didnt they say u need mage or range only? read update
  2. Dumb question: Any iron/steel weapon? Or does it mean one item/prayer with whip, dlong, dds etc?
  3. The whole time I was doing the hunt for the outfit I was learning more about Canafis/mort Myre area. I also went up one attack level and one hp lvl. I got lots of supplies to use for smithy, fletchin, herblore and runecrafting. I personally find would cuttin very boring but the outfit is very uncommon. I ddint see one other person wearing it or getting as much xp per log as myself. I just need a d axe now. How many yew longs will that be? 4k ?
  4. I finally got full lumberjack outfit this morning. I wish I would have had a good guide since it took me about 10hrs to get it. I did have fun because I did it with a friend. I collected over 120 snake hides. I sold snakeskin boots for 4k ea. I had 53 giant snail shells. Sold them for 30k to the goblin in new Dorgeshun. Sorry I didnt keep better track of all my xp. I think I might try for another set for my bro. If u want this for inspiration, I get 180 xp per yew log while everyone else only gets 175 xp. And I used rabbits foot with it and got 3 nests for 300 logs approx.
  5. Great. I trained on them til lvl 70 and got tons of iron ore and herbs. Cheapest xp in rs. Never had to eat food the whole time.
  6. I agree the ghasts drops are doo doo. But they are quite easy to kill for easy prayer and combat xp. You don't have to fight over them like blue dragons and dont have to waste food and arrows. I like green dragons. too bad pkers are a bother. cant wait til I get my mage up to 85 (3 more lvls) I will try to hang out at the Nature grotto and give u all some numbers. Otherwise its shade burning til I get back to my dragon bones. I hate doin dragons when they arent my slayer task.
  7. I met a friend doing Rat Catcher quest. I was getting so frustrated at the mansion and ran into someone that showed me the ropes and became friends.
  8. The snakeskins are tradeable and the giant snail shells are not. Shells can be sold to the goblin in Dorgeshun mines area along with tortoise shells from Gnome Stronghold (shame in dumped all them, my 4yr old loved fighting them and skellies)
  9. Santa hats are like baseball cards. There is always some idiot willing to pay big money for something with no intrinsic value (piece of paper and ink or pixels in case of santa). If I am going to spend my money on something expensive it better serve a function in the game like 3rd age armour. They should have left Santa hats to those that played when they came out as a status symbol for stickin with the game so long not new players stupid enough to waste their hard earned money on a functionless piece of equipment.
  10. Herblore - not that bad on the wallet if u buy unids cheap and buy right ones to resale. Lots of free vials in the barrows in a crowded world lol. Smithy - Very expensive to buy bars only suggestion maybe collect them at brimhaven for free if u fast runner with anti-dragon shield since no one picks them up lol. Construction - U can get all the free planks u want at Barb Outpost or killing undead lumberjacks lol. Prayer - Only cheap way to get bones is maybe go to Taverly and trade hides for bones or food for bones. etc Farming - Chop lots of trees with rabbits foot and get ur own tree seeds, or grow herbs since daggonoths drop seeds like crazy. My kingdom gives u lots of seeds as well if u grow herbs and maples.
  11. I first did the trekkin without Burgh de Rott ramble (cause im an idiot) using the hard path with med diff person and got 3 hats. Now that I have done it a while I have switched to easiest person and route one both mini games. I got like 3 randoms out of 12 trips today. (2 hats and 1 boot) I read the guide and fig out to get the rod of ivandis to work every time u have to first get juve to 1/2 health then it works like a charm. I got a clue scroll that gave me Guthix page 1 (for sale btw), green dhide body, deaths, nats, addy dagger. I have to make some more Rods of Ivandis now. Also if u wear a snelm the giant snails miss you every time. And whip / dds combo owns the ghasts and shades. Havent even tried usin the Salve amulet. The giant snakes are the only thing that causes me to eat food but I fight them for the hides cause my gf loves to craft. The shade remains keep piling up in my bank so I work on my firemakin when I get tired of trekkin. lol
  12. How come u never hear about people fighting ghasts for prayer xp? They give 80xp (which is better than most bones) and no clickin involved to bury bones. U can load up your druid pouch at Nature grotto and fight them til the cows come home. Also u can get the occasional blue snelm that people need for clue scrolls. (sold one for 15k one time) Just thought I would ask the viewers since Ive been doin alot of temple trekkin lately.

Fighter torso, dds, Neitznot helm, obby shield, rune legs, spottier cape, boots of lightness, whip, barrows gloves, fury or glory amulet, ring of recoil. I rarely die and if I do its cause im in world of noobs with no one helpin me to take out portal. Just use super str and reflexs and own the portals. Use dds special on yellow portal and follow up with the whip.
  15. Do the holy grail quest and fairy tale 2 (started). Use the guide written on how to mine gold in NW Brimhaven. There are ten ore spots and a respawn. It is lot better then Keldarim place and lot less headache. My gf got to 81 mining/smithy after I told her about it.
  16. Brimhaven is the slowest cause it takes patience of job. Stick with wildy. No one hardly messes with u except for occasional idiot pkers at the lever. All u need is dds, boots of ikov and spottier cape and u can stay there all day long with a few cakes, etc.
  17. They are so easy to get fighting flesh crawlers that not many people ever run out of them. Most people trying to get 70 attack fast to sport a whip go there. If you are interested in trading them for something then pm me. I sell home teletabs and use them for barrows.
  18. I stopped mining coal when I discovered the joy of having others mine it for u in Miscellania (Managing your kingdom - Royal Trouble Quest). If u are serious about mining and smithy levels then do gold mining or power mine irojn.

What about trying a mini game? I have been temple trekkin lately trying to get the elusive "lumberjack" outfit. I have learned how to kill vampires and actually get an item drop from them by using Rod of Ivandis special (after getting them to half health) and Guthix balance potion. I also have gotten useful supplies (iron and coal ores, bowstrings, silver, raw lobsters, herbs, pure essence. etc) It has really helped me to learn my way around Canafis area a lot better. Barbarian assault has some good rewards if you try for them. (penance gloves, fighter torso and granite body) I also met some good friends playing on same team for a while. I never get tired of barrows. So nice to get those big 2M drops show up in the ole backpack.
  20. agility farming slayer mining None of those skills can be "bought" outright. All the combat skills can be pced very easily.
  21. Bob stayed in Catherby for me. At the rangin shop.
  22. Just do any thing but snares and butterflys/tracking and u will do ok. I did falcons til I could do chinchompas then I did reds once I had close enough level (Hunter potions much more useable than fishin pots lol)
  23. Smelting steel bars is like getting a root canal but more painful. I use Port P cause it is closest and make cannon balls while I do the bars. U get 36 cannon balls per run (9 bars) = 7.2k GP
  24. harpie swarms have pretty good amount of fire runes dropped also. U get some steel items and boots also.
  25. You spend more time gettin the outfit then u ever would choppin logs. I have done it for over 4 hours and only gotten 3 hats and no other clothes items. But I have enjoyed getting all the iron, coal, pure ess, bowstrings, xp, snakeskins, shade remains etc.
