed to take out 4 guys on the middle point of granary as spy, by himself. You can ask him about it, it was pretty insane. As for our engy... well he didn't do a lot since the other team never really pushed... 8 games on badlands and he got 2 points I think.

    Haha, I was right

Let's see... The original probability of getting a car is 1/3, or 33%. The original probability of getting a goat is 2/3, or 66%. When door three is opened and it has a goat, the game is changed and we have a new set of probabilities: The new probability of getting a car is 1/2, or 50%. The new probability of getting a goat is 1/2, or 50%. I'd say there is no advantage to switching from the original choice of door 1. According to 21 switching doors apparently does have some sort of benefit, can't remember what though.
  6. Not always. Look at SF2THDR Well I'm pretty sure that was remade by a competitive SF player, not an actual company.

THE GOAT PROBLEM IS FROM 21. God that took awhile.
  8. Some bands I like: Guns n Roses Seether Shinedown Aerosmith Van Halen Bang Camaro (sorta) KISS If someone could recommend some music that would be great, I have a fairly limited collection of music atm (under 500 songs total)

Don't get me wrong, Robot Chicken is funny.. but it certainly isn't sophisticated humor either. :P Robot chicken is cruel but hilarious. "One of these kids is not like the other! One of these kids is not like the other, one of these kids is dead!"

It's not really everyone looking at me that kills me, since 99% of the class is looking into space or crapping their pants about their own piece. It's just that I'm really nervous that if I mess up, I don't get a second shot at it. And since a lot of my test pieces are very short, maybe 8-10 bars long, I don't really get an opportunity to just get lost in the music like I can with longer exam pieces.
  11. Well, the bug fixes didn't hurt anything, but I was hoping for Valve to fix the hitboxes more than anything.
  12. I think someone from the Rainbow Six book is named Alistair Stanley or something like that.

This is something I seriously need help with. One of the classes at my school that I take is music, which I love. However, how they evaluate you is having you play a certain song/piece once, in front of the entire class. But lately it seems that no matter how hard I practice for these tests, I always get a mediocre grade because I'm too nervous to play to the best of my ability. The same thing applies to public speaking. Is there anything that can help this? I mean at this rate I'll have to drop music by the time I graduate since it's dropping my average, but that's something I don't want to do.
  14. Maybe his brother has been sentenced to death inside the prison, and he needs to get inside the prison to break him out with some insanely cunning plan... Sorry, I just watched 2 seasons of prison break in 2 weeks.
  15. Well my religion class would be a lot less interesting if my teacher didn't pick on this short kid in my class. "Wow, that was a hit below the belt. I realize you can't hit any higher but still" "Don't have such a short temper" "Wow, you're attention span is small" One time he wrote on the board "[name] can't erase this" near the top of it. Everyone had a good chuckle watching this kid jump up and down trying to erase it.
  16. I love these comics so much : Seriously, they're constantly funny and always have a twist to them, which is awesome.
  17. Just go pyro and run at people spamming flames. The majority of TF2 players are too dumb to realize how to counter it. I'm still wondering if you're joking, you said that before, too. It's obviously an easy way to just get yourself killed, and I fear that I just messed up some prank. Well I was joking to an extent. Pyro is definitely the easiest class to get kills with if people don't know how to counter it. Most TF2 players don't realize that S+M1 with any class beats W+M1 pyro
  18. Harvey's followed by McDonalds. I don't know how you guys can stand BK, it's so gross.

  20. Everything is better with friends, so yes I would much prefer to do stuff with my friends compared to doing stuff alone.
  21. I've been practicing as spy a bit too. I've gotten better on smaller scale matches (8v8) but large matches (12v12) can be a nightmare sometimes. I've noticed that in large scale matches a lot of lower-HP classes become a lot less useful due there being a ton more spam.
  22. I had to read Romeo and Juliet for school. I hated it so much, especially after my teacher had the bright idea to make us read the entire thing out loud, with every classmate given a different role. Some parts ended up being pretty funny though, since it was a guy who had to play the wet nurse XD. I didn't even find the story that interesting. I mean Romeo falls in love with Juliet on day 1. Day 2 they get married. Day 3 they both commit suicide. The fact that you have to read it line-by-line, trying to decipher what exactly Shakespeare is trying to actually say is the biggest pain in the [wagon] of all time. The real kicker to all this was that my class had to watch the modern-day adaption of R+J, starring Leonardo Dicaprio. Horrible movie.

Not in the UK I'm guessing.
  24. Bleh, can you give me some pointers on how to do grabs? I mean I have no problem getting air, but for some reason I just can't bring myself to grab the board.

    Well that's a little ironic.
