if u could have a superpower, wat would it be?
Yes, I get what you're saying I suppose. But that's why I said "with limits"- if you just give people the power to control as large an object they want with as much force as they want, well, that's bordering on asking for the power of omnipotence. Yawn. Here's a hypothetical conversation between you and another poster: Shorty: "Hey, I can control water! I can make ice shards!" Half the other posters: "Cool! I can control water too! And lava! And metal! And land masses! And your mom! If it's matter, it's mine! And of course, I own you 'cause I can pick up the remote without getting up off the couch! HA!" New superpower fantasy.

Enough with the Chuck Norris crap
Go subscribe to Nintendo Power. You'll be sick of the jokes in 2 issues.

Enough with the Chuck Norris crap
Only Chuck Norris can wipe out the entire OT board with a roundhouse kick. In seriousness, ya, Chuck Norris jokes are very overused. When I had a subscription to Nintendo Power a few years back, there was a Chuck Norris and Mr. T joke every 3 pages.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
My head hurts! I better put this in a hide in case someone hasn't seen it.. [hide]How, exactly did Elizabeth's Father die? Oh, and how did the Kraken die? Is that what the guy meant when he said "made you destroy your pet" or something to that effect?[/hide] this is how [hide]lord cutler beckett killed him...[/hide] and.. part 3 OWNS!! part two is the WORST. part one is the best.. but part two worst but still good.. the worst trilogies ever is matrix and star wars..NO FLAMING..its my opinion..respect that Matrix was so confusing....I gave up after the first 40 minutes of the first movie. Episodes 1,2,3 in the SW series were bad. Good special effects, bad acting. Episodes 4,5,6 were pretty good though.

Same here. I also normally do/end things with a odd number, normally 3 or 5. E.g. When I put away a snack, I eat 5 more, then put it back.

Oh no! Can't afford summer camps this year!
there are in quebec, they're called le hood, they are like in America but with more French gangsters and snowier theres such thing as a French gangster? I thought the Russians and Italians had that market cornered. I live in Canada (Ontario), and I had no idea that there were Quebec gangsters :-k They must do drive by shootings with paintball guns instead of real guns or something.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I belive that the Kraken doesn't kill you, but takes you to hell, so then they just came and rescued him from hell. By the way, Jack wanted the heart so that the Kraken wouldn't kill him, not so much Davy Jones :) But doesn't Davy Jones control the Kraken?

Military Blunders (mistakes)
Persian and Greek style of fighting was completely different. The Persians relied on Cavalry, archers, and lightly armored quick strike infantry. On an open battlefield where they could maneuver they were deadly. Their weaknesses were if their leader fled, they would all flee(ala. Alexander's victory), and if they went head to head against heavy melee troops without the ability to maneuver they were at a disadvantage. The Greeks favored heavy infantry in closed fighting formations. In a straight up battle they were deadly. Their weakness was being flanked because their formations didn't adapt well to changing directions. Two factors played a huge role in the Persian defeats in Greece. First is a tactical factor is that the two main battles fought on land against the Greeks involved terrain where maneuvering was difficult and they were forced to go head to head with tough heavily armored Greek Hoplites. The second weakness was a strategic weakness involving supplies. When the Persians invaded Greece with their massive armies the only sensible way to supply their army was by sea. If their navy lost their army automatically had to retreat because they would have no supplies without the navy. At Battle of Marathon where they were first defeated the Greeks were able to attack them near the coast before they could fully deploy in marshy ground that messed up the deployment of their cavalry. This enabled the Greeks to maximize their strengths while minimizing the Persian strengths. After Thermopylae in the second great invasion Athens won a massive naval victory over the Persian navy that severely weakened their war effort and was the main cause of their eventual defeat. Good points. But I don't think that the Persian's should have lost the Battle of Salamis. They outnumbered the Greek's 3 to 1 in terms of total ships. I think that if the Persian's strategy was a bit better, they would have won more battles. For example, when Xerxes deployed the first 10,000 troops at Thermopylae, they were lightly armoured and armed with swords and short spears. Obviously that won't get you far against a Greek phalanx made entirely of long spears and heavily armoured hoplites.
