Frags are easy to dodge o.0? They explode 0.5 seconds after hitting something.

I've been trying out the G3 lately, it's actually pretty good. If you suck with a G3, do what my brother did and go buy a turbo controller off ebay :lol: There's 2 things about this game that are pissing me off: 1) Random cross-map grenades that bounce off 2 or 3 random objects like antennas, a dead guy, and some random crack like it's a game of plinko, which ends up killing me. 2) People who take a SAW and deep impact and spray walls randomly, but get kills for it. You shouldn't get kills for firing bullets at random walls.

Gears 2 IMO is what gears should have been like originally. Better netcode and non-random shotgun, more balanced weapons, stylized executions, more game modes (even though horde and guardian seem to ripped straight from RSV2). The best thing is that they're keeping the core gameplay the same and not drastically changing anything, like the change from Halo 1 to Halo 2 to Halo 3.

I once made a super long thing, like a train, and on each car there was many turrets and junk, and on the last one I spawned a huge number of zombies... I was driving around with zombies in my train lol If I did that, my computer would lag up and freeze :cry:

I decided to pick up this game along with my new laptop. It looks pretty good, but the only MMO I've played is Runescape, so I'm not sure how well I'd adjust.

I love this game. My favourite thing to do is make a car with sawblade wheels, but with turrets and more sawblades sticking out in every direction. Then I spawn a huge pack of zombies, fire the turrets and drive into the middle of them so that the blades and turrets dice the zombies to pieces :thumbsup:

Hmm, this is a tough one. Tie between Halo 1, Half life 1/2 + episodes, Counter Strike, or Shadowrun.

I have that same problem. I'm fascinated by zombies, but at the same time they scare the [cabbage] out of me. This isn't a regular fear either, it's highly irrational and at one point it got to the point where I couldn't be in the dark. It probably started when I watched Land of the Dead when I was 10 or so and it traumatized me. Any zombie movie with obscene amounts of gore will give me nightmares. But even after all the trouble that these flicks caused me, I still can't stay away. Ugh, I blame George Romero.

Haha, we did that at camp when I was 10 or so. We were taking a hike through an area on the camp, when my counselor stopped to go to the bathroom. He went inside a bottle and gave it to another camper and told him it was lemon-flavored water.

If you wanted sources I could give them to you. I can see why people would think that, I just don't agree with it.

How are they nerds? They don't necessarily play anymore than a more-than-casual gamer per day. They don't sit in there basement for 22 hours a day sweating, drinking red bull and eating hot pockets. They play other sports, they have girlfriends/boyfriends. What people seem to ignore is that pro gamers game as a job. The top 3 MLG teams all have 250,000 dollar contracts plus sponsorships plus tournament winnings. Is there anyone here who wouldn't want to game as a job?

The stereotype of "all pro gamers are fat nerds" is so off it's not even funny. I doubt anyone here (besides maybe Monkeyboo) watches MLG tournaments, but you'd be hard pressed to find a fat guy on a top team there (there used to be one fat guy named Karma, but he lost something like 90 pounds and is now normal-weight). If you watch Final Boss play, they look like they're Holocaust victims.

My family just took a 2 week trip to Italy, there were some good stories but this is probably the best. We were swimming in a pool by our hotel, and my sister started talking to this 10 year old girl. Here's the conversation, starting with my sister talking. "Where are you from?" "New Jersey, where are you from?" "Toronto" "Is that in the US?" "No, it's in Canada" "Where's Canada?" :wall:

@ Nadril: I can see where you're coming from. I personally think that the 1st game had the most depth out of any of them though. Halo 3 is just point-shoot-kill. Halo 1 had other factors that made it deeper than the other 2 i.e. learning to control spawns, timing weapons and powerups, 3sk, being able to grenade weapons to yourself from anywhere on the map, etc. I can understand how Halo 3 has a horrible online community made up of whiny 8-year olds, but Halo 1 had no online so you can't really complain about it having a bad online community :D

I'll be up for some Tf2 PC games as soon as my laptop arrives for anyone who has me on steam. If there's a good server up, I'd also play for 360 if anyone hits me up.

Why exactly is Halo 1 mediocre? I can see why you think it might be overated, and that it was an extremely basic shooter. But it was fun.

Halo 2+3 were huge letdowns to me, although Halo 3 was probably the biggest. Nadril, have you played Halo 1 multiplayer for more than 20 minutes? There was so much depth and skill involved in that game that it's regarded as the best-ever competitive console shooter.

I just looked at the m1530, base price is $2000.

Can you link me to where you customized that laptop? The lowest priced XPS I can find is $1,999.
