  1. That'd be pretty awesome considering salmonella only comes from eggs and poultry. O rly?!? I thought it came from any type of raw meat. Woah, when you posted that, your post count was 666 :o
  2. 1. Herblore 2. Farming 3. Slayer 4. Runecrafting 5. Agility
  3. Definitely not. A cow's top speed is what, 2 miles an hour? Btw, cow's divert 63% of their energy to urine, gas release, and feces :P Proven fact.
  4. The idea of having to find a substitute for meat doesn't really appeal to me. I love meat. Meat is part of a healthy diet. I really don't want to be a protein-pill popping 12 year old, when I could just eat a hamburger. I'm fine with vegetarians, as long as they don't start with the whole " Killing animals" thing. If you brag about being a better person for being a vegetarian, that I'm not fine with. Why doesn't anyone realise that plants are living things? Just because it doesn't have a face doesn't mean it's not alive.
  5. ty for the clarification. I prefer those topics over discussions about abstract problems actually. Anyway on topic. upon injury the body releases endorphines. Some people cut themselves for sexual pleasure. S&M people do partly pretty wierd things. Most people who cut themselves probably do it, because they suffer from emotional pain and cutting is relieving. So if i'd cut myself and somebody would laugh at me for that, i'd just laugh straight back and tell him, that i enjoy it. No matter what you do, stand up for it and eventually you can't get hurt by anybodys laughter anymore. People won't laugh at you anymore though, as soon as you are completely self-confident. So thank every bully for immunizing you. In the end you'll be strong because of them. Didn't I say the thing about endorphines in another thread related to this one? Endorphines release physical pain, not emotional. Cutting yourself to release emotional pain is a phycological thing. Nevermind, I just realized something. Released endorphines make you happier. They also get released when you exercise, so exercising would do the same thing as cutting :?
  6. Keep track of whoever said that, and in 10 years, find what Macdonalds they work at, and shove that insult in their face. I rarely get bullied. That's because I'm not scared of many people from my school, even if they're in grade 12 (grade 7 atm). If they do try and insult me, I insult them back, or pop 'em. They usually shut up after they find out that you won't be tossed around like a rag doll.
  7. I didn't say I didn't like construction, it's one of my favourite skills, yet I absolutely hate the money sink part of it. You might get free xp from the seeds you get, but what if you tried to raise farming to 99? That'd be brutal.
  8. I thought that the capes were used for rcing and agility :-k The salamanders work well for barrows, black does anyway. The crossbow is a cheaper one than rune, as well as better. Second to only karils xbow, it's a good weapon, yet kinda hard to get ammo for. Here are the skills hunter impacts: Agility Runecrafting Range Thieving
  9. Nah, it's just you.... and about 1 billion other people.
  10. Boring? Maybe. Annoying? Not so much. Some of the rewards are great, such as the chinchompas. Others stink, like the barb tailed harpoon ( meh, I like it, but it's one of the weaker rewards)
  11. It still takes alot of work to get a good total level. It's not like it's no big deal to reach 1900+ total because of a new skill. Hunter doesn't give out 130k xp per hour. That makes leveling a little more challenging. A challenge is something that most people avoid in this game, and Jagex has only made things easier now with pc, gilded altars, and pyramid plunder. All we're missing is a uber-easy way to train agility and herblore.
  12. When the plants die, that's the worst thing that can happen. Plants are the source of all energy in the food chain. If the plants die, then the herbivores die, and if the herbivores die, the carnivores die, and if all animals die, we die.

If a guy held a gun to my head, it would scare the [cabbage] out of me. Knife, not so much. Just run like hell. But just because you have a gun doesn't mean you can aim. For example, alot of trained gunman can barely hit a high speed moving target. A guy without training with a gun? Geez, the recoil would probably mess up his shot so much that they'd miss.
  14. I would be concerned more about that radiation poisoning that the russian ex-spy got hit with. Apparently 1 microscopic piece can kill you. The media can make everything or anyone sound big. "Bird flu could kill 50 million people," yes well, 13 nukes going off at the same time in central america could kill 50 million people as well. There's always a new disease out there. Once they come close to finding a cure for one, another pops up. Bird flu is kinda old though, isn't it? ATM, they're close to finding a cure for cancer, as in 5 years close. The basic idea is to launch nano bombs into your blood, which latch on to cancer cells, and when detonated, they kill the cancer cells.

Guthans is good for a wide range of things, except for actual training. It's especially useful for abby demon camping and dag kings.
  16. Why are *some* people so against hunter? e.g. 1 Hunter FTW!!!1!!1 It's not a money sink ( construction), it's not hard to train (farming) and it's not a useless skill. It benefits many other skills, such as agility, range, and rc. The only reason I can think of that would make people not like it is that it won't get you " some uber awsome money making item." It lets you shoot live flamthrowers, get an imp to do your bidding, create new clothes, fish a new type of fish with stripy feathers, and even lets you throw exploding rodents at people..... What's wrong with this skill, because I can't find any major flaws.

If it gets out of hand, there's always shock therapy...
  18. That sounds about right... Yeah, it will take awhile. Then, when you get to 85, you get to look forward to being ganked by the Runite ore PKers just waiting to relieve you of your hard earned prize. That what Jagex calls F2P "fun" Members have another 4 Runite ore rocks that they can mine. Ya, but one of those rocks is in the wildy, one is somewhere in arougne surrounded by dark beasts ( impossible to mine there without prayer), and the other 2 are in the heroes guild, which is brutally crowded at peak times. So mining rune rocks isn't exactly easy, wether you're member or not.

@ kelem_ryu In Toronto, a lot of people die due to smoking. Likely around 100,000 a year. That may not seem like that much, but since Toronto inhabits only 2-4 million people, thats a lot. Guess how much polution kills? Around 100. I know about this, I just did a current events project on it. on topic: I will never smoke. A family friend of ours died slowly from lung cancer, not good. He couldn't speak for 3 months. My grandfather on my dad's side died from lung cancer while I was -20 years old. Smoking scares me :ohnoes:

Ya, but then you'll need a mansion and a nice bath robe for the " rich guy" look

Go winter :!: Hehe, solstice is a cool word
  22. I spend ALOT. I can never seem to save up. That's likely why I don't have my first mil yet.
  23. I'm not really affected by fashion, given that I go to a private school. What are people going to say? " Oooohh! That leather belt is off da hook!" When fashion did apply in my life, I just wore whatever was comfortable. That normally meant loose cargo pants ( I don't low-ride), sneakers, a comfortable t-shirt, and maybe a loose-fitting sweater if it was cold.
