Call of Duty: World at War
The biggest thing I'm disappointed about is that I won't find out about what happened to Cpt. Price or Soap. They kinda left me hanging on that one. There is one big difference, though. They took out the force-empty reload on the M1 :x and removed all recoil from the guns :x I personally think that they're gonna bring back the noob tube from COD4 in the form of that weird attachment that you put on the M1 that launches frags.

Call of Duty: World at War
When in comes to SP, yeah I can agree with you there. WWII IS getting old, most people know that. Create a class was a nice feature, but it wasn't a massive innovation. The games modes weren't exactly new and exciting gametypes. Some were interesting, but there really wasn't anything new and spectacular.

Call of Duty: World at War
Pfft, so was COD4. Was it really all that different? It was COD1, 2, 3 just with upgraded graphics and a different skin. The core gameplay was basically the same.

Why is it wrong for males to hit females?
^ I don't think that's the point everyone is trying to make here. What most are saying is that is that if you attack someone, they'll defend themselves regardless of gender.

Acne *Dun dun dun!*
I have acne, but not very bad. The acne-control-stuff works very well on me, I'm just too lazy to put it on

Halo Discussion thread
Lenin the map you're talking about is Boarding Action from Halo 1. IMO H1 had the best maps in the series, or at least better than Halo 3. Halo 3 maps are too over-textured, for example top mid on Guardian. Throwing a grenade there is like playing Plinko. Halo 1/2 also had smaller maps, which meant faster games. Larger maps + slower movement speeds= slower games.

Halo Discussion thread
If you want to test really how good you are with a sniper, you gotta be playing in a regular game, preferably trying to take out a BR user. IN snipers matches everyone just stands still.

Hehe, I remember the [wagon]-hair thread now. I remember showing it to my bro and how disgusted he was.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
IDK, they've already removed the force-empty reload on the M1, they might do something else impossible. ACOG scopes will be on the BAR's, I'm calling it now. But it all seriousness, they better add some form of customization or they're even behind GoW2 in that department. Maybe some different ammo types?

Parental Controls, are you cursed by them?
That would suck. I'm soooo glad I have my own computer, and anyway by the time by sister hits that age and starts obsessing with that stuff I'll be halfway through University :P On topic, my parents don't know jack-crap about computers. My parents both work/worked for an advertising agency, computer programming really isn't there area of expertise. After 5 years I still have to show them how to attach files to emails.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
If you've watched the COD5 footage (if that's what your talking about) the recoil of the guns isn't any different from COD4. Stuff like the MP44 will equal the M4, and the M1 Garand will likely be a carbon-copy of the G3, etc etc.

Nobody said Eddie Van Halen yet?

No, Testicular Torssion was by far. If anyone would be able to dig that up, they would be a god to me  . I think I remember that thread. What was it about?

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Isn't that like half the assault rifles :P ? I find HS's are very hard to get in COD4 because of the reticule magnetism. It really just takes too long to go from aiming your RDS at their torso to their head.

My 360 arrives back from MS in a few days. As much as I've dissed Halo lately, I have this extremely strong urge to hop on and play some MLG matches. Hurry up 360 :wall:

Zombie Plans-Revised
Alright, so I'd assemble of team of me, an old Vietnam vet, a rich kid, and a hot chick. Then we fight endless hordes of zombies, both slow and special, using teamwork to survive. After many close calls, we end up in safety and live happily ever after. Then we go on and have a video game made about us.

Racing Games
Right now I rarely play anything that isn't a shooter or a shooter/rpg like S.T.A.L.K.E.R, but when I was younger I used to love Mario Kart: Double Dash (I dominated my neighborhood at it) and NFS: Hot Pursuit 2. The later NFS games have really sucked in my opinion. Underground was bad to me because they had no cop chases, Carbon was alright, but it felt watered down compared to HP2. Pro Street was just flat out bad. It just felt like a very generic racing game, with EA giving you the ability to buy the best cars in the game right off the bat for real life money :wall: I've also played a little bit of Forza 2 for 360. It was actually pretty fun, but I never truly got into it.

So the 360 has been selling 2x that of the PS3 in Japan
I don't know, I'm pretty sure the only title this year going to sell 5 million+ is GoW2. Sure GH4 might sell well, but if people already have Rock Band or a different GH game, I'm not sure if they'd be willing to shell out more money on it. COD5 will probably get some decent sales because of how popular COD4 was, but I doubt it'll outsell Gears. Moving back to WWII probably alienated a lot of fans of COD4, and while they do share some similarities (built for the masses, no recoil on the guns, perks), the odds of another WWII game (by Treyarch as well) outselling a huge AAA title like Gears is slim. Think about it. Gears is going to huge because it's a new game for everybody. People will be tired of COD4 and Halo 3, and that's when they release Gears.

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
Oh God, I hope that the actual game isn't affected by EA. If it is, we're gonna be seeing a 1-hit-kill weapon that you can buy for 15.99, plus a 25 cent cost every time you use it
-
Battlefield: Bad Company.
Considering the only new guns you can get are if you buy the Gold Edition, it's no different than limited edition games. They don't even make a difference, if you're even slightly skilled you can make it to rank 25 and get them for free #-o Well, you can also get the guns individually off the XBL marketplace, but that's beside the point. My point is that charging people to unlock high-level equipment in any game is a bad policy. EA has been doing this for a very long time and it's starting to piss me off. They did this in Battlefield 2, 2142, Tiger Woods, Prostreet, etc etc.
-
Battlefield: Bad Company.
What's bad about the paying is that EA does this with a lot of games and it's starting to get worse. Charging money for people to unlock end-game stuff is bad. I wouldn't be surprised if they just came out with a nuke that destroys the entire battlefield for $19.99. A good example is Prostreet. You could just buy the best cars instead of unlocking them by playing the game. This meant that the rich kids could buy the best cars and absolutely destroy the people online who didn't pay for their cars.

Battlefield: Bad Company.
EA failed when the game came out by charging people money to buy the best guns.

Ads that actually work
You gotta hand it to Disney though, they know how to make money.
