  1. It looks like a double-pl map to me. And if you watch really good scouts (CEVO-P level), then you realize that they rarely end up using their pistol. Wow, I just got this on stumble upon. So what's the side effect to "Atomic Punch"? Obviously, you can't just run around drinking it and never ever die. Do you slow down? I'm guessing that 1 out of every ten drinks will make you slow down to the speed of a heavy for a few seconds after the high :? I'm guessing that every drink makes you slow down after the high. If it didn't this would be brutally overpowered in the right hands. You'd essentially be giving the scout a speed boost which doubles as a mini-uber whenever he wants with a side affect only happening 10% of the time? Not really liking this update so far. It's just giving the scout a bunch of weapons that will make bad people do well with him :/

Learned a versus lesson the hard way on Monday. Me and a friend were playing as the survivors, we all get to the saferoom, except for 1 guy gets smokered at the top of the stairs (NM1). I go to help him, get pounced. My friend comes to help me, he gets pounced. The last guy gets there, gets the hunter off me but then gets pounced. Long story short, what should have been 1000+ points turned into 99.
  3. All I can think of is to reinstall :/. Do you have Clear Sky or Shadow of Chernobyl? To anyone who gets this game, there are 2 different types of mods you should download: an endurance mod, which increases your maximum weight limit, and a mod that makes the guns more accurate.

Arguing with a brick wall is still arguing in circles. I mean either way you're not getting anywhere.

It's the spread dude, the spread... I didn't know that point blank the majority of shotgun pellets [bleep]e upward. I personally think it's the hitbox.

I got crownd on my first try today. I was playing with my friend on easy, walked up to a witch, aimed and her chest and just unloaded. My is it considered a headshot if you hit her chest :?
  7. Yup. I found a backpack lying around that had a silenced pistol and a bunch of ammo in it. Well eventually you'll start finding dead bodies with AKs or shotguns on them. If you want to make a little bit of money, a good way to do so is by looting a bunch of dead bodies for guns and then selling them to the nearest trader/stalker. It really only becomes effective once you start finding the higher level guns though.
  8. Objectives aren't far between each other at all...especially compared to other games in the genre like Fallout 3. And comparing the shooting systems in this game to COD4 and GoW is like comparing ice cream to apples. There is multiplayer, for the record.

    Aren't you a metal fan?

Congrats to 20 pages of arguing in circles everyone.
  11. I got this all the time playing football. The first week and a half I would wake up so stiff and sore that it hurt to walk. Although I love that feeling you get after a really hard workout.
  12. Great games. I have both, never got around to beating the first but I'm about 15-20 hours into #2 and it's awesome. Exploring the Zone is truly enjoyable, with side quests and pockets of loot hidden throughout. One of the things I like the most, though, is that action is never too far away. When assigned a mission, you really only have to run for up to a minute before reaching the destination. You are also rewarded for exploring with new guns, ammo, medkits, and artifacts (which, when equipped, give you special abilities such as resistance to radiation). Day/night cycle also works well, and night is downright creepy once you run into bigger mutants. The last thing is that it's actually a challenging game series. You're never really spoon fed anything, as you have to slowly build up your gear/gun supply (like in Fallout 3). Traders will do their best to rip you off, as they buy your items for a tenth of the price at which they're sold at. This makes it more rewarding to go out and loot bodies to find weapons for yourself.
  13. Not always. Look at SF2THDR Well I'm pretty sure that was remade by a competitive SF player, not an actual company. It was made by a company. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Stre ... o_HD_Remix It says right there that the lead designer was David Sirlin, a competitive SF player... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Sirlin
  14. Makes me feel bad lol, I just got my 18,000th post yesterday I think. ( just noticed it :wall: ) Also scout update needs to hurry up, even though I'm playing sniper a lot and scouts all over the place will be a [bleep] lol. I'm not sure if a lot of people will try playing scout more. Most will just run in a straight line towards the enemy, get blown into a billion pieces go "wow scout is [cabbage], back to pyro," then never touch him again xD
  15. 1) Wake up at 6 because of my alarm clock. Hit snooze until 7. 2) Head downstairs, browse the internet and watch prison break on my laptop. 3) Head back up at 7:30 and get dressed/brush teeth/brush hair 4) Hop in carpool. 16. I got Pyro Milestones 2 and 3 In 2 lives... So I think I screwed up my pyro record quite a bit. Medic achievement servers messed up my stats. I have 90000-something heal points in one life, plus 171 points in one life as medic.
  17. bf1942 didn't have iron sights iirc, BF2 was the first in the series I think. Phew, thought I was a little stupid for a second there XD
  18. What I'm getting from most people is this: "Well, at first I absolutely hated metal, but eventually I got used to how bad it was and now I love it." Sorry if I took that the wrong way...
  19. I played BF1942 for a bit, but I got tired of it. This was mostly because...well... I couldn't figure out how to use sights on any guns (if you could use them in the first place...).
  20. Well you don't have to intentionally miss, but you should tone it down a bit. I thought that most coaches don't like to run up the score, as it makes you seem like a jerk. If my hockey or football team is winning 6-0 or 52-0, then my coaches will tell us to take it down a notch. You play till the game is over. What team sports do you play? This isn't war mate, it's a recreational game. Honestly when i played football or basketball we scored as much as we could as fast as we could. Obviously with football you run the ball to take time off the clock but you never stop trying. Honestly if I see a team purposefully trying to run the score up in a game when it's clear that the other team has no chance I'll assume the people on the winning team are [wagon]. When my hockey team leads by 5 goals or more, we go into a defensive mode and just run a trap at centre ice and dump the puck into their end.

  22. I hate how people get snow days because of 4-5 inches. For me to have a snow day the subway needs to shut down, which needs 4-5 feet of snow.
  23. There's this guy on a server me and knex play on who's goddamn unstoppable with the crosshairs. He hits you once you're basically screwed; close range he'll machete you, mid range he'll smg you or no scope you again, and long range he'll scope and headshot you as you run.
  24. Love the update. I hate the sniper being able to use crosshairs though, it makes no scoping way to easy, which sucks if you're playing a sniper with good aim and you're a light class. Natascha got a nice boost but no one seems to use it (good for me I guess). It makes my life as scout tougher, but in reality the only difference between it and sasha is that is you get penalized if the heavy catches you on the approach.
  25. Uh, what?
